Rabbits!? Ridiculous!? Relevant!? Is this the face of Contact? A highly repected 19th Century mathematician named Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, under the name Lewis Carroll, writes of a large talking White Rabbit with a Pocket Watch in a nonsensical fantasy called "Alice's Adentures In Wonderland." Perhaps the popular childen's tale is being used by a numinous intelligence to convey its reality to humans using a familiar allegory. What would you say if a NASA scientist proposed using Rabbits In Space?.....

WHITE RABBIT AT SPACE TOY EXHIBIT
By Harold Egeln, Jan. 27, 2001 |
By Harold Egeln with Gary
*** *** ***
New York City & England, Feb. 10, 2001 --- Cosmologists have said that the universe and reality may be stranger than anything that science fiction has ever imagined. Following on the bunny trail since June 12, 2001 has been like being on a treasure hunt, a search to solve a mystery, with our Rabbit leading the way.
Now sooner than we get away from the museum gift shop with a girl named Alice holding a white rabbit doll at the space and robot toy display, then something else happens, another link.
A friend of Gary's, whose name makes a connection with France, informs Gary of a book and game that was popular in England and Europe about 20 years ago called "Masquerade."
"I can remember the way this treasue hunt caught the imagination of the public when it first started," Gary wrote Egeln on Jan. 31. "You could win a prize that was worth a small portion if you could work out all the clues."
"If you studied the pages as you read the story, you could find the clues hidden in the pictures. Many people entered the hunt from all over England, and it lasted for months while people looked around the whole country."
"In the end the treasure was found about 12 miles from where I live. It was a necklace made of precious metas, the main item being a large HARE (Rabbit) crafted as the main item of this fairy tale necklace," Gary writes. It was found near the foot of a cross at Ampthill.
I remember reading about the game years ago, I told Gary, who was glad that I remembered it.
On February 2 Gary writes me back that he was told that the author and illustrator of "Masquerade" is named Kit WILLIAMS. Again, incredibly beyond coincidence, the name Williams enters the picture, and specifically connected with a hare/rabbit.
"An interesting point is the picture of the Hare On the Moon on SPACE webpage 8," Gary writes. "It is most curious to see that the story of Masquerade is about the Moon falling in Love with the Sun and asking HARE Jack to help!"
"Again it is a story of Love. It took place in the British Isles. And it ended up in the county where I l work, beneath a cross!"
That close proximity, considering all that is presented in this Breathrough, is remarkable, along with the elements of the Rabbit, a Williams, and a necklace.
That rabbit on the necklace leads us back to the crystal rabbit discovered on a chain by the experiencer in New York, and seen by him as a gift, after the Contact experience of July 27, 1993 involving a SPACE field team in the Hudson Valley and at Stonehedge in England with a team led by crop circle researcher Colin Andrews.
You can review the information about Kit Williams' "Masquerade" and the photo of the Hare on the necklace on the web site link below. Note that it says, "to solve the hidden riddle, you must use your eyes, and find the HARE in every picture that may point you to the prize."
Have we been give an amazing GIFT through the Breathrough that is taking us to an extraordinary PRIZE??

PERSISTENCE OF WILLIAMS

England, February 21, 2001 -- At 10:30 this evening Gary H. is sent by his wife to a late night super-market. He flashes on a cartoonish White Rabbit and see tubes of Cadbury Candy, only one of which has its White Rabbit showing. He buys it, wondering if it has meaning, dispatching an e-mail 26 hours later across the Atlantic to New York City.
****************
New York City, February 22, 2001 -- Times Square Theater District...At 10:30 Harold Egeln is leaving the Richard Rodgers Theatre after seeing and thoroughly enjoying "Seussical The Musical," a delightful, whimsical musical celebration of the wonderful Dr. Seuss's stories, built around Egeln's favorite Seuss story, "Horton Hears A Who!"
No one believes that "H" hears "A Who," who are incredibly tiny microscopic beings who live a planet the size of a dust particle and therefore are invisible. But Horton has big ears and is a Listener, and contact and communication is established.
Egeln is deeply moved by a musical number, sung by Horton and JoJo, a Who boy on the tinest planet in the universe suspended from school for thinking, being too curious with his mind.
