The Incident of September 21, 2000

On the above mentioned evening three SPACE explorers and I met with professional actors from a wonderfully innovative theater company, based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York, who are producing a new play called "The Abduction Project" using firsthand interviews to develop a feel and idea of the experiences and people they will portray.

During the wide ranging two-hour meeting with the actors, Meryl Johnson of SPACE mentioned how frequently the color Red pops up with some of us. She mentioned an incident in Greenwich Village a few years before on Christopher Street, being approached by a ""very handsome, tall black man" dressed in a snazzy black outfit and red tie, attracting the attention of many people as he literally danced up to her.

"Meryl, WE haven't forgotten you!" said the stranger suddenly, looking directly at her.

She did not know him but found the comment significant and meaningful in a mysterious way.

I told the actors about a similar incident that I had back in 1977. I was sitting on a bus, next to the back exit door, relaxing on my way home from work. At a bus stop in Orange, New Jersey, a handsome black man, getting off through the back door, turns to me, looks me right in the eyes, and the stranger suddenly says:

"You are going to be a leader in space."

He calmly exits the bus without further comment. As he exits a "Star Trek Moving Company" van (yes, there was a company called that then) passes by, framing the exiting starnger.

His comment puzzles me. I think, "I am not going to be an astronaut nor an astronomer, I put that behind me. I am not involved with any group related to space, although I have a deep interest in space and astronomy." The comment made no sense. It was a nonsense comment, one straight out of "Alice In Wonderland."

Then, 15 years later in 1992, I founded the S.P.A.C.E. Group, becoming "a leader" of sorts. Just like the man said in 1977! "You are going to become a leader in SPACE."

As the actors saw us out after our meeting, SPACE encounter explorer Alan White said to the actors, "THE MOMENT IN THE SUBWAY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE MOMENT IN THE CATHEDRAL" That comment was given to him in the late 1960's by a woman known as "Viv From Venus." And we all head home.

The next day I get an e-mail from two of the people in the acting company, thanking us all for an informative meeting. Then they mention this:

"By the way, as a few of us were going down the stairs of the subway station at Atlantic Avenue last night after our meeting, a short, black man dressed all in black, except for a solid red tie, was coming up the stairs.

"Several of us stopped in our tracks and stared at him. He smiled and said hello, as he continued up the stairs, exiting the station. There was also red on the back of the man's jacket, which Gus said looked like an image of Earth."

"What a gorgeous synchronicity!" wrote Meryl when she read about this one.

The synchronicity, so soon after talking about two such incidents, struck all of us as rather remarkable.

Then, today (this being written on October 24, a month after this incident), I was struck with two sudden realizations.

TRAINS AND WILLIAMSBURG SAVINGS TIME

The first was where this happened. At a subway station. Two of the SPACE people at the meeting--Ed and myself--have gotten recurrent images of TRAINS in our dreams, an image other experiencers and abductees get. There seemed to be a Train connection "designed" for this "coincidence."

Then, while writing this, another realization hit me real hard, making me say verbally, "WOW!" The subway stairs are across the street from Brooklyn's largest skyscraper...

...the WILLIAMSBURG Savings Bank building, topped by its huge Clock Tower. What hit me was the "WILLIAMS" in that word.

Again the name WILLIAMS comes up in a meaningful coincidental way.

The day of our "breakthrough"--made through an insight across the Atlantic Ocean between here and England-- we were contacted by a Walter WILLIAMS, the director of OSR-SETV, a scientific search model in the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Vistitations, not a UFO research organization.

Through our synchronistic adventures in Wonderland, the name WILLIAMS come up in several separate ways.... An experiencer meets a Father WILLIAMS, sitting with a friend of hers in a restuarant. She goes home humming the words of a poem "Father WILLIAM"--from "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland." There are more synchronisties with the name WILLIAMS, as in a church in Alton Barnes, England. And on and on...

I e-mailed the people who met with the theater troupe about the new "sync." Then I got an e-mail from Alan (10/25) who writes:

"Harold...I'm writing a new musical which I started tthe same week we visited the theater company. The Main character in the show is my Grandfather whose name was Willie WILLIAMS.... What a WOW!"

Meryl also replied to my e-mail, noting "the many levels of meaning" at play here. Then she writes that she thinks of "Synchronicties and Echoes, as the smaller and smaller synchronicties spin-off from the big ones, all of them meaningful."

Are "Synchronicities" a deliberate contact and communication, such as the Subway Incident, from some larger, more expansive, non-local mysterious unknown intelligence?

Or from a matrix of hyper-consciousness that our minds and lives are woven into? What is going on?

The White Rabbit heads down a Rabbit Hole holding a Pocket Watch. The Actors head down into a Subway Hole with a Williamsburg "Savings Time" Clock Tower above them........

THE "COMMUNICATION" THROUGH S.P.A.C.E.: NOW WHAT?

It is clear to us directly involved in the myst of this breakthrough that are receiving what seems to be an astounding communication, repeatable and validating itself, from an extraordinary intelligence, source still unknown, which has linked together events, dates, people, symbols, dreams and circumstances, on multi-levels of reality, brimmng full with unmistakable meaningful coincidences or synchronicties with the skill of brilliant performing artists, using a remarkable science glimpsed here by our scientists but fully orchestrated through the mind by the mysterious playwrites.

Other such breakthrough-like episodes have occured before with SPACE and others, but none with the immense and persistent scope which this one has presented, giving us a challenge, it seems, to do something about it all, if we choose to do so.

Let us look at the size of this operation and what had to be done, over time and space and beyond, by an intelligence far outside our comprehension but still just within our grasp.

