THE JOURNEY THROUGH "WONDERLAND" CONTINUES....

Saturday, APRIL 28, 2001.....

New York City, -- At a street fair on Eighth Avenue in the Manhattan Chelsea neighborhood, Harold Egeln and a friend are attracted to a display of marionette's for sale. Seeing a "space alien" puppet, Egeln steps into the display, supported by metal poles, where the puppets are hanging from overhead bars. Directly behind him is a rabbit marionette.

A sudden gust of wind comes up from out of nowhere, gale force at that corner, nearly knocking down the display with all its puppets. Egeln is between the space alien and rabbit marionette's as the wind blows furiousily, as the display's owners grab the poles to keep it all from crashing down. The wind suddenly calms down as fast as it starting blowing. It was not a windy day at all.

He leaves his friend off at a bus stop by West 23rd Street. The bus shelter displays, of course, a large NesQuick chocolate drink ad with the bunny. Walking towards Greenwich Village, Egeln, on West 16th Street (Budd Hopkins lives a block west), notices two blue rabbits spray-painted on a Post Service brown mail storage box. The rabbits are facing one another.

"(Edgar Allen) Poe is remembered as a tortored poet and brilliant novelist who examined the dark side of the human psyche. (he wrote the first mystery novel). What is not generally known is that Poe had an intense interest in the philosophical debates regarding the nature of reality," writes Leonard Shlain in his remarkably thoughTful book "ART & PHYSICS: PARALLEL VISIONS IN SPACE, TIME & LIGHT."

Poe, Shlain writes, describes the concept of the relativity of space and time, "sixty years before Einstein," and talks of the expanding universe, Shlain writes, "a concept, crucial to astrophysics, almost a full century before it became generally accepted by the astrophysicists themselves."

In the next paragraph Shlain talks about Jonathan Swift and "Gulliver's Travels" anticipating scientific discoveries way before astronomers made them.

Shlain's book is a huge volume about such coincidental para;;e;'s between art and physics, between artist works and scientifice research, often without one knowing of the other. The art conveys concepts in physics that are being found or will be discovered.

Sunday, MAY 6, 2001....

Egeln and a friend are on West 95th Street on Manhattan's Upper West Side, looking at the old early 19th Century house where the famous writer Edgar Allen Poe once lived. That is by the southeast corner of West 95th Street and est End Avenue.

Suddenly his friend says, "William!" Egeln, puzzled, turns and sees an apartment building right across the street called "THE WILLIAM."

They return to the Upper Broadway Spring Festival, and across from Symphony SPACE (a famous performance hall) run into composer and SPACE newsletter columnist Alan White, fulling a wish that Egeln has to run into him. White, at Egeln's request, sings the words to a song he wrote called"SPACE Explorers."

On Monday, May 14, 2001 Gary H. in England e-mails Egeln about a UFO-related conference in the USA featuring nine speakers, three of them with the name WILLIAMS...William Thomas, William Lyne and Brian William Hall.

Soon after seeing the e-mail, Egeln reads an article in the New York "Daily News" about a tragic event at a UFO "Rave Party" in upper Manhattan, in which a 100 youths party late at niht dressed as space aliens and try to make contact with UFOs, playing the theme to the movie "Close Encounters" and UFO songs.

No one in the local UFO research community nor Egeln are aware of such events, which have their dangers. Unfortunately a teenage is followed and beaten by three party interlopers. The victim's first name is WILLIAM.

THE YE OLDE VILLAGE FAIRE INCIDENT

Saturday, MAY 19, 2001

New York City, -- "I saw five rabbit figures in an optical shop in my town the other day," says a friend to Harold Egeln, while they are at the annual Ye Olde Village Faire on Christopher Street in Greenwich Village.

Just after that, on Christopher near Barrow Street, Egeln sees a table of antiques and old items, a trumpet in a black case being the draw, making him think of the "Trumpet Episode" at nearby Sheridan Square of 1993 (See websites DREAM page).

Then, to his surprise, he sees on the table behind the trumpet a TOY ROBOT, making him think of space...a red EASTER BASKET filled with toy vehicles...a large CLOCK set at 11:25, a box of "Old TYME" seasonings under the robot....and a table of old cameras.

Across the narrow street is a table and display for the Orangatang Foundation (in front of a hair salon), which strikes him as he had a dream that morning about carrying a baby gorilla or oraganatang to a festival).

Stepping onto the sidewalk to snap photographs of the scene, a handsome young man dressed in black approaches the table with the trumpet, robot and Easter basket and examines the cameras.

After that, Egeln notices RABBIT figurines in a window of a store, filled with native American items, called "Sticks, Stones & Bone." There are five -- not seven -- rabbits in the window. Why five and not seven?

Egeln muses on the old Greek mythical trickster, Hermes, the messenger of sychronicity and the winged traveler, and thnks of St. Christopher, Catholic patron saint of travelers, and the toy cars in the Easter basket.

Later, at the Ninth Avenue International Food Festival Egeln sees a blimp flying towards the Hudson River, watching it from West 55th Street. Within minutes, at exactly 5:05, under the gray clouds a black balloon-like object appears behind the blimp. As the blimp leaves, an idenical black balloon-like object appears. Mylar balloons? UFOs? After moving (against the wind), they hover, rise and disappear into the clouds.

Immediately after that a man, with a boy, is seen carrying a large Crayola balloon with green space alien faces, with the large black oval eyes all over the balloon. Contact of a highly strange PLAYFUL kind!? Egeln says.

Then the number "five" in the five rabbits strikes him....55th Street at 5:05.

Between the two festivals, Egeln and his friend visited Rockefeller University on the Upper East Side, which opened its gardened grounds, lined with grove of large London Pines trees, for the public just for that afternoon, on the science and medical univserity's 100th anniversary.

Inside a university art gallery there is a large, dark painting of TRAINS in the woods at night, under a full Moon. The painting is called "The Watcher" by Paul Devaux.

It was inspired, a text says, "by the Freudian theory of dreams." Of course, it figures into close encounter dream experiences too, the image of trains, as also so well used in the play, "The Abduction Project" by Collision Theory this year.

All of this is rich with imagery related to the events and symbols throughout "The Breakthrough", and yet are subtle and ambigious, leaving one guessing...and wondering.

AT THE MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY WITH SCHRODINGER'S CHESHIRE RABBIT

The latest reports, as documented, with little commentary, above, illustrate a persistent challenge to we who are encounter explorers seeking empowerment within the close encounter mystery, which interfaces with our lives.

While major researchers largely ignore all this information, given openly and freely to them here, a precious few true thinkers in the scientific community are silently looking in on these reports, as connected with all associated information on this website.

This is a contour of contact and communication which is outside the mental and psychological boxes humans impose on themselves.

There is a response here by Someone from Somewhere to our desire to learn more about who is interfacing with us and this constitutes an unrecognized Breakthrough on the part of many within this field, including those among ourselves as encounter explorers. That is to be expected with "new information."

The material has caused some UFO/encounter researchers and experiencers to even dismiss us, looking at this information as discrediting SPACE as a legitmate source of information and research. This includes personal attacks, as some see this Breakthrough as one person's adventure rather than involving many people, many areas of interest and many issues confronting encounter research.

This is being delivered through a messenger image, that of the Trickster, like Hermes of ancient times, bridging the personal and universal, the subjective and the objective, and much more.

The messenger is employing science and myth, giving us images -- such as the Rabbit, as well as clocks, trains, trumpets, etc. -- that we can identify with, taking us into a wonderland world of paradoxes, with both cunning and enchantment, an amoral path into our lives.

"TIME TRANSFIXED"

In surrealist artist Rene Magritte's mysterious 1935 painting, "Time Transfixed," showing a train's steam locomotive coming through a fireplace, above with is a mantel clock and blank mirror, we have elements relating to what is reported here.

Magritte, in a letter many years ago to his biographer, Harry Totczyner, talks about why he used a locomotive:

"In order for its mystery to be evoked, another immediately familiar image without mystery -- the image of a dining room fireplace -- was joined with the image of a locomotive (thus I did not join a familiar image with a so-called mysterious image, such as a MARTIAN (our emphasis), an angel, a dragon, or some other creature erronousely thought of as 'mysterious.')..." (from Torczner's "Magritte: Ideas and Images" [Harry Abrams, NY 1977] as quoted in Leonard Shlain's "Art & Physics," Quill, NY 1991)

What is being reported here is related to science, depth psychology and ancient, global mythology. It concerns matters that would have been of interest to famed quantum physicist Wolfgang Pauli and the great Dr. Carl Jung.

We have referred to the book, "Synchronocity: The Bridge Between Matter and Mind" by E. David Peet, who worked with physicist David Bohm in London, and there is another book, "Synchronicity, Through the Eyes of Science, Myth, and The Trickster" by Allan Combs and Mark Holland, which is referential to our experiences, presented from outside the framework of close encounters.

"The architype most important to synchroncity is the Trickster," they write (pg. xix) "...Virtually all cultures have stories involving the Trickster, most notably connected with the related ideas of creation, boundaries, and change." The Trickster central to ancient Greek culture was Hermes, the intrusive, amoral winged messenger between worlds, who emerged from the guardian tales of the ancient market places between two different and unknown villages.

The Trickster, Combs and Holland write, is an image of ambiguity and probablities, an unexpected interloper and interloper into our everyday world, making us pay attention to that which is hidden behindthe world we experience and with that which is hidden within ourselves.

The Trickster is "the boundary dweller," they say, a paradoxical patron saint both of travelers and of thieves, a "roguish enchanter," or "divine juggler of reality."

Travel, as in the Tricker's ways, Combs and Holland write, is important as a boundary journey which evokes synchronicities: ""In the experience of the authors, traveling, especially by public transportation (a plane, bus, or train) is also a strong catalyst for synchronicity...."