Both Horton and JoJo, alone with their discovery on their two vastly different sized worlds, sing "ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE." On stage there is beautiful Blue background with White Stars. By the end of the musical, everyone knows "We Are Not Alone" in the Seussical Universe.
Boarding the subway, after the show, entered on 47th Street and Broadway, Egeln looks first at the "Howdy Doody" TV videotape he bought earlier that evening at the Virgin Mega-Store, with an episode called "Easter" about the Easter BUNNY wanting to hide eggs for the Easter Egg Treasure Hunt.
He then looks at the Playbill magazine featuring "Seussical" and opens immediately to a page with, in large print red letters, --- "ALICE IN WONDERLAND," --- which is actually about a singer, Alice Ripley (believe it or not).
Back at home two hours later, Egeln reads Gary H.'s e-mail about his White Rabbit incident at the Super-Market, which made Gary H. wonder if it meant something or not. He views the photo of the candywrapper that Gary H. sent him, with the White Stars on the Blue Background, like in the "Seussical" stage song, "Alone In The Universe."
A day later a friend of Gary H. informs him, after viewing the Cadbury Episode on this page, that he once entered a Cadbury Chocolate Easter Egg Hunt, coming in second place.
WE ARE NOT ALONE in the UNIVERSE....
Yes, the Micro and the Macro levels of reality, the Alice and Gulliver factors again, too. What follows on Part Two here are the further magical reports of our true "Adventures In Wonderland," from September 2000 to the present (now being late Winter 2001).
********************************************************
We are truly in Wonderland as our whimiscal Rabbit, as if on a magic carpet ride, entertains, entices and enchants.
There seems to be a well-scripted beauty to our journey through this Wonderland, which has crossed into our world, bringing out the wonder in us who have been invited and given a gift, showing us a re-enchanted world all around us that we have wandered, as a species, away from.
These ETI, whoever they are behind the Masquerade, are playwrites of the psyche exposed, staging the UNEXPECTED spontaneously, opening us to, it seems, greater possibilities.
Such is the latest Remarkable Rabbit Report:

New York City, Saturday, February 24, 2001 -- I meet a friend, whom I have not seen for months, for lunch at a dinner in Queens. She has been a supporter of SPACE for nine years and mostly we talk about the latest developments in the Breakthrough, centered around the Rabbit theme.
We exchange Christmas gifts, albeit two months after the holiday and we part, as I descend underground into the subway station for my trip home. I need to get some rest before seeing the first preview performance this event of "The Abduction Project," which SPACE, along with Dr. Mack's PEER and Budd Hopkins' IF, had a role in creating, as our people were interviewed by the theater ensemble.
I board the R subway train for my trip home. The subway car is jammed filled with ads featuring RABBITS!
Every ad is a Nestle NesQuik CHOCOLATE Drink advertisement featuring the Nestle BUNNY. I am amazed and tickled pink by this. In subway trains here a car occassional has one product advertised in one car, while most have a mix of advertisements. There are 30 Nestle Chocolate BUNNY ads in this car.
Most of them have the words in bold WHITE letters: "Have Bottle. Will Travel." Others have "Get A Grip" and "Grab. Gulp. Go."
Next to those words is a yellow bottle with the NesQuik Bunny holding a glass of his Chocolate Drink. I try to surpress my desire to laugh outloud, but at that moment three children start to giggle about something else. Gulping, I QUICKLY GRAB the associations here, so soon after talking about the Breakthrough events with my friend:
THE ASSOCIATIONS:
** THE RABBIT. Of course.
** CHOCOLATE. The immediate link to Gary H.'s Cadbury Chocolates he bought three nights before in England, with the White RABBIT on the wrapper.
** Have BOTTLE. This comes like the proverbial "Message In A Bottle." Also, the Bottle that Alice in Wonderland drank from, changing her size.
** WILL Travel. The WILLIAMS Connection so soon again, within 24 hours of two other WILLIAMS connections, as in British 1950's contactee George Hunt WILLIAMSON and Gibbs WILLIAMS, the psychotherapist who did a workshop on Synchronicities. And, of course, Travel as in Space Travel.