STAGED THEATRICS AT PLAY The WHITE LIGHTS over Coney Island in September 1995 had to be positioned with the knowledge of this intelligence (we will call that consciousness "IT" given that it may represent a grouping or matrix of some sort) that I would see it after my phone conversation with woman referred by PEER about her triangular craft sighting. "IT" would have to catch my attention. I saw the people from the hair salon looking southeast, where I then noticed a white object, which I, exercizing a healthy journalistic skepticism (a necessary componet of the scientific approach), took to be a balloon or large piece of paper, at first. "IT" knew that I, out of curiorsity, would look skyward again from 91st Street and be impressed by the two triangular arrays of white lights and the one lone light, and perhaps make associations, such as my previous sightings of triangular arrays in Brewster and Central Park, with other witnesses, and the number seven as associated with seven trumpets, and the closest association that of just hearing about the sighting of a triangular craft in New England. Crossing the Barriers of Time and Space from its apparent timeless and placeless space through a Looking Glass reality, IT knew that other associations would come in "the future," as it turns out, June 2000. "IT" would seem to have been aware of the Triangular Lodge built in 1595 in England, with its triangular symbols on the upper outer walls, with triangles half the size of the large ones, similar to the sizes of the ones over Coney Island in 1995. "IT" would have to know that the rabbit connection would be made at, with the word "Coney" as the Olde English word for rabbit, and that the Source would also know, as if the re-enforce its communication, that the Triangular Lodge was also called "the Warrenyers Lodge" because of the keeper of rabbits who once lived there so long ago. To do all this, the contact between Gary H. in England and myself in the U.S. would have to be made via the World Wide Web, as was done in early 2000, with Gary H. sending information that he felt, brick by brick he said, would create something that would eventually make sense. That came out to be the Triangular/Warrenyers Lodge. "IT" would also have to be aware of the "Three Knocks" phenomenon, part of an old initiation process, such as with Masons, but specifically referring to Whitley Strieber's "Nine Knocks" episode of 1988, the series of the three knocks totalling nine, and the knocks in Glenrock, Colorado at that time. "IT" would have to know about the Three Knocks heard by Sir Thomas Tresham and his two servants 400 years ago. As for the rabbits, "IT" probably knew of the Alice In Wonderland story with its White Rabbit, using "Wonderland" as an analogy for "ITs" own realm of reality AS A WAY OF EXPLAINING ITS PECULIAR PERCEPTIONS FOREIGN TO US. Even the lights over Coney (Rabbit) Island were white, like that White Rabbit. Perhaps "IT" arranged to place that rabbit-on-a-chain in an experiencer's apartment in July 1993, following the sighting of a triangular cloud over Brewster during a contact experiement between SPACE there and Colins Andrews in England. The crop formation formed in Herkimer County, New York (where Andrews had been in May 1993 prior to taking a tour with SPACE of the Brewster area) on the very day Andrews and SPACE were trying a tandem contact experiment in the US and England, seemed to be arranged by "IT." Learning of Lorie B.'s mysterious, no return address package as this unfolded, with the package shaped in a triangle, from 1986 prior to her first meeting with Whitley and Anne Strieber, and the words "Congratulations" on it, seeming meant for her, but, stretching over 14 years to now in 2000, meant for SPACE to hear, as if "congratulations for getting this!" Add to this Lorie B.'s nightmares of White Rabbits, her fondness for "Alice In Wonderland," Meryl J.'s "house full of rabbits," RL' seeing three rabbits shadowed in his bedroom and then the rabbit on Interstate highway 95 to connect with the year of 1995 and the Coney Island sighting, and other rabbit and Alice associations, the synchronistic element seems not only to be re-enforced but overdone after awhile, like enough already, we get it! And then there is my own personal connection. During a "visitation" in December 5, 1972 in West Orange, New Jersey---the mysterious incident that led me to contact Budd Hopkins in 1987 starting my own exploration,--- under hypnosis in 1988 I "recalled" beings entering through my bedroom door. On that door was my poster of Alice In Wonderland's WHITE RABBIT. Then there is the ability of "IT" to operate at the dream levels of consciousness, as shown here with the implanting of "a flying saucer rimmed with seven trumpets" just before I learned of Joseph Wiek's recall of an "aiien carrying a trumpet." In July, SPACE, in an alert and two follow-up alerts, offered this information to major ufologists for peer review and verification following scientific protocols. The response, except for a couple of them, fell short of expectations and was minimal. All this may be dismissed by many ufologists, as all mere coincidence that has nothing to do with encounter experiences except as manipulations of our minds or flawed connections made by our own over-active minds. As one researcher who briefly looked at it, it was incomprehensible, having no context within even on-edge UFO research with which to relate it. Another research group seemed not to care, like in "so what else is new?" And bring in all the other associations, all brought into focus from an apparent staged UFO sighting in Coney Island, the "WOW! Signal" from an unknown Source with highly developed consciousness suggestes a mind-blowing intelligence at work and at play, with a direct and intimate interaction, done remotely, that is not only of immense scientific, artistic and psychological genius but of wonder, beauty and, dare we say, of matters of the spirit. THE BARNEY HILL CONNECTION DOES IT! Then, early in September, we in SPACE were reminded of the words of abductee Barney Hill: "I FEEL LIKE A RABBIT. I FEEL LIKE A RABBIT," comparing his feeling of fear to that of a trapped rabbit. And soon after, during the same session with Dr. Benjamin Simon, his references to "the CHESIRE CAT" in "ALICE IN WONDERLAND." Now IT All Ties Together!! This shows that "IT" is making an earnest attempt at a conversation in a more Open Contact, and giving validation to the otherworldly connection with we who are experiencers of a most extraordinary phenomenon, making us THE HUMAN BRIDGE between "IT" and humanity!!! *** *** *** OUR CONTACT DIRECTED AT SCIENTISTS? Through the Science of Associations and the Physics of Information we are gaining access to a deeper, underlying reality, thanks to the close encounter matrix, which is altering our Basic Perceptions of reality. As the Rabbit asks, "What Is Real?" Some Earth scientists have thought that the science and technology of a far advanced extraterrestrial civilzation, 100,000 of years to millions of years ahead of ours, would appear "as magic" to us here on Planet Earth. What we see here in the Breakthrough is that magic working its wonders playfully. A few weeks before the June 12 insight resulting in the Breakthough, SPACE placed "A CALL TO ACTION: It's Time to Create a Breakthrough" on our SPACE Links and Contact Us Page. (Please see text on Page 10) It appealed to the scientific and ufology communities to work together. The Call was also directed at "IT"--the ETI or otherworldly inteligence itself, through the Internet via the SPACE webpage. That was a deliberate move on our part, asking for a response. We at SPACE were unaware of OSR-SETV at the time, and specifically, Allen Tough, University of Toronto Professor Emeritus of Psychology (on SETV website's Links page), who made what would seem a farout proposal from the scientific community---"An Invitation To ETI" to make contact and communicate through the Internet! That could come about and lead "Toward A Worldwide Dialogue Between ETI (Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) and Humans," as Tough explains with much back-up from the scientific, engineering and academic communties. (NOTE: Allen Tough is SETI League's Regional Coordinator for Central Canada and, making a trans-Atlantic connection, a Fellow with the British Interplanetary Society. His fascinating website presents some of the most thoughtful material ever on extraterrestrials and relates, surprisingly, to areas explored by some ufologists.) What actually happened on June 12 was that OSR-SETV, through its director, Walt Williams, got in touch with SPACE after reviewing our website and seeing evidence of "apparent communication" through remote natural or quantum technical means without actual physical contact and offered to dialogue with SPACE. We accepted! On that very same day, between Gary H. in England and myself here in New York City, was the insight that dawned, leading to the Breakthrough. That mere chance coincidence, always a possibility, took place is less likely than a deliberate contact and communication from an outside source. [Williams, a military hardware/software development contractor, formed OSR-SETV with "SLS" --a JPL-NASA spacecraft engineer. Williams designed the "ETP (Extra-Terrestrial Probe) SETV CE-VI Contact Experiment," an Opitcal-Laser Transmitter and Receiver to detect and attract "The ET Handshake." "The base ETp experiment is an attempt to attract, engage and communicate with a responsive ETI optically transmitted code," Williams wrote.] IT APPEARS THAT THE CONTACT WITH S.P.A.C.E. WAS ALSO DIRECTED TO THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY, SPECIFICALLY TO O.S.R.-S.E.T.V. THROUGH A HUMAN "INVITATION TO ETI"!!! The NEXT STEP here is for the scientific community to seriously consider the Breakthrough WOW! material, with its compelling signs of ricidivity, recurrent and serial episodes, along with other possible contact information presented on the SPACE Site and in other relevant data collected by ufologists, as "IT" has made the RABBIT and ALICE IN WONDERLAND LINK specifically with the Betty and Barney Hill incident. There seems to be some sort of advanced hyper-intelligence "out there" trying to communicate with us. It is not using radio transmitters but The Matrix of Living Consciousness as expressed through Human Beings. And having some fun in doing so! *** *** *** DO WE SLEEP ON IT? OR COME WIDE AWAKE? So, now what? Do we go back into our usual ways, file this all away in the records, and go back to sleepwalking through life, as some would--and have--strongly advise, seeing this all as an extension of human misperceptions. It may all be, afterall, just pure CHANCE COINCIDENCE with meanings imposed upon them,-- the simplest and, therefore, the most likely explanation. Or, if this really "means something" as Roy Neary said in the movie "Close Encounters"of his experiencesnce, do we truly wake up and expand our limits of reality, explore and learn to live in the fuller expanse of a greater reality and journey even further, if we as a species can take it, having been presented with a gift and a vision through a Stunning Contact and Communication which now seems to be a Conversation. How do we continue and expand on that dialogue? We ask other encounter explorers, those UFO researchers who remain open and keep questioning, and scientists, specifically OSR-SETV,--and anyone else out there--to now partake of that dialogue! Or to, at least, consider the developments unfolding here, as controversial and strange as they are. This Contact took place not by pointing radio telescopes skyward (a necessary and noble endevour) but by turning the mind telescope towards our inner spaces where this WOW! Signal suddenly came vibrantly to life from some unknown hyper-space. Within all this there seems to be a dynamic living conscious physics beyond the quantum, for it reveals the interactive aspects of deepest realities, and seems to celebrate that in the manner of its presentation. Perhaps it is time to act and involve ourselves deeply in the creative process here to see where it will take us next...or to just say "that was all very interesting but let's not bother ourselves with speculation" and get on with our lives, with their limitations, as if nothing really happened, and have a good laugh. "ET" AND THE RABBIT by Harold Egeln

