Listen to my heart speaking to you~~

Climbing Life's Mountain---

I can't describe the view from the mountaintop,
Or tell you of the easiest route to climb;
For I haven't reached the summit myself,
Nor smelt the fresh air so sublime.

I can't warn you of the pitfalls ahead,
Or tell you where the loose rocks wait.
I don't even know how high the mountain is,
Or how long the trip up will take.

For I'm still in this valley in life;
The trek upward I've yet to start.
I'm still hoping to climb that mountain,
But first, I must find my heart.

Life Goes On---

Thru sadness or gladness, sickness or health;
Summers or winters, poverty or wealth;

Thru success or failure, ups or downs;
In cities or countries, farms or towns;

On highways and byways, mountains or plains;
Thru tears or laughter, sunlight or rains;

In heaven or hell, either here or there;
Thru someone or something, somehow, somewhere;

Yesterday, today, tomorrow and tomorrow;
Life Goes On.....

This page of my own poetry is dedicated to the memory of my dear Aunt Creetie Tinnel, my beloved husband Robert Taylor, little Brandon Russell (only 19 months old), and most recently, my precious Grandma (the most wonderful Grandma anyone could have had) Leona Russell.

~~~THEY LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS~~~
Sympathy---
My heart goes out to you my friend,
I suffer for the pain you bear.
Your grief causes me to grieve,
And your heartache I wish I could share.
I weep for all the tears you've shed;
I hurt for the hurt you've known.
But mere words leave so much unsaid,
And can't warm a heart that feels like stone.
It does no good to question why :
Our brain could never understand.
We must accept death with faith,
And hold on tight to the Unseen Hand.