** The Number of RABBIT ads. My friend, over lunch, told me of her father's Magic Tricks when she was a child. In his kit was a deck of trick cards with YELLOW RABBITS. These ads were like larger versions of those cards. Of Course, there are cards in Wonderland.

Saturday Evening, February 24, 2001
Getting off the subway at Spring Street in Soho at eight, I head towards the HERE Arts Center to see "The Abduction Project" play by Collson Theory. On the far corner of the block is the word "Space." It is the name of a store, closed for the evening. It is a HAIR Salon.
While waiting inside the HERE Arts Center at the entrance to the theater inside there is a young woman in front of me with a PINK Bow in her HAIR. It is distinctly in the shape of Two RABBIT Ears! I am astounded at this Hare on Hair, after seeing the Space Hair Salon.
It was at a Hair Salon in Brooklyn that all this started, as people outside the salon watched the UFOs over Coney (as in Rabbit) Island.

New York City, Sunday, February 25 -- After an afternoon spent with a friend visiting American Museum of Natural History and the Rose Center for Space (new home to the Hayden Planetarium) we had dinner. I updated him at one point about the latest Breakthrough developments and the Rabbit connections.
After dinner we headed for some ice cream. On Amsterdam Avenue between 72nd and 73rd Streets we gazed into a party store window at he Easter Bunny display. Nothing unusual about that, as the holiday is almost two months away.
A few doors down we go into a Haagen Daaz Ice Cream shop, where I have a CHOCOLATE Milk Shake and he has a Vanilla and CHOCOLATE Yogurt. As we are sitting down, eating our chocolates, a young, handsome black man runs into the shop and looks at us, smiling.
"When does Daylight Savings Time begin?" he asks us. "On April First, April Fool's Day," I answer, thinking what a strange question to ask now.
"Do the clocks go forward, or to we make time go backwards?" he asks. "We spring forward, turning the clocks one hour ahead," I reply.
"Can I do that at six o'clock the evening before? Yes, I will do that," he says, thanking us and rushing out of the shop.
Then it hits me like a ton of bricks, or should I say, like a large basket of Easter eggs! So here are the ASSOCIATIONS:
** RABBITS> We had just, moments before, looked at the Easter BUNNY Display in the Party (as in Mad Tea Party?) shop window.
** CHOCOLATE> We were both eating chocolate. again making the chocolate link with Gary H.'s Cadbury Chocolates with the White Rabbit, his friends link with the Cadbury Cocolate Easter Egg Hunt, and my experiience with the Nestle Bunny Chocolate Drink ads on the train the day before this.
** QUESTIONS OF TIME> The man asked a question about time. Spring forward. Falling backward. Alice's White Rabbit with his Pocket Watch, concerned about being late.
** APRIL FOOLS DAY> A day for people to play tricks. The well-known TRICKSTER element of the UFO and close encounter phenomenon. Presented here with a specific reference to time, as in Savings Time and Standard Time, a change which just so happens to fall on April Fools Day this specific year!
** "BUNNY"> My friend, when he was a child, was enamoured by rabbits. So much so that he wanted to change his name to "BUNNY" but his parents steadfastedly refused, since it would not be a good name for a boy.
Upon leaving the ice cream shop, right ahead of us was a large corner CLOCK, with black letters on white, reinforcing all this.
After seeing my friend to the bus, I board the subway. First an A train. then a D train. All the while thinking about all this. At the Pacific Train Platform, off ATLANTIC AVENUE, I am waiting or another train.
"What if I board another NesQuik Bunny Train? No, that can't happen again so soon. But I can WISH, can't I?" I think.
My TRAIN pulls in. As I board the car, it s filled, end to end, with the NesQuik BUNNY ads!! I laugh. I also realize that a block above me is the WILLIAMSBURG Saving Bank, with its big CLOCK Tower. I am not on a R Train as in Rabbit, but an N Train, as in Nestles.
When I get on the R train for the last leg of my trip, there is a Transit Authority Sign in front of me, first words. It reads: "Be Sure You're On The Right TRACK."
*******************************************************
The TRAIN image, as associated with experiencers' dream, was incorporated in "The Abduction Project" Play, which I saw the night before this latest episode, which involved trains, as did the one yesterday. Only Very Real TRAINS, with direct synchronistic assocaitions!