We, in these high strangeness episodes, as well as in dreams, certainly get our fair share of trains, planes and buses, as well as fire trucks and other modes of traveling.

The NesQuik Bunny ads on the subway train is just one example. And the episode at the Ye Olde Village Faire, placed on Christopher Street (as in St. Christopher, patron saint of travelers) and the toy vehicles inside the Easter basket, evokes these images and thoughts, united by a common theme and repeating patterns, suggested signs of a scientific principle and possible intelligent design.

 

"The hand of the Trickster may move with subtlety in our day-to-day lives, begetting synchronistic coincidences that take their place beside spotaneous thoughts, fantasies, and dream images to form entire leitmotivs of related events," write Combs and Holland (pg. 123)

Also, they observe, " Meaningful coincidences frequently involve several events whch, though radically different in form -- one may be an idea, another a physical object -- are tied together by a common pattern or theme....On a still more profound level, such themes seem bound together by a common sense of meaning." (pg. 30)

This can be preceived in the most recent episodes reported above, which also inclued a dream and "UFO sightings," and and elsewhere on Pages 8, 9 and 10.

There is also the element of wish fulfullment, as in Gary H.'s episode with the Cadbury bunny chocolate eggs, an episode that would seem nonsensical by itself or, at least, not worthy of mention....unless it was connected with other events yet to be and images with a basis in mythology and science. Gary's hunch to mention it was right on target, even though he felt he was going out on a limb!

"The Purple Wishing Mini-Egg: Here in my bunny paw I hold a Mini Egg worth more than gold, the Purple Mini Egg, you see is from the Land of Cadbury! Before you eat your chocolate treat, This special verse you should repeat: 'O Purple Wishing Egg, While I am eating you, I'm thinking of a pecial wish, Please make my wish come true!'---The Great Bunny." (from the Cadbury box)

"It would be a serious mistake to turn our backs on the notion that synchronicity might act as an agent of wish fulfillment," write combs and Holland (pg. 57), which they say is another device of the Trickster, be it a Rabbit or a man who comes into an ice cream shop between a huge street clock and a restaurant called Utopia, asking about when daylight savings ime begins.

The Ye Olde Village Faire incident involved a "Man In Black" in terms of a young man dressed in a black sweater and pants....which took place one block away from where Meryl Johnson had her mysterious encounter (Christopher & Hudso) with a dancing black man, well-dressed and very striking in appearance -- who came up to her years ago ago and said, "Meryl, we haven't forgotten about you!"

 

WHO & WHAT? HORTON (READ S.P.A.C.E.) HEARS "A WHO."

The Who and What of all this is still a mystery, but their means of communicating is not a total mystery, as they seem to be coming from a more complex level of reality than ours, operating at greater awareness.

The famous science fiction author Philip Dick, who died in the 1980's, wrote a fascinating book called "Radio Free Ablemuth," about a professor who is contacted by an alien intelligence called VALIS, a Vast Alive Living Intelligence System, communicating in non-ordinary ways.

Famous dolphin researcher John Lily in his autobiography writes about a synchronicity control center on another world arranging meaningful coincidences in his life and those of others.

Scientist and UFO researcher Jacques Vallee talks about the encounter experience as a control system interacting with humanity.

For those of us who experience this directly, it has immense impact and power, full of meaning which may escape the understanding of an outsider....or even of those within this feld of experience and research!

We are in a similiar position as anyone who reports seeing a UFO, uncovering a stealth encounter, or, like the fictional Dr. Ellie Arroway in the movie/book "Contact" by Carl Sagan, unable to convince others, except to relate our human experience of the unknown.

This is so incredibly subtle and outside a world built "on reality television" at times that no one can be blamed for dismissing it, and us, for reporting our extraordinary experiences. Presented to a newspaper reporter, such as myself, there are elements here worthy of investigation, which is why I may have been targeted, in part, for this.

Even a subtle element of the number 5, as reported in above in the events above on May 19, 2001, gets backed-up. First the five, rather than the seven rabbits, in the shop window. Then the "sighting" of the "black balloon-like objects" (I hestitate to call them UFOS) seen at 5:05 p.m. on West 55th Street enter into the equation of coincidence.

Later, reading Shlain's book, "Art & Physics," I am drawn to a chapter called "Surrealism /Relativistic Distortion" and a discussion of Giorgio de Chirico's famous 1912 painting, "Enigma of the Hour." It shows a solitary human figure by a building, on top of which is a clock, with the time being, 2:55." The 55 and fives enter the picture again!

It is the nature of this experience that ambiguity is at play and sublity is at work, enough that one can dismiss or ignore what is going on, or one can take a risk and bet that this all means something profound. The latter is what some of us think is happenning, enough so that we take a chance to report and document this ongoing "contact" of a highly strange kind.

THE DECODING WORK

In the process of decoding all this, we observe how IT operates and behaves, in a manner consistent with other aspects of close encounters, and in a manner consistent with a truly deep and extensive otherwordly intelligence, presneted in a manner to spur us on, without putting moral values as to its intent which can raise obstacles to learning. (Some say we are being "ensnared" into a trap.)

Even the PLACE of the five rabbits in the Christopher Street has an association. The shop, "Sticks, Stone & Bone" assocaites with the ancient Chinese concept going back to the Shang Dynasty of the Yellow River, circa 1700 B.C. The people used ritual oracle bones to divine happenings, a synchronistic way of perceiving reality. connected apparent unrelated events into a harmonious whole. The shop's name including the word "bone", because of the location and coincidental circumstances, may be a connective associatio with this ancient Chinese practice.

Later the "I Ching," with its synchronistic worldview, would emerge. The translater of "The Book of Changes," Hellmut WILHELM, would become known by Dr. Carl Jung, influencing Jung's study of synchronicity.

There is the amusement factor of the Trickster, as with the two black balloon-objects that appeared as the blimp was leaving. The subtle message suggested here is that the dirigible is "the mothership" and the "black balloons" are the "scout ships."

Then, right after they vanish into the clouds, we immediately see a man carrying a large (about a yard-long) balloon shaped like a Crayola crayon, pointed upward, a boy with him. The Crayola balloon, rather than just showing a specifc color, has the now-familiar image of he bulbous, bug-eyed space alien all over it, in green. A form of Contact?? Not real contact in any stretch of the word, but an imaginal form of contact created through a playful Trickster in synchronistic fashion, perhaps?

What a UFO expert or a SETI scientist make of all this? It does not fit into their box, not into their parameters of encounter research nor the array dishes of radio telescopes. And yet, this seems to be one of the many ways Contact is actually unfolding, in Highly Unexpected Ways!

It is a mark of artistic grace that in Collision Theory acting ensemble's "The Abduction Project" that a "in-between" figure appears, dressed in a trench-coat and waving a pocket watch, or appearing as a train conductor. He acts like the Trickster, the figure bridging two realities, two worlds, the intermediary at the boundaries, on the edge of reality.

It is where S.P.A.C.E. has stumbled into a very unusual Rabbit Hole and fallen through the Looking Glass, on a risky but fascinating adventure.

"Synchronicities...open the floodgates of the deeper levels of consciousness and matter, which, for a creative instant, sweep over the mind and heal the division between the internal and the external...It is the human mind operating, for a moment, in its true order and extending throughout society and nature, moving through orders of increasing subtlety, reaching past the source of mind and matter into creativity itself." -- F. Do we have in these episodes of the Breakthrough, with its "Wow!" peak experiences, a blueprint for or pathway to Transformation? Dare we ask or think that? Can these heal fragmented selves, separated by our egos from a grander reality and unity, which these episodes provide glimpses of for us? In the close encounter field, this can open us to attack or open us to new realms of exploration. Wolves and sheep are ready to pounce, but for far different reasons.

After leaving Rockefeller University, my friend returned to a public school flea market to buy an audio tape of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, "the Resurrection." To us, it had meaning in the context of the day's events and the broader picture of this Contact situation.

In a quaint English village recently, Gary H. was shopping in a store, when his wife pointed out something to him. "There's one of your rabbits!" she said. He saw a rabbit figurine resting on a hammock. As if waiting for us -- him, me, SPACE and the whole contact field (from researchers, experiencers, SETI scientists -- to move this all along.

The next day, near his work place, he spots a real live rabbit near him, the first he's actually seen in a while. Instead of hopping away in fright, as is a hare's habit, it stays still, which Gary thinks is unusual.

"The Rabbit" -- meaning our otherworldly communicators -- is waiting for Our Move, with its invitation, via the World Wide Web, to investigate and respond to its "WOW Signals" as given here and elsewhere beyond SPACE.

It is ironic that we have been blocked, since around Eastertime, on the website from making changes from page 10 (the third of four pages on the Breakthrough) and the following pages (except here), with the website "frozen" from page 10 and on. While probably a technical snag in the otherwise wonderful, amazing Web TV website technology, it may be a hint of something else at work, like that Rabbit resting on a Hammock, or the Rabbit pausing by, not running from, Gary H.

There are a whole host of questions raised by this parade of "Wow!" events since their discovery on June 12, 2000. We could be totally off-the-mark with all this, or be getting parts of it right, or we may really on to something, as a puzzled David Jacobs mentioned that if we believe we are, saying, "then go for it."

Well, we're still "on the go" with this!

We empowered encounter explorers are not unlike cosmologists and quantum physicists -- in our own way as curious humans, if not by actual scientific training -- who are now exploring the connections between the realms of Inner Space on the sub-atomic level for the physicists and Outer Space on the mega-universe level.

It's all very much like Gulliver on his travelers between the Micro and the Macro, or Alice in Wonderland being very small or very large, depending on the cookie or drink she takes. The scientific explorers of InnerSpace and of Outer Space are now, as described in a recent Springtime issue of "Astronomy," comparing notes on their separate areas of research, for there seems to be a deep connection between the micro and the macro.