On this Sunday evening, (24 September 2000) after working for hours at two outdoor news assignments today taking notes and snapping many photos, and after a really busy week writing many news articles for my two newspapers, I needed to relax, time purely for myself.

At home I plopped in a videotape of "Mary Poppins" into my VCR, while I read the Sunday newspapers and drank hot Ovaltine, to enjoy the fun movie. In the movie Mr. Banks, the father of the children who adore Mary Poppins, is fired by his bank executives, dancing away singing, "A Spoonful of Sugar Makes the Medicine Go Down." That is a favorite expression of Gary H. in England, using it to show how the "unknown" measures out its messages to make it easier to absorb the bigger picture. As Mr. Banks sings and dances away, the bank's top executive calls him "madder than a March Hare," the Alice In Wonderland reference. It's a nice happenstance coincidence, nothing more, my own innate and professional journalist's skepticism at work

Then I wanted to watch another "feel-good" video movie. I was going to watch a Woody Allen comedy, but chose Steve Spielberg's 1982 classic, "ET -- the Extra-Terrestrial."

In the beautiful nighttime walk that ET takes through the woods, ET reaches for a small, pine tree sapling. As he does that, a RABBIT appears, filling the screen twice, watching ET. Then fear breaks out as humans start searching through the woods and ET's spaceship, to escape their detection, leaving the alien scientist behind and alone on this strange planet Earth.

Once again I was struck by another possible synchroncity and to contemplate that whatever "IT" -- that unknown, incredibly brilliant and playful intelligence that appears to be behind these episodes presented here -- once again was aware of this very RABBIT sequence in the movie "ET" when IT initiated this contact and/or communication!?!?

IF this all be true, then we are faced with truly immense implications, with the typical close encounter characteristic of built-in AMBIGUITY ever-present (that maddening "Well, Maybe-Yes and, then Maybe-No" factor.)

As you will see soon, there has been not been any major response so far by ufologists and scientists, except for three very fine responses. to all that you have read here. That is not a criticism but a factual statement, except for two thoughtful responses and one "go for it" encouragement. The scientists, we think, will eventually see something going on here before most ufologists will.

WE, as Encounter Explorers, are largely left by ourselves to understand the hyper-intelligent significance of this highly probable Contact, Communication and Conversation that continues, here as we cooly slide into Autumn 2000.

"THE WOW BUNNY" KEEPS GOING AND GOING....

At a Dalton's Bookstore at the Staten Island Mall yesterday I noticed a table with a woman selling books entitled "Staten Island Ghosts" and "Adirondack Ghosts." Her name is Lynda Lee Macken, who has written for FATE Magazine. We get into a discussion of the connections between ghosts and UFO phenomenon.

Afterwards a friend buys the book, "Adirondack Ghosts" for me. On the way home on the bus I open the book near the end and come across an old Mohawk story and then I see this passage, "Just as abruptly from the cabin's inferno, a WHITE RABBIT with glowing red eyes bounded out." Of all things to read in the book at first glance!

"LET'S GO TO THE VIDEOTAPE..."