The April Fools connection brings many associations, as we of SPACE decode its possible meanings. Time fools us and our conceptions of time.
Certainly "Missing Time," a term made popular by Budd Hopkins just 20 year ago fools the memories of those in Stealth Encounters.
In 1954, during a massive wave of "flying saucer landings" in France, Jacques Vallee in his book "Passport To Magonia" (1970) recounts an incident where a French farmer encounters a small man in a space suit who asks "What Time is it?" The farmer says, "It's 2:30." The little man in the space suit gets upset. "You FOOL! You lie! It's 4:00!" and runs away from the farmer, leaving him puzzled.
Here in Feb. 2001, 47 years later, a man (a messenger?) walks into an ice cream shop and asks us about when Daylight Savings Time begins, when we "lose" an hour, which "goes missing" until it is returned in October.
And this year Daylight Savings Time happens to begin on April Fools Day, bringing in the word of the "space alien" from 1954, "You FOOL!" And the man in the shop in 2001 says, "Can't I set my clock ahead at 6:00 on Saturday evening? Does it matter"" The same elements are there.
Also, the reference again to France (in the 1954 incident), as Gary H. has talked about the FRENCH Connection, which also ties in with the Cadbury Chocolates in ways we cannot discuss here.
Gary H., months ago, talked about the importance of the Tarot Cards with the Fool and the Magician. Now he and a SPACE explorer here show that the April Fools can be a warning to us as well, that with all this High Strangeness and Rabbits, we may appear foolish to respectable science and ufologoy, which is true to an extent.
Are we being tricked and in danger of falling into a trap?
"Trickster is providence's representative -- a kind of savior sent when a society is in crisis and no longer serves the needs of the people... (Trickster) (is) a rebellious, god-like figure that brings about fundamental change. He is called Hermes in ancient Greece, Coyote among the Indians of the American plains and Monkey in the Buddhist world," writes Dr. John Mack in a New York Times op-ed piece, "TRICKSTER'S TIME," on Nov. 30, 2000, referring to a new book, "Trickster Makes This World" by Lewis Hyde. (Mack's article is about the current political climate, not UFOs.) "Uncertainity is one of the Trickster's creative tools," Dr. Mack writes.
But, remember here and now, we of SPACE are giving you our reports of HIGH STRANGENESS episodes, as they happen, which is one large aspect among other aspects of Close Encounters. These occur in the midst of our otherwise busy lives, lives that are largely spent doing things not at all related to these happenings.
We will neither get carried away with this nor ignore it. Our job as encounter explorers is to give the reports, no matter how bizzare, enchanting, fascinating or strange, and to try to decode these episodes as best as we can.

Joseph Wiek, in January 1993, asks Harold Egeln, "What time is it?" and, in April 2000 a rabbit rushes past a Sun Dial, displaying the time, and then, in February 2001, a man rushes into an ice cream shop and asks, "When does Daylight Savings Time begin? Do we lose time or gain it?" ....What are we dealing with here?-H. Egeln

"What do we know about the nature of communication that is reported between humans and the UFOs they preceive?....(On) the surface. such communication appears to be simply absurd....I prefer the expression 'meta-logic.' When a witness meets a UFO occupant who asks, 'What time is it?' and replies. 'It's 2:30,' only to be bluntly told, 'You lie -- It is four o'clock,' (this actually happened in France in 1954.) the story is not simply absurd. It has a symbolic meaning beyond the apparent contradictions of the dialogue. Could the true meaning of the dialogue be, 'time is not what you think?' or 'any measurement time can only be relative?' ...The point of (such) incidents
seems to have been to convey the fact that consciousness transcended time itself."
---- from "The Invisible College: What a Group of Scientists Has Discovered about UFO Ifluences o the Human Race" by Jacques Vallee -- E.F. Dutton, 1975-76. In the passage above Vallee aso refers to abductee Barney Hill trying to explain the concept of time to "an alien" and another experiencer seeing a clock with no hands.

Theater as performed on stage and as performed in our lives, and the blend of dream and reality are now being acted out with the new Breakthrough episodes of late February.