Just as we explore the Inner Spaces to achieve knowledge of the Outer Spaces in this Contact Experience. The Inner is reaching to the Outer, and the Listening is Happening!

"INNER SPACE and OUTER SPACE"

The reference above is to the June 2001 issue of "Astronomy," a special issue on cosmology about "The Ultimate Cosmic Mysteries" with an introductory piece called "Inner Space and Oter Space." That is followed by articles about cosmologists and particle physicists, working in two distinct fields, as they now see what may unite "the Mego... (voyaging) to the outer reaches of the cosmos" with "the strange Lilliputian world inside atoms" as explored by "the Micronaut," as explained by writer Robert Zimmerman.

Areas covered in his article, "Inside-Out Cosmology," include a look at the tiny "alien worlds" of quarks, leptons, bosoms and other odd particles, and then looks at "parallel universes," that may exist in cold, dark matter, a mystery aspect of the universe.

In "The 8 Greatest Mysteries of Cosmology" by Mark Sincell, there is a piece on "How multidimensional is the universe?" and the cuurent search for "evidence for the fifth dimension" by looking for a graviton to leak into our 4-dimension reality (time being the 4th).

{In a close encounter in October 1993 in the Hudson Valley, encounter explorers from S.P.A.C.E. felt a tug of gravity slightly pulling them forward to an area where 'a being' had made its presence known. Could that be evidence of other dimensional effects?}

There is a discussion of "cosmic strings" which could make for an 11-dimensional universe.

 

An understanding of cosmology, particle physics, quantum mechanics and related scientific and astronomical topics are almost essential in decoding the workings of aspects of close encounters, which is why we make these references, associating them with our documented reports of extraordinary experences.

Mutually, what we report may give insight to the research of cosmologists and particle physicists, through the vehicle of human experience, of what there should be a science.

(NOTE: "Astronomy" is an excellent publication which I've been reading since its start in 1973, along with its cousin, "Sky & Telescope," published since the 1930's.--H. Egeln)

When Wolfgang Pauli's life was falling apart in 1928, at age 29, he had a powerful "dream of the World Clock," as reported in the marvelous book "Synchronicity -- the Bridge Between Matter and Mind" by Peat. Pauli sought the help of Dr. Carl Jung, who felt that Pauli could be cured by a look into his unconscious and its dreams.

It was Pauli's dream of "a World Clock" with its "geometrical and numerical symbols of wholeness" Peat writes (pg. 19) that allowed Jung to uncover "a deep inner symmetry...a dynamic pattern...illustrated in symoblic times by the early Gnostics, the alchemists of the Middle Ages, the Taoists of ancient China."

This all helped "Jung confirm his findings on archetypes, dynamic forces and mosaics of energy within the collective unconscious which are revealed symbolically through dreams, fantasties, works of art and myths."

"With the encouragement of Pauli, Jung was now able to explore the question of a hidden symmetry within the universe from the perspective both of physics and psychology. It was also as a result of Pauli's promptings that Jung was eventually to publish his meditations on synchronicity," Peat writes (pg. 21).

We mention all this because it relates to ways to explore, research and gain understanding of aspects of close encounters, such as the episodes of high strangeness which make for "the Breakthrough" as well as the crucial aspects of dreams in close encounter experience.

If we are truly dealing with an interface contact with otherwordly intelligence, there should be glimpses into the patterns being discovered by cosmologists and quantum phyicists with the CONTACT experience, bringing into the equation the dynamic force of living consciousness as studied by psychologists and noetic scientsts.

Indeed, we think this is found all throughout our reports on "The WOW! Signal" and in other aspects of close encounter contact, and in the rich documentation with visitation and UFO report research. Connections are being missed that should not be ignored nor dismissed.

In these ways, the decoding can take place.

UNSEEN

So, having said that scientists at two ends of the spectrum, the cosmologists and the particle physicists, are taking a path that can be applied to the study and experience of the Contact Phenomenon, where are we going with this? And is anyone really paying attention to this information? And does anyone truly care?

Two nights ago a friend rescued a large plush toy rabbit from the basement, which was being thrown out, even though it's in perfect shape.

Then tonight (June 1, 2001) he gives me a post card he has had since October 1994, having noted that on the front, with the address, is a sticker of an orange RABBIT wearing goggles flying a green bi-plane.

The post card, on the reverse side, has one word, in white, across a black background, which reads, in small letters:

And, tucked in the bottom left corner are the white outlines of three tiny fishes pointed upward, next to a year, 1994. The postmark on the white colored address side of the postcard is Oct. 3, 1994, just one day before October 4, which marks the 37th anniversary of the official start of "The Space Age" with the launching into orbit of the first earth satellite into orbit, Sputnik in 1957.

Here we have an event rich in meaning to me, relating to both the personal events in my life (which no one would care about), to the universal and to the consistent contours of contact as conveyed in the context of this overall "Breakthrough" episodes.

Strange things are happening.

 

Associations With the "UNSEEN" ---


The UNSEEN is what we've been dealing with, as in the Unseen Intelligences apparently orchestrating this strange, unexpected contact and communication. We can speculate endlessly as to their agendas, motives and purposes, and about their intentions, and place values on all this if it is for our benefit or not.

The UNSEEN is what concerns scientists. "Now it is about what cannot be seen," wrote the science reporter in a recent issue of The New York Times, with astrophysicists realizing that what we see is "barely more than flecks of froth on a stormy sea of dark matter," as they study the "Astronomy of the Invisible."

It is what concerned the author of the classic fictional book "The Little Prince," a French pilot who wrote about a mysterious child from a very tiny world who encounters a lost pilot, telling him that it is what is invisible that really matters.

When this post card was given to me this night, our SPACE website was off-line for a whole day, unpublished, "no longer visible" to anyone on the web. I took it off-line the night before, making it UNSEEN to anyone on the Internet, frankly embarassed that others, especially those in the UFO research field, would consider me a fool -- or worse -- for documenting these Breakthrough events. And that the documentation would harm S.P.A.C.E. and our efforts to think through and learn what may be really be happening and how it is happening.

So, I get a MESSAGE delivered on an old post card with a sticker of RABBIT flying an airplane with the word "UNSEEN" on the back, and a postmark which associates with the word "space."

The rabbit is TRAVELING, in its bi-plane, bringing another association to THE TRICKSTER, who is also THE TRAVELER between what is seen and what is not seen, as discussed in accounts given above.

The message comes the night after we had an exploration (support group) meeting here in New York City. On my way to the meeting after work, I took the subway into Manhattan (riding in a NesQik Chocolate Bunny car), and I changed subways by walking through busy Grand Central Station.

Coming down an escalator and rushing past me was a man who reminded me of Dr. Gibbs A. WILLIAMS, the psychoanalytical psychotherapist who gives workshops on SYNCHRONICITIES.

And this incident happened in the context of a Grand TRAIN station, as the TRAIN is an image associated with stealth encouners, as so well played out in Collision Theory's recent play, "The Abduction Project." Of course, when I boarded the East Sude subway line to get to our SPACE gathering, I rode the NesQuik Bunny car.

Then, back to the "UNSEEN" post card, and now its three tiny FISHES. Dr. Carl Jung's investigations into synchronicity and ascausal events were prompted by his own such experiences, one being with the fish motif.

While engaged in the investigation of the Fish Motif, a patient came to Jung's office and happened to show him fish symbols. That was on an April 1st, known in many European countries as Fish Day (otherwise also known as April Fools Day. Within the next few days, he had a patient come to him with a dream about a fish, and Jung had a few more fish experiences.

"Jung himself gives prominence to this pattern of fish occurrances. But to many readers they will seem to be nothing more than mere coincidences. Their importance, for Jung, appeared to come from the strong sense of meaning they had for him," writes F. David Peat in "Synchronicity-- The Bridge Between Matter and Mind." (pg. 27)

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED HERE, ONCE AGAIN, with the "UNSEEN" message and all its associations.

I am only one "nobody" in a world of billions of people who just happens to be exploring my own encounters with a mysterious Unknown, and along with others through the umbrella of SPACE. And my awareness, always sharp, is on high volume. It is also my training and talent as a journalist to LISTEN deeply, enabling me to report something that should be noticed. Even though most people do not care about these reports.

The BREAKTHROUGH events must be seen in the context of all other experiences reported on the SPACE website, for this does not occur in isolation through these Alice In Wonderland-like reports. A wholistic approach, with critical thinking employed at all times, is necessary to understand and gain knowledge, steps that can EMPOWER individuals exploring their close encounters.

A "CHESHIRE CAT" POST-SCRIPT.... (


The very specific date of the post-mark on the "UNSEEN" post card, October 3, 1994, besides its association wth the following day, October 4, the anniversary of the Space Age, refers specifically to a date with personal meaning.

It is the birthday, October 3, 1957, of a person I knew and admired at that time in 1994 who was famous for her talent and gift to communicate "telepathically" with animals, specically cats and dogs, -- true non-human intelligences.

Here we have another very specific and precise association with NHI communication, this with animals, including cats, and we have our RABBIT, an image communicating to us a Contact involving Non-Human Intelligence.

When one really looks at this here, and at all the material on Pages 8, 9, 10, in the context of other information given on this website, it causes a sense of wonder and enchantment in a few of us who experience this (with a measure of caution, too). This does not make us "special" or "chosen," but it is yet another way of transmitting knowledge of a far deeper reality behind our existence and its vibrant hidden, enigmatic inhabitants, whether from outer space, inner space or somewhere else entirely altogether.

Indeed, given this post-script, the CHESHIRE CAT truly Grins! ......... )

And what also connects here is another association with the airplane our orange RABBIT is flying (besides the Trickster as traveler link).

