WEST COAST BOWLERS TOUR IS COMING IN JANUARY

From The Desk of Dick Sanders, Owner and Director of the West Coast Senior Tour

Hi Bowlers,

Many of you know, that entry fields have dropped this past two years.  We have tried
different formats, and it has not worked out very well.  The time has come to reveal
a new plan for the year 2012, begining with the 1st tournament scheduled in January
at La Habra "300" Bowl.

This organization will change it's name from WEST COAST SENIOR TOUR (WCST) TO
WEST COAST BOWLERS TOUR (WCBT)

WEST COAST BOWLERS TOUR                                        PRESENTS

This organization will be made up of two age divisions.  Super Seniors, ages 60 & up.
Men & Women.  Regular Division, ages 59 & under.

Entry Fees, other than doubles, and certain tournaments in Nevada next year, will
be $165.00 for the Super Seniors & $150.00 for the Regular Division. $5.00 of the entry
fees will be deducted and go towards the end of the year tournament held in Laughlin.
The possibilities of $3,000 added to each division will come from that money.

There will also be a point system, and the minimum amount of points of 20 points to be eligible for current WCBT Bowlers only.  A point list will be accumulated  for 2012, and posted or notified to bowlers by the end of this year for 2012.

Bowlers who enter our tournaments that are not members will receive no points.  WCBT Bowlers due to re-new your membership,
or any new bowlers joining will pay a membership fee of $60.00, good for one year from the time you join. Bowlers in each division with the most points, will receive a free entry into the final tournament of the year. Runner-Ups in each division, will receive a free membership for on year.

Pay-offs of prize funds for our tournaments will be 1 for 3, Super Seniors, and 1 for 4 in the
Regular Division.  Added money for any other tournaments in the year will be pro-rated for
each division, determined by amount of entries in each division.

Plaque awards for the champions of each tournament, and any new banners, still remain the same.

DOUBLES TOURNAMENTS:
FORMATS AND AGE ELIGILITIES
WILL BE POSTED LATER.

REASON FOR CHANGE IN REGULAR DIVISION

The entry fields in this division are growing smaller for whatever reason,You can blame the economy or anything else you want to put the blame on. Our organization had built it's reputation on the amount of entries at each tournament.  Those days are gone now, and this is the time to rebuild.  This will take time, but it has a great chance to work.  This is alot better, than spinning our wheels as we are doing now.  We will lose some bowlers over this, but in the long run, I think we will gain more entries out of this, where I can line up a bowling center to schedule than fighting a losing cause of trying to get certain centers, but can't because of the amount of entries we have drawn lately.
