I was pleasantly surprised with Disney's latest animated film "Tarzan". From the opening sequence, I found myself pulled into the movie. The soundtrack written and performed by Phil Collins is a perfect match and backdrop for the storyline. The animation is state-of-the-art; it almost overwhelms one's visual senses.

The plot remains loyal in the retelling of Edgar Rice Burrough's classic story. After the tragic deaths of a baby's parents, an adult female gorilla named Kala rescues and decides to raise the boy infant as her own. The boy (Tarzan) lives as a gorilla family member and eventually becomes king of the jungle. Tarzan and family live peacefully until modern man makes a visit. Tarzan eventually meets and falls for Jane, leading him to choose between his two families.

The film will have adults and children thoroughly entertained.