The person who "talks to the animals" whose birthdate is October 3rd became publically known because of "finding" a lost cat on an airplane! Not only that, but within a year that gifted person became an airline steward. And here we have an animal, our rabbit, in an airplane. (The person, at the time, dismissed outright any meaningful coincidences as being valid.)

The specificity of such a highly strange synchronicity as reported right here gets downright spooky and profound.

The post card was discovered in a box tonight. A Pandora's Box has been opened!

THE HAUNTING CALL OF THE NONHUMAN TO THE HUMAN


Another post-script about the message of the postcard's postmark. The postmark is from the city of BUFFALO in upstate New York.

Once more we have an association with an animal, a specific animal with great meaning to us. About a month ago Gary H. in England, Roberta the Pensacola Beach Lady and SPACE South director, and I were in touch about a sheep that was found alive in England after a slaughter of farm animals as the British government fought the spread of the foot-and-mouth and Mad Cow diseases. The story of the little animal's survival and rescue by a boy inspired many people.

And made us think of the WHITE BUFFALO, a Native American legend and story. The birth an extremely rare white buffalo calf in the Autumn of 1994 was heralded as a "Sign" by Native Americans and made national news. It was around the time of this postmark from BUFFALO, dated Oct. 3, 1994.

The birth of the white buffalo calf generated much discussion at the time and was rekindled last month by our e-mail communications between England, Florida and New York.

Now, beautifully presented and artistically crafted, comes this "unseen" postcard out of a box, hidden until an appropriate time. And filled with Great Meaning to us encounter explorers here, with the Buffalo fitting right in. I wrote about this in a column called "Eco-Frontier" in a newspaper called Downtown at the time.

We humans are only one lifeform among a host of nonhuman life forms, consciousnesses and intelligences, and we view the world and cosmos through our human experienence, which is not the experience of all cosmic reality.

In "The Communion Letters," a remarkable book edited by Whitley and Anne Strieber in 1997, (HarperPrism, NY) letters were culled from many thousands written in response to Strieber's books, giving a wide range of human experiences to the encounter phenomenon.

"This book of letters could conceivably be the first true communication from another world that has ever been recorded. It does not offer a conventional message, but something much more arresting: the transmission of its meanng through the lives of the people who and these experiences and the determination to write them down," the Striebers write in the introduction.

In what they describe as "the haunting call," they end the book with a discussion of what it may all imply: "Even more consistent than the symbolic content of the letters is their strangeness, which is so extraordinary that it seems almost to place these narratives beyond the scope of the human imagination."

If the "visitors", they note, do not act like us nor how science fiction presents aliens, but they relate to us, whoever they may be and from where=ever they may come, through symbols..."and generating impressions that are profoundly discordant -- but also coherent, for they turn out also to be profoundly meaningful."

Just like the information given here, making us THINK and WONDER and MARVEL......

WONDERLAND'S RE-ENCHANTMENT EFFECT

Sunday, June 3, 2001, New York City, NY -- The wonders never cease. This beautiful Spring Sunday was devoted to enjoying the outdoors with two friends at two city streets, one on Irving Place, on which storyteller Washington Irving lived early in the 19th Century, and a larger one on Second Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

My friend who found the "unseen" post card, after we got off the subway, walked across East 39th Street, and down the block where The WILLIAMS CLUB and the C.JUNG CENTER are. Walking right in front of the WILLIAMS Club I notice our friend who we are to meet at the coffee shop for our meal, and, coming upon him, mentioned wehere we have met him!

Then, a block away, we had our late morning breakfast at a favourite coffee shop. Ed, from the SPACE group, joined us, so I could give him a videotape and a book, and he gave me some videotapes. Ed is reading British UFO researcher Jenny Randles book, "Starchildren," which has a reference to Whitley Strieber's stealth encounter experience on a train, trains being an important symbol in encounter dreams and experiences. Ed is doing research on his now. My two friends and I leave Ed at the coffee shop at noon to enjoy the outdoors.

Later, at a Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Yorkville, I see a Bristish magazine, "Quest and Modern Astronomy," and come across an article entitled, "THE SCIENTIST, THE ALIEN AND A VERY STRANGE TRAIN."

It concerns a stealth encounter that goes back to September 1957 of one James Cook in CHESHIRE, England (making me think of our Cheshire Cat!). From the experience, the scientist is inspired by a "UFO propulsion" system that concerns ionization and magnetism, forming the basis for the concept of high-tech train ion-propelled magnetic trains.

So, here we have immediate elements and associations: Randles, Trains, Cheshire, all clustered in with the most recent accounts.

Retracing the Second Avenue Fair back from 86th to 68th Street, at the northeast corner of East 68th Street there is a toy store. In the window is a large CLOCK with ALICE IN WONDERLAND figures, including the WHITE RABBIT. It was on East 68th Street, down the block, where I used to house-sit and took care of the dog, while the homeowners were away in Florida, on a few ocassions just a few years ago.

After dinner at Peter's Restaurant, we went to the building across the street, Bethany Memorial Reformed Church and school, where the Mahler Symphony No, 2 tape was bought between the time of the Ye Olde Village Fair Incident and the "black balloons & Crayola" incident on Ninth Avenue & West 55th Street two weeks before. Here we get another WILLIAM, specifcally a Rev. WILLIAM Hanouser, the pastor of the church. Yet another REV. WILLIAM, similar to Lorie Barnes' meeting with a real REV. WILLIAMS last Summer, setting off the rhyme in her head about "Father William" from Alice In Wonderland.

One block away, at Julia Richman High School, in December 1994, I first met Dr. John Mack, giving a talk on his book, "Abductions."

Now this is admittedly all minor connections. But within the hour it would all come together, producing another Cluster of Synchronicity, with the unexpected Trickster element at play.

We three boarded the M31 bus on York Avenue across from Rockefeller University, where two weeks ago I noticed the painting of night trains in the woods based on dreams.

The bus turns east on 57th Street, passing the area of UFO sightings from the mid-1990's. We get off at Ninth Avenue and West 57th Street to await a southbound bus on Ninth Avenue. There is a long wait for the bus.

I look across the street at a mini-park at the Southeast corner of 57th Street and Ninth Avenue. On a small green hill we notice a cottontail RABBIT playing on the hill, on a long leash! It is the first Live Rabbit I've seen since the one that hopped passed the Sundial at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden in April 2000, except for rabbits in pet stores around this past Easter.

I take several photos of it, from across the street and then close-up when I hurried over to the small park. The rabbit looked directly at me as I took its picture. It was a beige rabbit with a white cottontail.

It struck me that the location we were at is two blocks north of the "blimp-black balloons-green alien faces on the Crayola" incident of two weeks before on Ninth Avenue and West 55th Street! Of all places to see a Real Live RABBIT!

It is associated with many things, including our Orange Rabbit in a Green Plane sticker on the post card. It is all something like out of Alice In Wonderland. And the person who communicated with animals that I mentioned in reference to associations with that post card was born and raised n Switzerland, Dr. Carl Jung's home.

What an Elegant Univeres and a Wonderland World we live in when the boundaries of SpaceTime are crossed and merged........

"THE LITTLE PRINCE" MEETS ALICE.....

There is so much to this day's Cluster of Synchronicities that I forgot to mention another thing at the elegant Toy Shop on Second Avenue at East 68th Street.

In the window with the ALICE IN WONDERLAND CLOCK there, in the upper lefthand corner, was the book "THE LITTLE PRINCE" and a doll of the boy-alien Little Prince.

Those items are not unusual, by themselves, for a toy shop.... But that they should come together and be seen so soon after the happenings of the last few days is unusual in itself. And The Little Prince being an alien (in human form) and Alice in an alien Wonderland. It is through The Eyes of a Child that we enter into Contact.

And it all fits into the Pattern of this extraordinary communication from an Unseen Wonderland, which our Rabbit has lead us to and through and brought into our world.

To see that happy live RABBIT hopping around, in a context, location and time (and with two witnesses) with all this is being reported here is True Magic, and reminds me of an excellent book by psychologist Morris Berman, "The Re-Enchantment of the World," which I read several years ago.

For almost a minute that Rabbit stared right at me, as I snapped my camera at it, making EYE CONTACT.

SOMEONE, SOMETHING is Reaching Out to Us in highly strange but consistent and repeatable ways in undeniable patterns that compose CONTACT and COMMUNICATION with a complex and profound reality.

And it's been almost one year since we first got the insight that revealed the "WOW!" Signal being Transmitted to us, between England and America. And there is no end to the Repeatable Patterns, delivered in an artistic, theatrical form that is truly amazing, enchanting and beautiful in its ongoing delivery, through the human experience.

MAD HATTER'S TEA PARTY


COINCIDENTALLY, today, of all days (June 3, 2001) there was a "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" at the world famous Plaza Hotel at Central Park South, only a few blocks from our live RABBIT experience. The party took place in the hotel's Palm Court restaurant from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., where children and their families were invited for afternoon tea.

Alice, the White Rabbit, the Red Queen and the Mad Hatter entertained the guests by performing a preview of dances from the New York Theater Ballet's "ALICE IN WONDERLAND FOLLIES," which will be presented on weekends from June 8 through June 17 at the Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street.

Now, in our Wonderland world, notice the address, 55, our 55 once again as in West 55th Street balloons incident and our five rabbits in the Sticks, Stones and Bones shop window.

Our Rabbit experience, just about six blocks from the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, (and capping the day's episodes) took place as the party at the Plaza Hotel was finishing, making for the perfect tie-in.

Tonight at home I watched the Walt Disney animated version of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, on video, made 50 years ago in 1951.

OPERATION WONDERLAND OR JABBERWOCKY??

At the end of the "Alice In Wonderland" video of Walt Disney's 1951 animated feature movie, there are two TV programs from 1951 just before the movie premiered.

