For Hayley, an eighth-generation Texan, 2003 was a big year of changes! Before her epic decision to move to California, Hayley had been acting with an improvizational troupe in Austin in 2002 and before that in San Antonio working with The Learning Express. She won a Globe Award for her role as Peggy in 1999 in "Come Blow Your Horn" Neil Simon's 1969 delightful play that Hayley's theatre company revived thirty years after it was first staged! Together with her October 2001 and 2006 Globe Awards described below, she has three Globes to her credit and she is still very young indeed!

Click the item below about the blessed events for Kate and Heath who have had three babies, Brooke, Paige, and Jane! The expecting couple had moved to San Antonio in late 2001. As background Kate Burnside Simpson, an eighth-generation Texan, who has three daughters, who are therefore ninth-generation Texans, had been chosen in 2000 and again in 2001 to be the head speech and language pathologist for a new school, Burgin Elementary School that opened in Arlington Texas in the Fall of 2000 and she was their very first choice. We are proud of this recognition in the form of this promotion by AISD where Kate worked since graduation with her Master's Degree from TCU! Before Christmas 2001 Kate moved to San Antonio and had a baby born on April 13th 2002 three days before her Grand Mother's 55th birthday i.e on the 16th of April 2002!!!! On Texas Independence Day in 2004 and during a rare ice storm in 2006 Kate's second and third daughters arrived!!!!!!

Heath Simpson awarded a full academic scholarship to the acclaimed TCU Accelerated MBA program of the Neeley School of Business! He accepted and has completed the degree requirements in August 2001! Heath started and finished this program in one year and had also managed to have been further honored to study the European economy at the University of Cologne, an important institution founded in 1300. These are huge honors and tremendous opportunities for Heath to further his career. We are very proud of Heath. He has many exciting opportunities and was at the very top of the entire class. He has been recruited heavily and joined SBC in their Corporate Development Group in San Antonio Texas, where he has already been promoted and sent to the famed Kellog Graduate School of Business in Illinois for further specialized training!! Now Heath has been involved in several notable acquisitions including AT&T and numerous other transactions.

Kate Simpson is proud of her long association with the acclaimed TCU Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Clan Simpson - How did the clan Fraser become allied wih clan Simpson you ask: Heath says the Old Fox Fraser himself was called Simon Fraser, so people were called "Son of Simon" which led to "Simon's Son" which was eventually construed to be Simpson. The clan also included various names like Sims, Simonson, etc. So there you go, a little Scottish geneaology to boot!