That evening I wanted to see an old 1952 science fiction thriller movie, "Red Planet Mars," starring actor Peter Graves (from TV's "Mission Impossible" and "My Friend Flicka"), so I got out the videotape.

The plot concerns a scientist who makes contact with the Planet Mars (remember this is 48 years ago) and discovers that the Martians have an ideal world, free of poverty, want and war, and use "cosmic energy" for power.

That information causes the Western world's economy to crumble. When spiritual messages come in from Mars, it sets off a debate between science and religion (similar to the more recent movie "Contact" with Jodie Foster). The Soviet Union is overthrown in a spiritual revolution.

So where's our Rabbit? It's there, too, a large stuffed TOY BUNNY, belonging to the scientist's youngest boy. The Bunny appears, again, in a Contact situation, although one can still argue about simple coincidence.

At a talk the week before at a Budd Hopkins Intruders Seminar (Oct. 14) by Charles Foltz, one of the four principals in "The Allagash Abuction," a book written by Ray Fowler, he ends his presentation before the break showing slides of his artwork. An animal wood carving is shown. It is, you guessed it, A RABBIT.

"WOULD YOU BELIEVE, SPACE RABBITS"

Then there is the Muppet Incident. On October 6 I found a video tape I recorded over a dozen years ago of "The Jim Henson Show & The Story Teller," as I have been a Muppet fan since childhood, with a fondness for puppets and marionettes like Howdy Doody.

(One experiencer, after seeing a presentation by Dr. John Mack in 1992, recalled a childhood "memory" of an older boy--believed to be me-- entertaining "abducted children" with finger puppets, not knowing that I was fascinated with puppetry.)

There is a space theme to this particular episode, with "Contact" made, all done in typical Muppet fun style.

"SPACE Guy" (a human played by actor Louie Anderson) is piloting his spaceship. He is contacted by an alen species of SPACE RABBITS, led by "COMMANDER BUNNY," who appears on the View-Screen.

"SPACE Guy" says something to "COMMANDER BUNNY," which startles the alien rabbit, who then comments, "WHAT A COINCIDENCE!" The Space Rabbits cast a magical spell on SPACE Guy, who turns slowly into a Rabbit.

No, folks, we're not growing rabnit ears and bunny cottontails---yet! I did not expect to see this segment, which I forgotten. I wanted to see the Story Teller episode about "The Heartless Giant" and stumbled on this delightful segment. Was his mere Chance Coincidence (they do happen, of course, as we know) or Designed Synchronisity? I don't know!

At the newspaper where I work the other reporter was talking with the production department chief about a "coincidence" involving the chief's daughter. On a flight over to England on the past weekend the daughter sat in seat 24D. On the return flight she just happened to be on a seat numbered 24D again. My fellow reporter and the chief marvelled over the coincidence. If they only knew about Our Rabbits, I thought in silence!

THE PERSONAL & UNIVERSAL "WOWs!"

Just the other day (October 14) I get an e-mail from an experiencer who just read about "The Breakthrough" here, relating her own "Personal WOW" and "epiphinay" upon reading this material for the first time.

She relates to a White Rabbit, Schrodingers Cat/Rabbit, Seven Wheels, Indian lore, on this site and in her life, which we cannot deail here. But she jarred my memory when she recounted the last nighttime skywatch field trip we of SPACE made, in hercar, to our contact site in the Hudson Valley in Brewster near the Croton Falls Reservoir in Augst 1998.

"Driving up you asked me about the WHITE RABBIT figurine on my dashboard," she said. Seems that "IT" knew about this when the Breakthrough started on June 12 of this year, but I did not realize it until her e-mail now.

We then, on the drive up from New York City, got into a conversation aboutETI Communication, as I mentioned the "St. Caire Incident" (reported on our Contact Page) and the historical person being "the saint of communication."

In her account she makes these shared observations with us:

"Your WOW breakthrough is rippling throughout the universe and dimensions, touching others as a potential energetic charge for these breakthrough.

"Contact of this nature transcends time, space and conscious reality into the subconscious state, deeper inner dimensions and beyond.

"The subtle artistry and poetry with which this "IT" weaves its mysterious symbolic, synchronistic web is not lost on me nor other thoughtful romantics.

"I think you have to have a lot of heart and courage to side-step the completely rational/logical approach toUfology to see the 'Grand Design' so to speak. Some schools of psychology would call it The Hero's Journey.

"The ETs have integrated consciousness, someone said, that has awareness of the conscious, subconscious, unconscious and hyper-conscious all at the same time. This is the base of communication that they come from and relate to.

"So for the UFO researchers out there, with the integrated communication technique as a possible working thing in ET contact, the vivid 'dreams,' symbolic synchronisties and such should be an avenue of exploration and research.

"The thing of it is, is that symbolism is a very personal thing, that you feel in your gut, the core of your being, and often leads to shifts in the deep inner dimensions of the individual.

"I know that this concept has been stated before by the great minds of many disciplines such as psychology, philosophy, mythology and theology, but I want to emphasize the experiential here, meaning your emotions WILL get rattled, your belief systems will be challenged and shift, and your experiences/relationships of time will be different.

"In other words, you will grow, but hold on to your seat as the ride is seldom smooth."

The rabbit keeps, like the rabbits themselves, multiplying, now beyond chance coincidence, four months after the Breakthrough began, without let-up.

Rabbits are not making contact, though I'm tempted to buy a rabbit mask for this Halloween. Whoever or whatever may be doing this, it has latched onto an image, a symbol, an animal, a nonhuman intelligence known for re-birth and prolific breeding.

THE PERSISTANCE OF "WILLIAMS"

Throughout this page there has been a synchronistic reference to the name "Williams" that appears to be beyond mere coincidence. We have suggested that our "contact" is directed through us to the world and wizards of Science.

Walt WILLIAMS, director of OSR-SETV (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Visitations) contacted SPACE on the day, by chance, of our Breakthrough.

An experiencer meets a friend in a restaurant who is sitting with a priest, Father WILLIAMS.The experiencer goes to sleep that night reciting the words of "Father WILLIAM," a poem in her favorite childhood book, "Alice In Wonderland."

A woman in England visits a church in Alton Barnes, picks up a brochure with a Rabbit story written by a Marjorie WILLIAMS. She telll Gary H. about the brochure.

Now here, on October 25, WILLIAMS synchronisties return. After a meeting with actors who interviewed four SPACE Explorers, including myself, a month ago, in preparation for an original play, "The Abduction Project," they experience a synchronisty on the way home, connected with incidents mentioned by two of us at the meeting. The actors are profoundly stunned.