One is "Operation Wonderland," filmed at Disney Studios. To get around to his buildings, Walt Disney rides a miniature steam TRAIN, sitting on the engine, as the train tracks of his mini-railroad wind around the grounds and into the buildings where "Alice In Wonderland" is in production. The show was originally broadcast on TV on June 14, 1951.

This is followed by a TV show broadcast on March 18, 1951, as "Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians" (a famous chorus at that time), do a show featuring the songs and actors from "Alice In Wonderland."

The TV show opens up with a picture a large Sante Fe steam locomotive. During the show the singers perform songs from the movie. As the show ends, the set darkens, and over the words "General Electric" (the show's sponsor), the scene where the chorus is sitting around the Mad Hatters Tea Party, now dark, has two lighted areas, which just happen to look like two large, slanted teardrop-shaped alien-like eyes.

The startling unintended but coincidental effect creates an image similar to the haunting face of a "visitor" as seen on the book cover jacket of Whitley Strieber's "Communion."

The narrative of today's events have a planned and scripted-like quality about them, even makng these elements of the TRAIN in the two 1951 TV programs and the haunting "VISITOR'S EYES" effect, both associated with Alice In Wonderland, and with the Breakthrough events as reported on these pages, part of the fabric of this highly strange Contact Breakthrough.

Is this "Operation Wonderland," using the TV show title and applying it to the High Strangeness reports on Pages 8, 9, 10 and 19, a genuine communication with otherworldly intelligences, or just a lot of Jabberwocky?

Are we making too much of too little, and making associations that are truly nonsense?

It is far more likely that we are experiencing Contact rather than imagining that we have communication with this remarkable intelligence.

Curiouser and curiouser.

CONTACT IS LIKE A TREASURE SEARCH


When we mentioned the recent visit of Gary H. to a small English countryside village, we should have said that he went there to, in his own words, "to sort out a treasure hunt for his Scout Fellowship."

"While looking for some items as clues," he writes, "my wife said in a rather loud voice, 'Here is one of your damn rabbits!' It was a toy rabbit laying in a small hammock that was fixed to a window with some sunction cups. He was fast asleep! "

Gary H. had been having a little break in synchronisric events, and said, "Bugs the Bunny has done his bit for me, and has earned a rest." But not for long, as we have seen.

Our RABBIT has been leading us on a Treasure Hunt, a Search filled with so many clues relating to scientific discoveries and close encounter insights.

Hopefully it is not a wild goose chase, or, rather a wild bunny chase, nor, as some caution, a case of an otherworldly Trojan Horse, or, in this matter, a Trojan Rabbit, factors we have carefuly considered. We will not be intimidated into closing this down out of fear, which invites ignorance and stifles human curiosity.

SETI envisions Contact coming via a radio, TV or laser signal from other worlds or probes within the solar system's vacinity. Perhaps they really might be there, which would be a world-shattering discovery. Even if it is a return of one of Earth's TV broadcasts, such as the disconcerting one portrayed in the movie "Contact."

Science fiction, such as Star Trek, imagines Contact coming when that First Contact, through an in-person encounter with an otherworldly species takes place within this century.

If all that we have experienced, as we report here, is True Contact, as it seems to be, it has come in bizzare ways that connect with the very essence of our humanty, through our bodies, minds, dreams, psyches, emotions and imaginations. It opens us to examing ourselves as we wonder about, fear, yearn for and explore this Interface.

Careful not to create a "Cargo Cult" and not to outright reject nor blindly embrace Contact, we, through empowering techniques, have discovered that THEY will respond and reach out to us, if that is our Intent as it joins with their Intent.

For some of us it is a journey back to a source at the core of this mystery, while for others it a treading with caution to discover the nature of Contact, and our role, willing or not, in Contact's enigmatic quilt.

A wonderful, completely new approach to this extraordinary experience is opening up to us, coinciding with astouding scientific and astronomical discoveries, giving us opportunities with endless potential, if we dare.

We are being taken through a real Adventure In Wonderland, with its dangers and promises, and are learning that we have always been living in a Wonderland which many (not all) humans have been soul-blinded to, until we are shaken awake by a wider dimension of living and awareness.

Contact is here now not in our future. A response from humanity is called for.

PLAYFUL CONTACT, SERIOUS WORK


And how widespread is this type of Contact? What you read here in "The WOW! Breakthrough" is but Our Experience of it, through the window of S.P.A.C.E. and our associates. We are not alone in this Contact.

Others, though more silently, are experiencing the same general type of sustained, synchronistic form of communication, and we suspect that some may be in the scientific field.

Overall, this type of Contact is one form of its multi-dimensionsal, multi-layered paradoxical expression, as it comes through, the world over, all sorts of personal and group accounts of extraordinary experiences, and through the lens of researchers, as well as those who use art, stories, theater and imaginative forms to convey the contours of Contact in their own ways.

We urge the mass media to pay serious attention to this Contact, as it has been directed to some professional, very experienced journalists working for smaller newspapers, such as in SPACE and elsewhere. It is the most important story of humankind and, as says journalist Terry Hansen, author of "Missing Times," it is not the daily front page news it should be.

We who interface with a grander, mysterious consciousness are the "astronaut corps" selected by some unknown, constantly debateable process
that requires and demands explanation and exploration by the scientific community, a few of whose members have been touched in some way by the Contact Experience.

Much is in the court of the unknown as well, for they have orchestrated their interaction in a way which gives clues and glimpses, by nature and/or design. Determinedly curious Alice made a stand in Wonderland, encountering much that seemed nonsensical, even threatening in certain ways, to her.

The Rabbit is a Masked Trickster in a Masquerade of Contact. Much like Gary's Toy Rabbit stuck on the window between our world and the wider world of the Looking Glass, it waits for us to awake to a larger awareness of the cosmos.

Then we will all see where Contact takes us.

WONDERLAND: PATTERNS OF DESIGN

A year as marked by human calculations has been traveled since the SPACE-England-SETV connecting link opened up the door to the "WOW!" Breakthrough, merging the realms of Inner Space and Outer Space.

The impact on the lives of at least two people has been enormous, while the Contact has gone virutally unnoticed and mostly ignored among UFO researchers,-- dismissed, we know, by some as irrelevant and even ridiculous.

The fact that this came through many people who are interfacing with an otherworldly intelligence and is being faithfully documented by a professional newpaper reporter makes no difference.

And the message to us is that we do not know what we are talking about, and the message to the news media is, when you report on UFOs and close encounters, and just happen to have the interface yourself, your credentials do not count.

While we are very grateful to have this information available through various website links, there has really been very little interchange, discussion, discourse and feedback within the research and experencer communities.

The marvel of the Internet, designed originally for scientific exchange, is not being used and applied with scientific methodology within Ufology, which speaks volumes about the state of research.
Researchers, since the MIT Abduction Conference of 1992, have not built, with some exceptions, upon an vigorous and essential interchange vital to the advancement of knowledge. Some have constructed Mind Castles rather than creating a true Community of Learning and Sharing.

Hence, the information we freely and rapidly report is not getting the dialogue it deserves within the research community, mainly because it is not considered a notable event. Even within the field of cosmology, which I and others are very well informed of, there are superstring theorists who have their supporters and doubters.

The American UFO Magazine of June-July 2001 raises the issue of "The New Physics and Its Many Worlds" and "Otherworldly & Interdimensional Realities" in an articles by journalist Sean Catee and researcher Jon Kilmo. The article address some of the issues we raise, but without relating it to what is actually happening right now with us and others.

Because the Breakthrough events and accounts do not fit the requirements of most encounter research, they can be ignored. Even within SPACE the information has not been accepted as "a breakthrough" by many of us.

So a few of us are going out on the proverbial limb to state our case. But that is healthy, for we all have the freedom to accept and reject ideas without passing judgements, allowing all sorts of information to be expressed.

The Breakthrough information has not been popular nor an attention-getter; we are not in a popularity contest but are quietly pursuing our quest.

SPACE remains, a year after our discovery, a minor player in solving the encounter mystery and one of the least visited such websites on the Internet. We could tell you that we have "the answer." But, apparently, we do not. However, we have been shown a path, through this "WOW! Signal" experience, that offers knowledge and interaction with those who interface with us.

As June 12th began I watched a favorite and thoughtful episode of "Star Trek: Voyager" called "Blink of an Eye."

It concerns the starship Voyager being trapped in a time anomoly around a planet where "time" moves much faster, creating two very different persepctives between the starship explorers and the inhabitants of the world out of time-sync with Voyager.

It is similar to a marvelous science fiction novel of the 1980's called "Dragon's Egg" about an ntelligent species living on a rapidly spinning neutron star which makes a very brief "Fisrt Contact" with an Earth starship.

The human story as portrayed by First Contact in the Star Trek episode is very moving, thoughf=provoking and mimicks aspects of our experience as portrayed in "The Breakthrough" High Strangeness episodes.

After the episode, I switch TV channels to an old "Honeymooners" TV show from the 1950s. Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton were talking about Easter. Norton tells Ralph that, "my mther brough me one of those candy RABBITS."

Now, while seemingly a minor, irrelevent coincidence, it had great impact, especially immediatey after viewing the Star Trek program with its relevent theme. Contact? Well, not in any way it would be preceived. But in context with the Breakthrough events and other aspects of close encounters, it had great meaning.

It was humorous, gentle, subtle, kind, non-threatening and ambigious, presented as a probability rather than a Sure Thing that could be identified without a doubt as another "communication."

Contact can be a warm bunny rabbit rather than a spaceship. At least at times.

More than anything else, we are learning that this is all about Relationships and the potent creative power of the Imaginal.

And our capacity to allow our curiosity to roam and re-thik our lives, the world and cosmos we lie in, and how to preceive ourselves as participants i a far greater Cosmic Ecology that contains all sorts of intelligences and consciousnesses.