"They're here!" as the man shouted running through the streets of Washington D.C. after a flying saucer landed in the 1951 movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still." And "They're HERE!" as in the HERE Arts Center production of Collision Theory's new play, "The Abduction Project."
I saw the ensemble's excellent production on Saturday evening, February 24, experiencing it (for that is the proper word, "experiencing"). [You can read my review on Page 14 of this website.]
The first preview showing of the play, on Saturday evening, Feb. 24, is placed in the middle of the cluster of synchronistic high strangeness happenings that began with Gary H.'s White Rabbit-Cadbury Chocolate Super-Market trip of February 21 in England, continued through Feb. 24 with my own Rabbit TRAIN episode and spilt over to Feb. 25 with the TIME Question in the ice cream shop.
There are links between the play and this latest WOW! events. A central theme and image of the play is the question and nature of TIME, with a mysterious man wearing black sunglasses checking his Pocket Watch, patterned after Alice's White Rabbit. At the ice cream shop, a man rushes in and asks a Question about TIME,---do we move it forward or backwards? It is connected with April Fools Day, and how time can fool us.
Throughout the play the haunting sound of railroad tracks clanging to the movements of a TRAIN are heard. And in a dreamlike state the central family in the play is taken aboard what appears to be a surreal "train," after they go to sleep. On the afternoon before the play and on the evening after that first performance actual TRAINS, in the subway, play a role with a Chocolate Drink Bunny, a central image here.
"Dream" Meets "Reality" on the R and N subway trains. Trains are an image that arise in stealth encounter experiences and in dreams related to close encounters.
It appears that the orchestration of our Breakthrough is blending in so well, through this latest High Strangeness cluster of episodes, with the images, movements, themes, music and sounds of "The Abduction Project."
Being in-sync, it is as if the forces that are portrayed playing out in the ensemble's performance are performing with us in "The Search Project," SPACE, here in New York City and England.
It demonstrates a possible suggestion that whatever Intelligence is behind these aspects of close encounters is fully aware of Collision Theory's play--- and has really joined in its performance on the stage of our lives and staging appropriate thought-provoking scenes.
********************************************************
"THEY'RE HERE," BUT WHERE FROM?
At the end of a news assignment for my newspapers on Tuesday evening (Feb. 27), a routine local precinct Police-Community Council meeting at a station house -- a world far removed from these High Strangeness and Rabbit Synchronistic Episodes -- a civic activist asks me a question:
"Harold, Where is HARVEY?" he asks, in a powerful voice with a heavy Brooklyn accent. I say "What?" He repeats, "WHERE IS HARVEY?"
And I think of Harvey the giant White Rabbit Phouka (Trickster) of the 1940's stage play and the whimiscal 1950 movie "Harvey" with James Stewart. Taken off guard, I ask him, "Harvey, who?" and knowing quite well he is not talking about a Rabbit. He's actually asking about a news photographer from another newspaper whom I am not familiar with at all. But I know who our "Harvey" is!
So here I am doing my job as a newspaper reporter and in a subliminal way this deeper material enters into a meeting at a police station. Why there? Police investigate patterns and motives in tracking down crime, tracking down the Who and the Where. This particular evening they honored a DETECTIVE. As Encounter Explorers, we have taken on the role of detectives ourselves, tracking down who is interacting with us.
It appears that this question, "Where Is HARVEY?" was planted by the WHO from an Unknown WHERE.
IF a radio telescope in a SETI project picks up a REPEATABLE INTELLIGENT SIGNAL, it will have a LOCATION. We have that signal, in a very different form...but there s no identifable location.
OURS IS NON-LOCAL...AND THAT IS THE CHIEF CLUE HERE. Nonlocality has a lot to do with quantum physics, synchronicities and the holographic universe and mind, and explains much of our Happenings presented here.
There is a definate INTENT at play here, delivered in delberate circumstances and context. At work here is a degree of UNCERTAINITY, of not being sure, of quantum ambiguity. That sign on the R subway train "BE SURE You Are On The RIGHT TRACK" indicates that ambiguity of the Trickster At Play.
"Where Is HARVEY?" Where Are WE?