When writing the account of this synchronisity last night on the Synchronicity Page of his website, I suddenly realizedthe significant location where their synchronicity happened. At the subway entrance just across the stree from the WILLIAMSburg Savings Bank Building, Brooklyn's largest skyscraper.

I e-mailed the three other SPACE Explorers who were at the theater company meeting. One wrote back today of his own personal "WOW!" upon reading my message:

"Harold, I'm working on a new musical started the same week we visited the theater company. The Main character in the show is my Grandfather, whose name is Willie WILLIAMS.....WOW!"

Of and by itself, the Williamsburg skyscraper has no meaning to our experiences. But in a CONTEXT of a synchronisty and as part of a PATTERN, it gains meaningfulness. The same wth the other Williams references. Scientists and UFO researchers alike look for patterns and contexts. We are, as SELF-EMPOWERED Experiencers, becoming ENCOUNTER EXPLORERS, are doing what scientists and UFO researchers are doing. In our case, the "Experiment" is Researching Itself.

Also, please note in the Williams Incidents the subtle connections of three major themes:

1) SCIENCE....As in the scientific group--- OSR/SETV of which Walt Williams is the director. And the specific purpose of that organization... the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Visitations, precisely what SPACE is directly involved with by our experiences.

2) SPIRITUALITY....As in the Father Williams, the priest who Lorie B. meets having dinner with one of her friends. And as in the church brochure in Alton Barnes with ts story by Marjory Williams.

3) IMAGINATION and ENCHANTMENT....As in all of the "Alice Adventures In Wonderland" and White Rabbit connections.

Are we stretching things to fit our PATTERNS of synchronisties? Some might--and have--said , Yes, you are. There's nothing to all this. There is nothing that this fits into our boxes. Now, maybe, but we really, in our hearts and minds, do not think so. Does the Greater Realty of a Cosmic Ecology work this way? You, our readers, can decide for yourselves.

RESEARCHERS ON SYNCHRONISITIES

The dolphin researcher, Dr. John Lily, MD (author of "The Mind of the Dolphin: A Nonhuman Intelligence" and "The Center of the Cyclone") in his further experiences with deep self and the inner spaces of consciousness, discovered what he calls "the Earth Coincidence Control Office" (ECCO) in which nonhuman intelligences from elsewhere set up clusters and a series of meaningful coincidences to guide certain Earth human beings, like Dr. Lily, towards understanding that they are "agents" of some greater design.

Famed and well-respected UFO researcher Ray Fowler (author the "Andreasson Affair" books) wrote of his experiences with meaningful coincidences in chapter Seven in his 1993 book, "The Allagash Abductions:"

"Little did I know that the two events would be be linked by a sychronism of uptmost improbibilty," he writes of two separated incidents. "Such synchronisms have plagued me during 30 years of UFO investigations."

Astrophysict and information specialist Jacques Vallee, author of numerous UFO books, wrote of synchronicity in "Messengers of Deception" (in 1979) in connection with his research on "Melchizedek groups." While in Los Angeles in 1976 he took a taxi cab drive. Two days later, to his surprise, the taxi reciept is signed by the driver, whose name happens to be Melchizedek, and the only one listed by that name in the L.A. phone book.

"Most coincidences you can rationalize away. I tried to rationalize this one away. I couldn't," Vallee writes in the "Strategem Theories" chapter. 'The Melchizedek incident,,,suggested to me that the world might be organized more like a rqandomzed data base than like a sequential library. I have to conclude that mere coincidence cannot explain this incident."

In his discussion, he talks about "energy and information are one and the same thing under two different aspects." Because of this experience, Vallee says: "A new theory of information would have to be built. Such a theory might have interesting things to say about communication with the denizens of other physical realities."

Using associative constructs, such as this, might provide "a path toward realities that are not situated on far-away planets, but are right around us, outside our normal consciousness," Vallee writes. "Is it possible to promote coinciences and peculiar effects (of apparently 'paranrmal' nature) by systematically creating physical structures serving as information singularities."

We say here on this page that we are, PERHAPS, in Communication with a nonhuman intelligence. Perhaps it is ETI--those who we have our close and stalth encounters with. Perhaps it is always here around us.

Perhaps it is us, in part, that is creating this through a boost in or hightened use of our own Awareness..... LEARNING THE TRUE LANGUAGE OF THE UNIVERSE, in conjunction with those forces and or beings who use that "language."

This cannot be ignored. We present our reports here. The Internet, first used by the military and then by scientists to share and exchange information and research, has given the Earth this great means of conveying information.

We offer our discoveries here for such sharing and exchanges, whatever t may lead us in the search for knowledge, truth and new worlds....

AT THE ROUNDTABLE

Last night I was working on this website, trying to enter changes on our Calendar Page, especially to place the time of 7:00 p.m. missing from an announcement ("missing time") about a Seminar on "The Trance State" by the Mindshift Institute here in New York City, the first one occuring that very evening. After three hours and only about 15 minutes of actual work, I logged off the site.

It was about ten o'clock and I felt like watching a video, putting all this behind me. I grabbed a tape with items I recorded back in 1989, with "The Nutcracker" as the first item. I saw that the next movie was "Knights Of The Roundtable," a CinemaScope movie from the mid-1950's about one of favorite stories. The last item on the tape was a 1989 "TWILIGHT ZONE" episode from the second series called "The TRANCE."

I was startled by this coincidence, being on the night of the three part discussion series on "The TRANCE State," and that out of all my hundreds of videotapes I happened to pick this one on this evening. Oh, well, that's interesting, I said.

When I placed the tape into the VCR, it was only the final scene of "The Nutcracker," so I fast-forwarded. I noticed I recorded it over a movie from 1984, "Romancing The Stone" with actors Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas. Speeding through to get to "Knights" I see the characters entering a cave and unearthing an object.

It was a large porcalein RABBIT with a bowtie and jacket. I stopped the tape. Turner said that "a treasure" might be inside, and then Douglas smashed it open finding a valuable Green Stone, a green gem. The words "GREEN STONE" connects with research being done by Gary H. in England on ancient "ETI" communication, which is a story in itself.

Startled by these unexpected developments, I stopped and alerted, via e-mails, a dozen people, our SPACE Mission Team and Gary H. about this synchronisity, full of relevant meaning and in a well-timed context, set-off by a "missing time" announcement.

I sent an alert to Michael Mannion, head of the Mindshift Institute having "The TRANCE State" seminar series. He was the first researcher to respond to inquiries in June about our Breakthrough, expressing his confusion by our material.

Today I received an e-mail from a SPACE explorer on our mission team, noting that the name "WILLIAMS" came up in another context, that being the name of an experiencer who photographed a large, misty "Harvey-type RABBIT" at an active UFO and encounter site, a photo which I saw. At the site "Orbs" have been photographed, also.

After settling down last night, I then watched "Knights of the Roundtable," enjoying it a lot.

To Review:

*** We have the TRANCE connection, linking the "Twilight Zone" episode "The TRANCE" to "The TRANCE State" seminars of the MindShift Institute series beginning that very night at the New Yrk Academy of SCIENCES.

*** The "TWiLIGHT ZONE" itself as a metaphor for the realty from which this communication emerges, like the "WONDERLAND" that Alice enters, breaking out of the many TRANCES of our Earthly existence. As if a Hyper-Intelligence is participating in "The TRANCE State" seminar held that evening, having the last word.

*** We have the RABBIT connection, as seen in the clip--on that same videotape--of the "Romancing The Stone" movie. The porclein RABBIT, resembling the Alice Rabbit, holds a "TREASURE" hidden inside it, the Green Stone.

The ROUNDTABLE is what we all may be sitting around, no one higher or lower than anyone else, all equal not special, even the unknown intelligence that seems to be orchestrating this with us. The second episode which led me to explore my own encounters happened in June 1986 at a cabin on Cornwell-On-The-Hudson in a place called "The GRAIL," a possible personal connection here.

This is too much like theater, like a written play, showing Design, Intent, Purpose, acting more like a fiction novel would unfold. Only this is Really Happening, exquistly and elegantly weaving its way through our lives.

I will let this latest episode stand on its own merits, like all else here, as that WOW RABBIT keeps going and going.......

"OH, GOD!" by Harold Egeln, November 20-22, 2000

Expect the unexpected! That's precisely what happened this evening (Nov. 22) as I reached for a videotape to watch a non-UFO movie called "The Four Seasons" starring Mary Tyler Moore and Alan Alda, one of two movies on the videotape.

I wanted to relax after a weekend which had two public SPACE programs and a work day which included a news assignment which had me cover a ceremony honoring General Colin Powell, the former Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff at a USO dedication in his name. Oh, how I wished I could ask him about UFOs!

As I got to the movie the image flipped, making it impossible to watch. I rewound the tape to the beginning to watch another distinctly non-UFO movie starring Ann-Margaret and Bruce Dern.

METAPHOR IN A MOVIE FANTASY Instead of that movie, I discovered that I taped over it with a delightful, funny and upbeat 1977 movie by Carl Reiner called "Oh, God!" about a supermarket manager called Jerry (played by John Denver) who is contacted by God (played by George Burns). God appears in the unlikely form of an older man, as God's true appearance would be too incomprehensible. God comes to Jerry to deliver a message, which Jerry has a hard time getting across because of the appearance of God as a man, difficult for Jerry and others to accept. Nothing spacey here until we come to a climatic courtroom scene near the end of the film. Then the unexpected happens, as synchronisties and a communication fall into place, gaining meaning in that scene: * There is a minister who brought a suit against Jerry (Denver) whose name is Reverend Willie Williams (played by Paul Sorvino). Ah, a "Williams sync!" Throughout the Breakthrough we have the recurring name of Williams, here specifically to a Rev. Williams, like the priest Lorie Barnes encountered in a restaurant back in July. The movie character's full name is Willie Williams. A musical play that SPACE columnist Alan White is now writing features a character who is White's grandfather, Willie Williams. And the whole connection to Williams of SETV. * Terry Garr, who plays the skeptical wife of Jerry (Denver), also played the wife of Roy Neary (Richard Dryfuss) in the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." * The judge in the case is played by Bernard Hughes, who two years before played the role of Dr. Benjamin Simon, the psychiatrist who worked on the abduction case of Betty and Barney Hill in the early 1960's, in the 1975 NBC-TV movie, "The UFO Incident." * Actor Ralph Bellamy plays a lawyer. Bellamy was the wife of my seventh grade teacher's sister, a teacher who encouraged my writing after I wrote an enigmatic, ambigious short story about people who see and are affected by a mysterious white orb light over a beach, which I never label a UFO. It was a story I felt compelled to write, never knowing why I got such a concept. ************************ God, as played by Burns, makes a deck of cards appear and disappear before the judge, who calls it a magic trick. God/Burns leaves the witness stand and disappears himself, but all in yhe courtroom can still hear his voice, as he departs. MISSING VOICE, MISSING TEXT The judge calls the case principals into his chambers. He plays back the audiotape of the court session. God's voice is missing, to their puzzlement, although all other voices are on it. The court reporter, looking at his written record, discovers that all comments made by God/Burns are deleted mysteriously. There is no poof of God, but proof of something that really happened with the missing voice and text of God/Burns! NOW----When I first wrote his item a short while ago and placed it in its place on the website--- the entire text of what I just wrote about VANISHED, leaving only the title of this item, my byline and the picture of the audiotape! This mirrored very closely what happened in the movie. This has never happened before in the year that I have been working on this website. Then, tonight, it happens here. It happened in the "Oh, God" movie scene!!! What an elegantly beautifully crafted "coincidence." Which I cannot prove to you as what happened to Jerry (John Denver) in the movie, but which was proven to myself alone, making it a subjective experience. Perhaps some intervention took place. Or, more likely, following the Ocam's Razor principle (the simpliest explanation is the most likely) I did something wrong that I have NEVER done before which somehow eliminated the text but retained the headline and illustration on this item on this page! But that is hardly likely, given the context and timing of this new "Oh, God!" incident. It is ambigious and mysterious, all part of Close Encounters of the High Strangeness Kind. For me, it is all another clincher (and unexpectedly) for the reality of this Breakthrough presented here. We have COMMUNICATION with a definate, but unknown Non-Human Intelligence, whatever you may want to call "IT." There is an Imaginative Aspect at play in which a "control arranges" a synchronicity, in the case of the movies "Oh God" and "ET" and others, which serve as a fantasy metaphor, as does the Rabbit image. Imagination is, at times, relegated to fantasy while its contribution to human creativity is sometimes goes unexamined. FLASH!! IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN NOW As a write this, at precisely 7:27 p.m. (on 22 November 2000) I hear The New York Times food critic William Grimes is talking about "the production of the Rabbit" on classical music radio station WQXR! Not only is that RABBIT statement is relative to this discussion, as in the production of synchronicities, but the food critic is WILLIAM Grimes, bringing in the "WILLIAMS" syncs again. And then the time relates to the exact next observation I was to make, the time being 7: 27 exactly. NUMBER 27 In the "Oh, God!" movie Jerry (Denver) meets "God" on the 27th floor in a building that has only 17 floors. He later meets "God" (Burns) in a hotel room number 2700. The number "27" preceded by "26" has special significance to Egeln and SPACE major contacts in the Hudson Valley. The contact in Brewster which was the Turning Point for Egeln was on May 27, 1991, with preliminary experience on May 26. The contact in Brewster by a SPACE mission away team on the night of July 26 and post-midnight hours of July 27, 1993, done in conjunction with a contact team led by Colin Andrews at Stonehedge in England took place at that number "27." There is also a Spiritual connection (such in the New Testament Book of Revelations), as well as other related esotaric links in mystical quatrains with the number "27" as Gary H. in England has communicated to SPACE. This latest well-timed incident, which gained meaning because of the timing and the context in a synchronisitic cluster or quantum clump, is what keeps on happening! Imaginative metaphors, through rabbits, movies and such, are just one huge aspect to a remarkablly brilliant way that NHI or ETI is communicating with us, a contact that cannot be ignored nor dismissed! As Meryl Johnson observed this week, on the "Oh, God!" episode: " 'IT' is simply using a metaphor. telling us something that happens is LIKE something that happens in a fantasy." The same can be said of our multiplying Rabbit Syncs and related images, Even a minor coincidence such as happened last evening (it is now Nov.23): I made a mistake when I added an episode involving a rabbitand sundial, at the "Once Upon A Missing Time" item near the start of this Page 8, that happened at a botanical garden back in April. I misspelled "Cherry" as in the blossom. After several attempts to get into the site, I finally succeeded, changing "Cheery" to "Cherry." Now it's late and I plop in a videotape of a recent TV version by Peter Barnes of "Alice In Wonderland" as a Thanksgiving holiday treat. Near the beginning Alice tells herself that she does not want to play a tune on a piano called "Cherry Ripe." KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM This is all an exercise in the advance in KNOWLEDGE, including through new avenues and ways of knowing, from those of us who HAVE THE EXTRAORDINARY ENCOUNTER EXPERIENCE. Some of these are exercises discouraged by some very fine and caring UFO researchers, shrugged-off as "speculation," which is why the large part of ufology has ignored the information reported here, giving SPACE Dead Silence as it is outside its study boundaries. With this and all other aspects of close encounters, we of SPACE do not want to create new myths, legends, religions, institutions, belief systems, cultures, fanatasies and the like. Many of us are in degrees of deeply real emotions and thoughts in dealing with our experiences. Nor do we want to mislead you or ourselves NOR be misled by the highly intelligent forces who interface with us. KNOWLEDGE is primary, along with the WISDOM to find the TRUTHS within that knowledge, and apply the lessons learned. We are not asking for you to believe what some of us in SPACE feel we know, a growing knowledge that is still incomplete as more questions arise than answers. THE BRIDGE SIGHTING: TRICKSTER'S STAGE?