That is a real Wonder!

MESSAGE FROM FOLKS BY MT. RAINIER

On this weekend SPACE was contacted by two lovely folks from Washington state who live near Mount Rainier, the majestic dormant volcano that provides a beautiful backdrop to nearby Seattle, home of the SPACE Needle, Starbucks, "Frazier" and our print newsletter editor. The famous volcano is the site of the seminal, historic Kenneth Arnold sighting of June 24, 1947 when a newspaper reporter coined the term "flying saucer."

Our charming, enchanting couple had stumbled across our website, attracted and fascinated by the synchronicties, dreams and Breakthrough pages relating to Rabbits, "getting chills reading about (SPACE's) rabbit scenes in ET movies." Dee Finney, who led an abductee support group in Milwaukee some years ago and also helped UFO researcher/journalist Michael Lindemann with his valuable CNI News service, shared her recent rabbit dream, summarized here:

She was inside a build on a search, with other people, and continued the search outside, where they found a round container with a lid. The lid was removed and rolled across the ground into a pond. A young blonde boy chased after it, fell into the water and sank, as it was deeper than thought. Dee tried to save the boy, but there was a large dropoff at the shoreline, lined with stones.

Then the boy suddenly popped right out of the water. She "saw a beautiful fairy with wings pushing the boy above the water's surface." She grabbed the boy, pulling the youngster to safe shores. And "the fairy (whcjh came out of the water turned into a bunny rabbit. The fairy's wings changed into a bunny rabbit's ears."

This dream happened shortly before Dee and Joe discovered SPACE website, but the information they have relates in numerous ways to our own experiences and research, and is a valuable addition.

FEEDBACK: "IT'S IN THE TIMING, I GUESS"

June 16, 2001

Because humans, in a familiar spacetime continnium which gives structure to their lives, rely on anniversaries, SPACE sent a message to several people noting the June 12th anniversary of "the WOW! Breakthrough," reffering folks to the latest info on this "Decoding" page. The comments we got back are revealing, demonstrating that this mysterious "Contact and/or Communication" continues, on ever-strengthening levels.

On June 14 the author of an upcoming book, "Things Seen and Unseen: A True Story," noted the recent references here to the word and image of "UNSEEN," which also can relate to her book. More associative information! The Dublin-based Irish UFO & Paranormal Research Association, to which SPACE enjoys an affiliation, published excerpts from two chapters of the book in ts latest newsletter. Seems as if there is encouragement here to get the book into print!

On the same day we got a message about a woman's rabbit adventures in Baltimore, as Maryland became a kind of Wonderland for her, last weekend (June 9-10).

Driving through Baltimore after being picked-up at the bus station, she noticed, on the car ride, a rabbit on a lawn. The next day she again noticed a rabbit on a lawn. Later, inside a house, she looked out the window and noticed "a large rabbit sitting outside nd looking directly at me." Then another person with her looked out the same window, and "the rabbit turned and looked directly at her. Coincidence???" she asked.

We find the location where this took place -- Baltimore -- very curious, indeed, as is the relative timing (time being relative, as Einstein said). It was there in early April that the Space Telescope Institute held a meeting of for astronomers on "The Dark Universe: Matter, Energy, and Gravity." It was there that University of Chicago astrophysicist Dr. Mchael Turner commented, "We live in a preposterous universe," as quoted by science reporter Dennis Overbye in his article "From Light to Darkness: Astronomy's New Universe" in The New York Times of April 10, 2001 (pages F1 & F2). The discussions in the cosmology field relate directly to our experiences and discussions here, although the two fields of research do ot cross the mind barriers that have been erected by both sides.

Are our Rabbits saying "Hello" to Astrophysicists from their "UNSEEN" realm which generates the Rabbit Image and Symbol, in their own ambigious way?! Hey, it's very likely, folks.

Also we got more feedback on June 14 from another charming person, noting her own "WOWs!" of one year ago and how they relate to the experences and information here, connecting with her own birthday last weekend, the animal connection with a human telepathic communicator from Switzerland, a trip to Brewster a few years ago with a toy rabbit on her car's dashboard, and more, including a new book published this month called "The Convoluted Universe" about other dimensions, time and physics by encounter researcher Dolores Cannon.

"It's in the timing, I guess," said the woman relating her WOWs to our WOWs.

THE NIGHTLINE RABBIT CONNECTION

Last evening (Friday, June 15), ABC-TV News' "Nightline -- Friday Night Special" with host Chirs Bury, featured a report by ABC News reporter Robert Krulwich, a well-respected journalist, on new breakthrough discoveries about Paleonethic cave people which may change the pervailing view of them...and their strong connection with RABBITS, the bunnies being a key to this new archeological finding now slowly bu surely gaining acceptance in that scientific field.

The news program began with a reference to President Jimmy Carter's scare with an "attack rabbit" whilst on a boat in a lake, which led to screaming news headlnes like "PAWS! Bunny Goes Bugs -- Rabbit Attacks."

The program concerned the recent curious findings of two archeologists, one being Olga Sofer (?), who first had a career in the garment fashion business, and Jim Adavanzio (?), an archeologist whose focus is ancient textiles.

Through looking at stones and artifacts from some European sites of 27,000 years ago, they've concluded that people then, rather than wearing mostly mammouth skins and furs, wore threaded clothing, much like people today.

That would shatter the image of the macho fur-dressed cave men, an era supposedly ending around 7,000 B.C., when threaded clothing started to be made. But here, 20,000 years before that, is undeniable evidence, etched in 27,000 year-old sculptures and rocks, of weaved clothing much like that of modern times!

Turns out, also, the researchers discovered by looking at digs from 27,000 years ago, that the European peoples then knew how to tie knots, which would allow them to make nets to trap RABBITS, for food and clothing. Soffer found that "43 percent" of the dead animal bones at the ancient sites are those of RABBITS, which were hunted for food and clothing. "All the robes are made of rabbit fur," she said.

The July 2001 issue of "National Geographic" incorporates a woman and a white rabbit into a drawing of bruitish cavemen. The reason, the researchers mentioned, for the macho-cavemen images in the past may have been due to the perspective of Male Archeologists, putting their own intrepertation through their own human viewpoint, onto their research.

When reporter Krulwich asked people at National Geographic about why they still showed the traditional macho-cavemen mixed in with they rabbits and woman, they told him something to the effect, "We HAVE to show the people what they want, what they expect."

So, here, on the "anniversary" of our Breakthrough in Close Encounter research, which relates to RABBITS at times, we get another RABBIT reference in a different context -- archeology -- which led to New, Breakthrough Discoveries in that critical field of revealin human prehistory, in this case showing a more sophisticated human culture than previously deemed possible.

Our RABBITS are showing us a way to new discoveries, through people who actually interface with mysterious, covert, stealth nonhuman forces, appealing to fields of UFO and science research, apparently from another realm where the dimensions and physics operate at higher frequencies with different perceptions and awareness of general reality.

Our ancient ancestors hunted rabbits, victims of a human desire for easy food and warm clothing. It may be easy to interpret the rabbits as us, or the rabbits as "aliens" (getting back at us? or showing a gentle animal image as representing their nature and the danger they face from us?). But no one can be sure of any of those speculations and interpretations.

What we do knw is that We are on a Bunny Trail of Contact, more than ever before after a year of experiences and insights, involving many people, places and times, with as many adventures as Harry Potter, Bilbo Baggins and Alice Through the Looking Glass put together, the major difference being that this is "real.".

SWEDENBORG ON ANIMAL SYMBOLOGY


Emanuel Swedenborg, the 18th Century Swedish mystic and jack-of-all-trades, told of his many journeys, while in a deep meditative state, to another holographic-like realm, which he then preceived as "heaven," where he encountered various beings, including beings from other planets, as well as what he described as "spirits and angels."

Author Michael Talbot in his marvelously thoughtful book, "The Holographic Universe" (published by HarperCollins, 1991, a year before his untimely death), notes this about Swedenborg:

"He said that when spirits and angels talked, their thoughts were constantly coalescing into three dimensional symbolic images, especially animals."

What we have here with our rabbits, hares and bunnies seems to be operating in a remarkably similar manner. Only we encounter live, toy and imaginary rabbits, and other types and references of bunnies. It is as if an almost incomprehensible meta-intelligence is trying to communicate with us using such symbolism which we can identify with.

"As we have seen," Talbot writes, "that underlying visible reality was a wave-substance," a concept which, he notes, parallels those of quantum physicists such as David Bohm today, writing about an implicate, non-local order of reality from which mind and matter emerge, forming our own material reality. Which just happens to act, at times, like a waking dream in such instances reported here in the Breakthrough material and other aspects of close encounters.

A "WOW!" CRESCENDO

June 17, 2001: UNDENIABLE VERIFICATION

Just after Sunday breakfast with a friend and before descending down into the underground tunnel system of the New York City subway system for an afternoon at the Rose Center of Space and Earth, and a free outdoor evening concert at Lincoln Center, we stopped into the newspaper store on 95th Street for the Sunday papers.

On the newsstand counter we saw small WHITE RABBITS filled with little candies. I buy one of them, delighted to see these three-inch tall rabbits before descending into the subway tunnel, a human variation of "Down the Rabbit Hole." Little did I know, when I left my friend, what an unexpected magical day was in store, chockful with surprise!

When I arrived in Manhattan, I awaited another friend at GRAND CENTRAL STATION. When he came, we sat awhile over ice cream. "Harry, I am reading Carl Sagan's book 'Contact.' He mentions rabbits. He picked-up on something with them years before SPACE did," he said to me.

When I came home later that day, I looked for the passages he referred to in my copy of Carl Sagan's 1985 book, which was made into an excellent movie with Jodie Foster in 1997 by Warner Brothers.