NEW YORK CITY, NY, Saturday, March 24, 2001 --- After dropping off notices about SPACE's first Mini-Conference on April 1st, I awaited a bus on Fifth Avenue. Several minutes passed with no bus in sight, so I decided to walk three blocks over to catch a bus on Lexington Avenue, which would get me closer to my next destination.
I wound my way over across East 39th Street, crossed Madison Avenue South to the block heading to Park Avenue South, a pleasant tree-lined block, filled with many 19th Century homes and buildings, like those in the illustration here.
I was surprised to see a building with a purple awning down the stairs and over the sidewalk with the words, "WILLIAMS CLUB." Not exactly a meaningful coincidence, I thought, since there was no context nor location. I paused, took immediate note of the time, 1:24 p.m. (on 3./24) and the address, 24 East 39th Street--- a minor "sync" of three "24s."
I then noticed the building two doors down at 28 East 39th Street. It was the C.G. Jung Center, the center devouted to Dr. Carl Jung, the psychologist known as "the father of SYNCHRONICTIES," who coined the word in a book in the 1950's.
It is a center I have visited in the past, (I have been fascinated with Jung for 40 years) but had not been passed it for well over a year, so I was unaware of the Williams Club proximty. My heart raced and I actually said, "WOW!" and thought, "A major synchronicity, once again unexpectedly, has just happened, and is perfectly placed. There seemed to be a reason the bus was late on Fifth Avenue, like that White Rabbit being 'late'." I was actually trembling.
Another WILLIAMS joins the "Club of Williams Synchronicities" right next to the Carl Jung Center, of All Places!
*** *** ***
WOW! = Williams, Oh Williams?
(March 28, 2001)
Gary H. in England, known by researchers there as a magnet for synchronicities, responded on March 27 to my e-mail with even more WILLIAMS links. A friend asked what's happening with our episodes and Gary informed him of The Williams Club experience.
The friend checked out a website called nysearch.com and find out information about The Williams Club, learning that it was the New York City home of the Williams College Alumni Association.
The friend then noted that the nysearch, com website editor is "WILLIAMS B." He then checked out the New Yorker magazine on the website. The featured cover story in the current issue, dated April 2, had an article by an ALEX WILLIAMS, on how men mask their inner feelings by being focused on the outer ego self-- vanity. The magazine cover shows a figure of the famous statue of "The Thinker."
When Gary's friend asked him if there was relevence, Gary replied, "The answer is yes...it is about getting in touch with the feminine part of man, that intuitive, instinctive part most men ignore."
Now Gary emphasized that WILLIAMS , now with The Williams Club-Carl Jung connection, and, in his friend's search for information about The Williams Club he stumbles upon A. WILLIAMS and WILLIAMS B., that our communicators may be pointing us to A real-life WILLIAMS, of which we have many, such as Gibbs Wiiliams of synchronistic studies or Walter Williams of SETV.
A Williams who may Be an actual person or real point of reference who may be instrumental in giving our persistent and consistent Breakthrough, with its undeniable synchronistic labyrinth, support and validation to move the Communication from the Inner Spaces of Human Experience into the Outer Spaces of the World and Universe.
And, oh wow, what an elegant universe!

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Sunday, April 8, 2001 -- Before going to bed last night I watched the opening credits of a dramatic 1945 movie and notice the big letters of two names, WILLIAM A. and B. (re: Gary's recent e-mail about A. William & William B.) ----. This morning I turn on the TV and there's a movie scene of a alien ("Supergirl") meeting her first Earth creature, a RABBIT. Okay, that's stretching.
My Sunday, with a friend, is then one of Spring flower shows and a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the "Vermeer and the Delft School" exhibit, about the famous early 17th Century Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer and other artists "of light" of the then new illuminist movement in the old Dutch city of Delft.
At the museum's entrance there are two huge banners side-by-side about two exhibits, one on Vermeer and the other on Age of Enlightenment artist WILLIAM Blake. No sync involved here. We enjoyed the Vermeer exhibit immensely, engaged in deep discussion of the marvelous artwork.