Expect the unexpected.

On my way to breakfast with a friend in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn on an ordinary Saturday morning (Dec. 2), close encounters were not on my mind.

Halfway from my home to the coffee shop, out of Nowhere, I suddenly got a burst of insights and creative ideas flowing in words on rapid currents through my mind relating to close encounters.

Then, looking up at the blue sky, around 10:15, I noticed a Very White Object in the Southwest moving over the 2.5 mile-long Verrazano Narrows Bridge, with its huge 70 story high twin towers, between Brooklyn and Staten Island. The UFO, if that what it was, was heading north towards the Hudson River.

Airplane, balloon, seagull? UFO? As always, a degree of Uncertainity about what it was.

The pure whiteness reminded me of the white objects seen to the southeast over Coney Island back in 1995, and the hundreds of phantom objects seen over the years in Brewster's night skies.

I lost track of it, and saw some airplanes in their flight pattern into Newark Airport. Maybe it was a UFO and maybe not, so onto a breakfast of soft scrambled eggs.

That afternoon, driven by inspiration and inner restlessness, typical of writer's urges, I added much material to this website's Stealth Encounters Page, not giving much thought about what may have been a UFO.

Later I alerted our SPACE Mission Team, a small core group in SPACE, via e-mail about the new additions to the site and the possible UFO sighting, which I supposed, may have been an inspiration for my writing, perhaps in telepathic contact with me, acting like a Muse. Maybe.

ANOTHER WITNESS

A SPACE MIssion Team member, Meryl Johnson, responded, telling of her similar UFO sighting at the same time, between 10:15 and 10:30 that very same morning.

She lives a few miles north of me in Greenwich Village in Manhattan, and happened to see a Very White Object moving north up the Hudson River, apparently over New Jersey. It was disc or cigar-shaped. She thinks it may have been the very same UFO. It was her first UFO sighting since 1996.

Her UFO sightings of 1993 and 1994 were connected with apparent "messages." "It was a definate form of communication and, in a way, almost like a dance or flirtation," she wrote me. "Not really contact, but gently getting me ready for conscious contact."

And, except for myself, she was the only other SPACE explorer corresponding via e-mail to Gary H. in England in response to his messages. That is another connection here.

Lorie Barnes also responded to my e-mail. "I'm not surprised," she said. "Thought and agendas of the beings often go along with the sightings."

In simple terms, some UFO sightings are STAGED for the witness(s).

In the meantime I was in e-mail communication with Gary H. in England, as he gave me the "very last bits" of information about hidden messages placed back in time by ETs, he said, after 11 months of corresponding with me since I "knocked" on his computer screen back in January 2000.

Then the Possible Meaning to the UFO hit home! And with the ever-present Agonizing Element of Uncertainity, a propellent of Creativity and Curiosity.

Ah, that Trickster Ambiguity at play again.

There's a suggested connection between the 1995 Coney Island sighting and this new one, that with seven white objects, this with one. This new one, as white as the lone White Rabbit in Wonderland, was a tiny bright white object seen also by Meryl Johnson, the woman who came home in 1973 to a "House full of Rabbits."

"I think we are dealing with some kind of wave or field function with all of these synchronisities, something on the order of scientist Rupert Sheldrake's Morphic Fields," said Johnson on this latest incident and the overall Breakthough information presented here.