As I did so, I thought of the only time I met Carl Sagan, whom I always admired despite his avowed debunking of UFOs. It was in the late 1980's when I worked as the executive director of the Metro New York City Council of the national Committee for a SANE Nuclear Policy, a large peace-seeking organization founded in 1957 by Linus Pauling (it's now called Peace Action).

It was in the Psychological Department Building at New York University. I was to introduce him to two representatives from a Chinese peace organization based in Beijing, whom I was escorting for our peace group during their two-week visit to New York City. I was to accompany Sagan and others on a trip to China within a year or so, a trip I never made because I changed jobs, becoming a newspaper reporter.

I read "CONTACT" in paperback form after Christmas 1986, just before I started to explore my own extraordinary encounter experiences. I have often wondered, if I had gone to China with Carl Sagan, would we have discussed close encounters? What would have our discussions been like? I will never know.

But look at what he wrote is in his book "Contact" about RABBITS, a full 15 years before a "WOW!" broke through to us. New Mexico is known for its many jackrabbits, so the mention of them here in his book is not unusal. How he wrote about them is, however, very revealing!

 

We refer you to the closing pages of Chapter 3, "White Noise," as SETI astronomer Ellie Arroway drives into the country at night for a sparkling clear view of the night sky. (The emphasis on highlighted words, in caps, is by us.):

"The two-lane blacktop highway, Ellie noticed with a pleasant little tremor, was lined with RABBITS." The rabbits, the passage noted, were on all fours. When her car's headlights illuminated them they would stand on their hindlegs, like the one shown in the Web-TV artwork here.

"For miles there was an honor guard of desert coneys saluting her, so it seemed, as she roared through the night. They would look up, a thousand pink noses twitching, TWO THOUSAND bright eyes smiling in the dark, as this appariation hurtled toward them."

Arroway, the passage notes, thought it may be a "religious experience" for the "mostly young rabbits," seeing the fast traveling car.

"Despite the thousands of RABBITS lining the road, there never seemed to be even one in the middle, near the lane marker, never a confused scurrying out of the way.....WHY WERE THEY ALIGNED ALONG THE PAVEMENT AT ALL?"

PATTERNS of A SIGNAL

Arroway wondered about this stramgeness, and then she listened to the white noise of her speeding tires, "listening for a pattern," as a SETI scientist would in random noises from outer space.

Her thoughts turned to a visit to New York City, and a subway trip she took. "In the clacka-clacka of this undergroud RAILROAD she thought she heard a clue, and resolutely skipped half a day of meetings -- traveling from 34th Street to CONEY ISLAND, back to Manhattan."

Arroway, the passage continued, switches TRAINS and travels out to far Queens, watching glowing electric blue lights pass in the tunnel as the subway train turned a bend, its car lights blinking out, On the TRAIN that gave her a feeling of being "in some impossible hyper-relativistic INTERSTELLAR SPACECRAFT" speeding through a blue star cluster.

For awhile Arroway, as she stops to look at the stars, wonders about the questions of SETI and lthe pros and cons of life beyond Earth.

Then, heading back to the Argus facility with its radio telescope array, Arroway notices the RABBITS once again: "The rabbits, still lining the roadside, but now pinked by dawn, craned their necks to follow her departure."

I was flabberghasted by these references to these RABBITS and the PATTERNS of the RABBITS presented in this sci-fi novel by Sagan, along with the refernces to TRAINS, an image powerfully associated with close encounter dreams of experiencers, so eloquently portrayed by the Collision Theory theatre ensemble's recent play "The Abduction Project" as a central image of the close encounter experience.

Even Sagan's references to the TWO THOUSAND eyes of the rabbits made me think of the year of 2000, when this "WOW!" signal breakthrough insight occured to me and Gary H. in England (June 12, 2000), in connecion with the sighting I had over CONEY ISLAND of seven whte objects in September 1995 (the number 95 being important, too).

CONTACT!!!

And, here, in "CONTACT," Carl Sagan refers to a TRAIN trip by a fictional SETI astronomer to CONEY ISLAND. At that point, I thought, if this synchronistic pattern of repeated references is CORRECT, there has to be a WILLIAMS reference involved here.

That is because on June 12, 2000 a Walt WILLIAMS, of the SETV project, contacted SPACE, independently, about our apparent communcations from ETI. With books on synchronicity, we found refrences to a WILLIAMS
in the first or second pages of the book.

Along with the remarkable string of WILLIAM(S) synchronicities, far beyond mere chance, throughout the past year!

"It's unlikely that is the case in Contact. But if the pattern is consistent and remains true to itself, there MUST BE a WILLIAMS in the first or second page of Carl Sagan's book, CONTACT," I thought.

On the first page for Part One, "The Message," there is a quote from a child. Then, on the very next page (the books second), reading Chapter 1, there is a quote from WILLIAM Blake, from his "Songs of Experience." Of course!

WOW!!!!!!!

The implications of this are startling for anyone who seriously contemplates Contact, as they strongly SUGGEST that Carl Sagan, in writing "CONTACT", was placed into a holo-movement loop of consciousness, back in the mid-1980's, that would connect with what SPACE and our associates have been experiencing with our Rabbits, Williams and Trains, etc.

Is this really crazy thinking, as some ufologists may think? Or are we really on to something? Is this the way CONTACT is unfolding, with an almost certain Carl Sagan connection presented so clearly right here, planted back in 1985, for someone to find now and here in 2001???

When viewing the movie "CONTACT" as Ellie Arroway travels through the "wormholes' of space, she remarks, of them, "Some kind of a tunnel system, A subway..."

And what set the stage for this discovery today was a remark by my friend about the passage about RABBITS in Sagan's book....

....While we were in GRAND CENTRAL STATION, which is the title of Chapter 20 of Sagan's book "CONTACT" where a Nonhuman Intelligence interacts with Arroway, in a form that will be presented in a familiar, comfortable image for her (extracted from her DREAMs after a MINDSCAN through her EYES)... her father.

Today, June 17, 2001 is FATHER"S DAY!

Now, later on this day, Sunday, June 17, 2001, my friend and I, after leaving Grand Central Station, went to the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and the American Museum of Natural History for awhile.

As the evening began, we were at the Goldman Band Concert at the outdoor band-shell at Lincoln Center. One of the pieces played by this mighty fine orchestra was a new composition by composer Michael Torke, the premier performance of his "GRAND CENTRAL STATION," making it a "song of experience," as William Bake wrote back in 1795.

There was also a operatic instrumemntal performance, with the host noting that the opera composer wrote 70 operas during his life, makig him as "proliferic as RABBITS."

"TAKE THE WATCH"

In the evening, back at home, I opened up my e-mails and saw one from Joe Mason (of the Coincidences, Connections & Synchronicities" website), relating his RABBIT Dream of July 17, 1989, after reading our website.

He is inside a house which becomes a large white building. He and others are sitting at Round Tables, and notes: "Rod WILLIAMS (a production manager from work), comes slowly down the stes. He gave me a pocket watch," writes Mason. "I told him, 'No! I am looking for keys.' I handed the watch back to him. In a calm voice, he said, 'Take the WATCH. It's just as good.' I then took the watch."

In the 1989 dream Mason and a woman friend head deep into the woods, where they come to a pond. "It's a RABBITS LIAR," says the woman friend to Mason. Mason refuses to enter, and then sees a scene that looks like something out of Walt Disney's "Fantastia" movie.

The 1989 dream and a synchronicity associated with it led Mason to study coincidences, dreams, mythology and religions. Je wondered why Rod WILLIAMS appeared in his dream.

It all gained signifigance, he said, when he read the SPACE website, when he noted the WILLIAMS, RABBITS and Alice In Wonderland connections. Only his Rabbit-Williams Dream predates the SPACE-Gary H.-W. Williams Breakthrough events and insights by 11 years.

For some reason, the name WILLIAM The Conqueror came to him, so he made a computer search, first on Google.com. He found, "The Humble RABBIT...as very much an indiginous animal, but it isn't. WILLIAM the Conqueror never had RABBIT pie here. It was introduced in East Anglia."

Then, checking "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland," he finds in Chapter Three, ""Caucus Race and a Long Tale, the following passage by the Mouse: "This is the driest thing I know. Silence all around, if you please. WILLIAM the Conqueror, whose cause was favored by the pope...'

This associates with the WILLIAMS Club on East 39th Street in Manhattan, next to the Carl Jung Center. Directly across the street from the Williams Club is the Vatican's mission to the United Nations! Gary H. in England has made reference to the pope.

These associations made by Joe Mason, independent of SPACE, give further backup to the general nature of this Contact, which extends beyond SPACE.

 

A few days later, on June 20, I read two e-mails sent by the Bridges group, a network of support groups and encounter support researchers whom share valuable discussions on the encounter situation.

These e-mails just happened to involve RABBITS, namely Bugs Bunny. The e-mail concerened an article called "A Bunny Wabbit At Disneyland: New Evidence Shows False Memories Can Be Created."

It was about findings about the nature of creating false memories, an unfortunate scare tactic used to debunk encounter memories. Of people exposed to a fake print advertisement about Bugs Bunny at Disneyland, one third, according to the study, claim to have remembered meeting the Bugs Bunny character there, even thoigh that cartoon figure is a Warner Brothers, not a Disney, creation.

Now what is curious about this coming up at this time, is that the presentaion was made at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Society, held in Toronto on JUNE 17th, the date that is marked here as making the new "WOW!" breakthroughs.

WE ARE ALONE...FOR NOW

Ironically, after the stunning insights and discoveries of the past couple of weeks, which show that "We Are Not Alone," as the only high intelligence in the universe.... We Are Alone, as we who make such findings are alone, and are left alone, in our efforts to report our discoveries to others and elicit peer review as we post our reports on the World-Wide-Web, especially within the close encounter research field.