ON THE SUBWAY TRAIN
I happened to choose a classic favorite book of mine to read on my subway trip. It was "SYNCHRONICITY -- The Bridge Between Matter and Mind," a 1987 book by British-born F. David Peat, who worked with physicist David Bohm while in London where he developed a deep interest in Carl Jung.
On the way home I am reading on page 26 (in Chapter One- The Physicist and the Psychologist) about one of the important synchronicities that pushed Jung into a deeper study of the subject.
The incident happened on APRIL FIRST, which occured to me as a connection to our recent April 1st-April Fool's Day Episode in February with the question about moving time forward or backward. Only the reference here, in the book, was to April 1st being "April Fish Day" in many European countries.
Reading on to page 31 there was a reference to VERMEER. I was startled about the amazing, and meaningfull, coincidence, happening on this day, of all days! And referring to the crux of our discussion of the artwork while in the museum.
"Around the middle of the the sixteenth century, Vermeer and other painters working in Holland had become interested in the interior nature of light, in its effects on entering rooms, windows, and tiny cracks and its transformation on passing through through colored glass. At this same time, Isaac Newton was using a prism exploring the composition of light as it entered a small hole in the shutters of his Cambridge room."
Peat was describing the convergance of art and science, through separate discoveries at the same time, often without one knowing of the other, as a property of synchronicity. This was explored in a 1990's book by California doctor Leonard Shlain in a very thoughful book, "Art & Physics: Parallel Visions in Space, Time & Light."
Then, in my amazement, I thought, within the first page or two of Peat's book, there Must Be a reference to a WILLIAMS, if the pattern of this Breakthrough holds.
On page 1 Peat looks first at "those rare flashes of insight that suggest a deeper reality lying beyond the world of appearances," sighting two examples, the first an insight by T. E. Lawrence, "Lawrence of Arabia."
Right after that, on top of page 2, there is a quote by Wordsworth. Peat leaves out Wordsworth's first name, which, of course, is WILLIAMS. The pattern has become predictable which has been noticed by us before --- but we held back on actually saying it. So, there is an Absolute Scientific Process at work here.
Then, within this space, there is an indirect connection to Dr. John Mack and the whole UFO phenomenon. Dr. Mack won his Pulitzer Prize for his in-depth study of T.E. Lawrence, his 1977 book, "A Prince of Our Disorder."
We rest our case and leave the conclusions to other researchers, if they care at all, and to you, dear website visitors.

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Monday, April 9, 2001 -- While waiting at Third Avenue and Ninth Sreet for a bus back to the newspaper office after an interview I did for an article, I was looking north on the avenue for a bus. In the distance, just over a mile away, is the huge skyscaper, the famous Brooklyn landmark, the Williamsburg Savings Bank building with its large Big Ben-type Clock Tower.
It is within a few blocks of the Collision Theatre Company's office on South Oxford Street (they created and performed "The Abduction Project" play about alien visitations in March) and near (and between) the Flying Saucer Coffee & Tea Bar on Atlantic Avenue.
While on a news assignment within two blocks of the skyscaper in February I took photos of the beautiful building against a clear blue sky. Upon development of the film, a disc-shaped, pure white spot appeared near the clock tower which appeared to be a UFO. Further examination proved it to be a "dust particle" on the negative. (yet fitted in with Dr. Suess's "Horton Hears A Who," about a planet the size of a dust particle. That was fresh in my experience then after seeing "Suessical The Musical.")
Now today (on April 9th) I thought it would be nice if a real UFO appeared over the building, but that cannot happen by Making A Wish. At That Very Exact Moment a large whitish-silver disc, clearly visible, suddenly appeared out of the blue directly over "the Williamsburg!"
It proceeded westward, moving like a falling leaf horizontally and looking more like a moving Oval. It then changed to a bright RED color, looking like a flying EASTER EGG!
Mylar balloon? UFO? Not sure. I went quickly into my Barnes & Noble bag and took out my Nikon camera as the object started to head out of sight. Using the 80-mm. Zoom Lens, I snapped two quick photos just as it suddenly then vanished while in flight.
After the photos were developed later in the day, I checked the two with a strong magnifying glass. The first one shows a dark, slightly wavy thin, long line where the object was seen. A second photo also shows the same line, but fading, as if through the sky itself. These "dark squiggles" did not resemble the moving Oval object that I clearly saw.
The photos need further analysis, obviously, and may show something more explainable. BUT, there is still the place of the sighting:
-- precisely over the a building with the name WILLIAMS in it...
-- and it being between the Collision Theatre's office and the Flying Saucer cafe...
-- and the Clock Tower of the Williamsburg SAVINGS Bank, bringing in the question of Time throughout our Breakthrough (as in Savings Time, etc.)...
-- and where the members of the theatre ensemble had their mysterious encounter with a man, with RED lettering on his jacket, as they entered the subway next to the WILLIAMSburg Savings Bank building (on Sept,. 21, 2000)....
.....ALL raising PROFOUND QUESTIONS about the Nature of Reality, the Texture of Experience and the Shape of Contact.
Along with where I was -- at THIRD and NINTH -- and the time of the sighting -- just about THREE
p.m. --- is quite a synchronicity in itself, considering the episodes of a series of three sets of three knocks in connection with Whitley Strieber's "proof" offered in his book, "Breakthrough," and the whole question of staged UFO sightings.
More to come?

By Harold Egeln with Gary H.
Wednesday, April 11, 2001 -- This evening I get an e-mail from Gary H. in England regarding my alert e-mailed yesterday to him and others within SPACE and the UFO research community regarding the latest Breakthrough developments.
He excitedly informs me of his experiences of Monday, April 9 when he traveled to a place near Norwich to give a talk on "Sacred Geometry." There he notices that another speaker on the group's flyer, who spoke in March, is Montague Keen, one of the author's of "The Scole Experiment," a book about scientific research into life after death.
It is a book he picked-up a few months ago while after a vacation trip to Trinidad. At the time he was startled when he turned to Chapter Eight and saw a reference to the Scole Experimental Group's "Project ALICE," with the authors taking that from Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass."
That was noticed on Chapter Eight ("Video Experiment") which Gary connected with the SPACE website Page Eight about the Breakthrough and references to "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland" and "Looking Glass." And the chapter began with the Bibical quote, "In my Father's house there are any mansions."
In his talk to the group on April 9th, Gary H. ends it with a discussion of coincidences and refers the group to the SPACE Breathrough webpages 8 & 9. (Now numbered different.) He gets home, opens up his e-mail and sees my message about the latest developments of April 8th which will tie-in with his of April 9th -- (numbers which, by-the-way, coincide with the Breakthough pages here).
He urges me to find the Scole book:
"Why? Because of the way my path and that of Montague Keen almost crossed," Gary H. says. "I open it (the Scole book) and flick to what I think are pages one and two (as you did on a hunch in the "Synchronicity" book by Peat), just after the Forward, but it is Acknowledgements and Introduction."
"Yet the first thing my eyes hit is the name PETER (Peat) WILLIAMS on page one, followed by C.G. JUNG on page two!!!" Gary H. writes, then referring to his Trinidad episode.
FROM PROJECT OZMA TO PROJECT ALICE
---- April 11 & 13, 2001
"'IT' has re-made a connection and added to the whole mass of coincidences in One Quantum Leap," Gary H. writes. "You bet 'IT' is trying to get a WILLIAMS, better still, a brace of Williams'es.What will happen if they are linked on a circuit?"
On April 13, in an e-mail, Gary H. notes other "Alice In Wonderland" connections...
** A. William and William B. are like a Tweedledum and Tweedledee...
** The Mad Hatter is like the April Fool...
** "The Scole Hole" -- a place where the Scole Group did its Scole Experiments -- is like Alice's Wonderland's "Rabbit Hole."
** And, may I add, The March Hare is our Rabbit marching on and on and on...
As Lorie Barne notes in this e-mail of April 13th:
While searching through 350 photos for a Broadway play she was in in 1953, about 80 percent of the photos have Rabbits in them.
"We've been given an INVITATION TO INVESTIGATE," writes Gary, noting a chapter by that title in the Scole Experiment book.
That is what we are eager to find out as we move forward with this ongoing communication, a WOW! signal that keeps on repeating, just like SETI hopes for, as necessary for confirmation...but not in this form without benefit of radio telescopes!!