A BRIDGE OF MANY LEVELS

The image of The Bridge itself is full of many levels of possible meaning:

** The Non-Human Intelligence, as expressed through its UFOs and close encounters, as that Bridge between two realms, both aspects of a vaster and deeper interconnected, collaborative Cosmic Ecology matrix.

** The White Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland being a Bridge hopping between our reality and the greater cosmic reality in the mirror realms of the "ETI."

** The Internet as a Bridge, serving as the connecting electronic bridge between Gary H. in England and SPACE in New York City.

** We, as Encounter Explorers, serving as a Bridge between the ETI and humanity.

**The Verrazano Bridge itself, named after a 16th Century Italian explorer, with its lead letter V, like the sides of a triangle, or the V for Visitors.

** Again the Internet as the Bridge between the ETI and scientists seeking contact, such as the concept of SETI League's Canadian representative Allen Tough's "Invitation To ETI" as possibly achieved in a roundabout way through SPACE, with SPACE as a link and a metaphor for outer Space. Or Internet as Radio Telescope.

** And the object itself, an apparent probe in near-Earth space seemingly in communication, via telepathy or other means, with one human, and possibly another, alerting her to look out her window. That fits into the concept of the Organization for SETV Research and SETV, the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Visitations, directed by Walter Williams, who "happened" to contact me on the day of Gary H.'s and SPACE's breakthrough on June 12, 2000. Williams, pre-Breakthrough, had reviewed SPACE's apparent interaction with ETI as presented on our website.

** The Bridge of Perception. The observed and the observer interconnecting, acting upon one another. The science of the quantum, a bridge of observers involving the observed. An information bridge. Applied science at work in the macro-world.

** The bridge sighting as a staged sighting,-- staged with the witnesses in mind, staged for them, as other sightings are described on our website. And as the many diverse events reported on this page being "STAGED" for us.

** The sighting took place on the day that Budd Hopkins' Intruders Foundation was holding a holiday fund-raising auction and party at Hopkins' large apartment in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, with UFO abduction research David Jacobs attending. I did not attend. Instead, the "UFO" put me to Work during a Party Time with famous "abduction researchers." How cool!

THE ETI--HUMAN BRIDGE

That BRIDGE seems to be a KEY Link used by the Tricksters to moving all this forward.

The possible meaning of the unexpected UFO sighting of December 2, 2000 came with our rapid comprehension of "the Communication." It took us five years to understand the implications and message of the 1995 Coney Island UFO sighting.

WE, who live the on the razor's edge of extraordinary close encounter experiences, call them "abductions" or "visitations," and WE, who are people all over the planet, with all of our diversity, are the Human Bridge with a mysterious unknown source of otherworldly intelligence.

The ETI have directly come to each of us, the Public, while the well-meaning, hard-working outside experts and the inevitable skeptics, each with their own merits, continue to debate the reasons for and the realities of encounters.

Now....this all requires listening deeper than you ever have before, to reach far within the realms of your self, probing your intuitive intelligence, as they connect with the larger realms of consciousnesses, and then you may see way far beyond the Edge of Reality. Something New is Happening. A Surprise Awaits.

While Saturday morning's event was not overtly dramatic in and of itself, just an ordinary, run-of-the-mill UFO sighting, which could be dismissed,--- its sly power lies in its subtle, gentle and whimsical way of delivery as a Messenger, revealing what seems to be an incredible intricate intelligence yearning for a relationship beyond any that we humans have ever thought possible.

Some may say that "They" are here for conquest and those people are afraid.

Others say "They" are here for contact, as explorers, and those who say that are curious.

While yet others say "They" are here for communion, and those people feel enlightened.

And still others say that "They" are not here at all, that what we, and countless more, report is not and cannot be true.

THE PHOUKA FACTOR AND "HARVEY"

Phouka---"From old Celtic mythology. A fairy spirit in animal form, always very large. The Phouka appears here and there, now and then, to this one and that one. A beguine, but mischievous creature..."

Those are the words used in the delightful, feel-good 1950 movie "Harvey" to describe the large, invisible white rabbit who befriended the kindly Elwood P. Dowd, played by Jimmy Stewart, who can see and talk with Harvey.

Also, "These stories ("The Phouka of Kildare") show the Phouka (as) trickset, mischievous, practical-joking, buthelpful and well-disposed to the human race." (from "An Encyclopedia of Fairies" by Katherine Briggs, 1974, Pantheon).

Several people who have seen the rabbit motif handed to us are reminded of the phouka "Harvey." I have always found the movie charming and funny.

Even when Mr. Wilson is reading the description of the phouka from a dictionary, the words, "...and how are you Mr. Wilson" are interjected into the text by this trickster. As our rabbit here seems to be injecting itself into all manner of places and times, even timing scenes of rabbits in movies to fit a meaningful context.

It can be said that the ETI are using the rabbit-phouka image in the same spirit that the fairies do in their stories. SPACE has its own "Harvey"!

Just during the Christmas holidays I visited one of my brothers. One of the gifts his children gave him was a special edition of "Harvey" with a introduction by Stewart. Of course, when I got home I played my own videotape of "Harvey."

There is a scene of Dowd talking with Mr. Chumley (played by Cecil Calloway, who played a leprechaun in a 1947 movie called "The Luck of the Irish"), who sees Harvey, a phouka who can orchestra time, akin to missing time. Dowd says:

"Harvey can look at a clock and stop it. And you can go anywhere you like with anyone you like and stay as long as you like. And when you get back, not one minute woud have ticked by.

"Science has overcome time and space. Harvey has not only overcome time and space, but any objections." What the Dowd character says fits into what is going on here with the Breakthrough Contact, which stretches the limits of high strangness.

Remember, the contact encounter experience has the ETI first presenting themselves sometimes as animal figures like dogs, owl, wolves, raccoons, deer and cats, and, of course, rabbits.

What strikes me as the mark of a well-orchestrated work is how that rabbit hopped passed a sun dial (an ancient clock) at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden back in late April 2000 during the Cherry Blosom Festival. The rabbit happened to jump under a hedge, just as I photographed it, perhaps, down a rabbit hole?

In Whitley Strieber's book "Breakthrough: The Next Step," (an excellent exploration of how contact actually unfolds), he writes of "then comes a completely new approach:" (by the "visitors") they dropped me down the proverbial rabbit hole. I tumbled into the depths of the unconscious, the depths of time, the depth of everything."