It struck me, after a harsh experience two evenings ago, how little people are connected and how little many of them care. Heading to the stairs to board a subway train to get me to an evening news assignment for my newspapers, I encountered commuters rushing up the stairs, coming home from work. In my attempt to avoid them, a well-dressed man shouted at me in a mean voice, "Get out of my way!"

As I tried to avoid the crowd, I slipped and started falling, grabbing the banister at the top of the staircase to break my fall. As people rushed by, not one offered to help me up, stepping over me as if I were a useless, worthless object. When I finally got up, I looked at the last few homebound commuters, as my heart raced, and saw people trapped in Egos, fed by competition and selfish thinking, brainwashed by TV programs such as "Survivor" and others which are saturated with violence, throwing humanity back to a brutally savage stage without any of the wonderment that some of our ancestors had.

Now, in our alerts about this Breakthrough, backed by others independently who have been experiencing similar patterns of Contact, we find ourselves Alone with this startling information, information that provides undeniable verification of Contact.

Both people who interface with this otherworldy intelligence and those who research the mysterious and complex interface, are alone in their own ways, without a serious, concerted effort such as a wide-academic base. The John Macks and David Jacobs, with their academic-base, do not enjoy the full support of their institutions.

And the in-fighting that plagues portions of Ufology accomplishes nothing, disempowering both researchers and interfacers, preventing a pooling of all data.

We, who interface with the phenomenon, are trying to deal with it, wonder why we have been selected and face a future that is already eclipsed by an intermix of ideas about what this is all about and how we all fit in. And yet, we are in CONTACT, albeit a contact that does not fit into preconceived notions about Contact.

Rather than coming through radio and optical telescopes, a high-tech extension of drums and smoke signals, the Communication is coming through in a Very Wide Array of methods, leaving clues and patterns in many places, among many people, through many points in time.

When a "WOW" signal from Vega is detected by Dr. Arroway and her SETI team in the book and movie "Contact," Prime Numbers arise giving mathematical support to the reality of the communication.

Those Prime Numbers are 2-3-5-7-11 and up to 101.

Looking at aspects of our encounters, we find these numbers to be part of our contact, such as meaningful, apparently staged UFO sightings over 57th Street, to cite one of several examples, alog with the next prime number, 11, all numbers which re-occur. Perhaps this is one of the clues, too.

 

CONTACT: THE SIGNATURES OF THE ARTISTS


In our quest, since we requested fuller contact, we have come across an amazing string of clues, a train of consistent happenings, an undeniable, verifiable pattern of Contact.

Yes, it would be truly thrilling if an unmistakable signal is detected by the SERENDIP SETI Program at UC Berkeley's Search for Extraterrestrial Civilzations through the Arecibo Observatory radio telescope, the Columbia Optical Search, the SETI-@-Home project, or the two major projects to find evidence of near-Earth extraterrestrial probes within our solar system.

It could be that on some unknown planet about 50 lightyears from Earth other beings are now glued to some sort of TV set, watching Captain Video, Tom Corbett-Space Cadet, Rocky Jones and the Space Rangers....and Howdy Doody.

More than likely NonHuman Intelligence may live not only there, but in some Invisible Realm that is composed of what humans call Dark Matter and Energy, or other dimensions enfolded beyond the known fabric of SpaceTime, a kind of nonsensical Wonderland.

Through many methods to many people they may be conveying their own reality, as they seem to be doing in what SPACE and others have experienced and discovered.

Indeed, CONTACT has come in a far more complex and preplexing way, challenging us to think in new ways about the nature of reality, the universe and ourselves. It is what Carl Sagan would have called "The Artist's Signature."

"...In the fabric of space and in the nature of matter, as in a great work of art, there is, written small, the artist's signature...."

In the news room today, as I worked on reporting the high school graduations now taking place, I was given a 2001 yearbook. It has a theme based upon "2001: A Space Odyssey," with a reference to a remark by movie-maker Stanley Kubrick about humans seeing themselves not as planetary beings but as travelers, composed of Mind, among the stars.

On the cover of the yearbook is a space scene, with the planet Earth and a circular space station in orbit, all of which fits well with a space theme.

But coming up from the Earth and moving through space is a Subway TRAIN.

CONTACT AS A WHITE FEATHER....


In 1997 after a late evening viewing of the movie "Contact" at a local theater, I stood at a bus stop, awaiting a bus back home.

A young woman and young man walk by me. The woman releases a WHITE FEATHER into the air, floating upward on a gentle evening breeze. "I hope my wishes come true," she says, smilng, to the man.

With a bright full or almost full Moon in the dark sky, the white feather floats skyward, out of sight.

As it does so, I am overcome by what I immediately realize is an amazing coincidence. The director of the Warner Bros. movie "Contact," Robert Zemeckis, also produced the Academy Award winning movie "Forrest Gump" a few years before.

It has the famous scene of Gump, played by Tom Hanks, sitting on a park bench as a WHITE FEATHER floats gently down from the sky.

What a fascinating, magical synchronicity, I think, seeing the white feather right after viewing "Contact" by Zemeckis! This time like a gentle, feathery spaceship floating through the sky, lit-up by the Moon.

....And, ironically, Tom Hanks would play an Apollo 13 astronaut who looped around the Moon in the movie "Apollo 13."

A SUPERMARKET VISIT AND E.T. ANNOUNCED


After entering all the latest information above, I head out after ten on this warm Summer but enchanted evening (June 22) to buy a few needed items at the local supermarket before it closes at 11 o'clock.

As I pick up a shopping basket, a radio in the huge supermarket is blaring an announcement about making "contact with an extraterrestrial civilization." What a strange but timely announcement to hear, I think.

It is a commercial for some casino that features, I gather, fanciful recreations of an imagined extraterrestrial civilization. How weirdly coincidental to hear this now!

And in a supermarket, connecting me to Gary H.'s late evening visit to a supermarket in England some months ago, which led to a chain of new Rabbit synchronicities over the next few days, and linked to the occassional image of "supermarkets" in close encounter-related dreams.

How Very Strange! Curiouser and curiouser.

THE RABBIT PATTERN KEEPS HAPPENING....


The organized line-up of hundreds of Rabbits along the New Mexico road that Carl Sagan's fictional Dr. Eleanor Arroway saw in "Contact," while looking for Patterns in her SETI search, is quite telling, as is the image of a New York City Subway Train making her think of Interstellar Transportation as she traveled through the Underground Tunnels.

After SPACE explorers were alerted about the "WOW!" Crescendo, there were some responses, along with those that just happened to come in independently of the alert,,,,,

Lorie Barnes was channel surfing a few days before the alert and was attracted to cable TV show called "The Scariest Places on Earth," noticing a segment on a "haunted bridge." In her e-mail of June 23 to Egeln she writes, "The main reason I watched was because of the name of the supposed 'ghost.' It was 'The Bunny Man.'"

A SPACE associate, apparently unaware of all the rabbit syncs before, in New England receives the alert and replies to Egeln in an e-mail on June 23:

"Omigosh!!! I've had the most weird dream about RABBITS a week or so ago...It was so disconcerting that I went through some shamanic books trying to find out what in the world was so significant about a rabbit...Even did some web searching...obviously it was gnawing a my subconscious, or I'd just have discounted the dream entirely."

Two days later Egeln gets another e-mail from the same person: "When I came into my office this morning, guess what happened. Out of the thousands of books on the wall, I reached over and grabbed one...It had A RABBIT HOPPING ABOVE THE WORDS, 'LIFE MAGIC'!!!!"

On Monday, June 25 Egeln gets a phone call from someone who came across the SPACE website. The person relates a personal visitation experience as an early teen, the first recalled, at a time the person had a pet rabbit.

 

"THE MESSAGE"

From a new independent source in England on June 24 comes an observation given to Gary H. after the source studied the Breakthrough and Decoding Pages, first seeming to be a bunch of "nonsense" until it was understood as significant. Here are excerpts from that commentary.

"TRUMPETS - TRIANGLES - TRAINS - TUNNELS - RABBITS - WILLIAM(S)....These are things that keep cropping up in the great synchronicity extravaganza. Do they spell out a message? I think so...

"TRUMPETS give us music, which implies harmony...(and) "the Last Trump" (of Revelations) ...Harold Egeln heard a performance of Mahler's Second Symphony, - the 'Resurrection' Symphony -, with its famous trumpet melody, signalling the moment when the dead are brought back to life..."

"TRIANGLES represent unity and strength, - but also fire, a testing/trial..." (as "abductees" are given repeated images of catastrophies and environmental disasters.)

"TRAINS and TUNNELS, - a journey, obviously -- but to What? Well, after a time of testing comes a time of rebirth and renewal -- resurrection...

"As for the WILLIAM(S), this is the English version of the German WILHELM, -- 'will-helmet' - in other words, 'will-power'...

The communicator also refers to information on the meaning of the Chinese Year of the Rabbit found on a "Cultural Spotlight" website, and found this: That the Year of the Rabbit are "times of diplomacy and gentle persuasion." The last year of the Rabbt was from February 1999 to February 2000, and the next will start in 2011 and end in 2012. Rabbit symbolism has "life, healing, clear-sightedness, gentleness."

"THE MESSAGE says that there are certain things we need to have -- unity, harmony, gentleness and creativity, -- but also strength, determination, sticking-power, good judgement and discernment. It says that we are on a journey that will lead us through a time of fire, of testing and trial, -- but at the end of that journey we will come to a place of renewal ad rebirth..."

A TIBETAN POEM

Back in "the States" another independent source who recently discovered the SPACE website noted a poem by the 11th Century teacher Marpa Lotsawa called "The Annunciation." Here are relevent excerpts from the poem:
