BREAKTHROUGH "WOW!" SIGNALS

*******SPACE Encounter Explorers, with stunning swiftness in mid-June 2000, suddenly experienced a surprise extraordinary breakthrough insight regarding the Close Encounter Enigma, while exploring the Matrix within the Looking Glass realm, a labyrinth of a "WOW! Signal" that weaves through our lives, vibrating on a Symphony of Synchronicities. What follows is a continuing non-stop journey of discovery through a Mirror World, still unfolding well into 2004, a true SPACE Odyssey.

"THIS MEANS SOMETHING"

The episodes which make for the breakthrough roughly resemble the orchestration of repeated IMAGES given to UFO witnesses in the 1977 movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" which drew them to a Contact Point.

At that rendevous point, a military man argues with scientist LaCombe (patterned after UFO researcher Jacques Vallee, the astrophysicist and computer scientist) that the witnesses' coming together over similar images is just "coincidence" while LaCombe feels that it means something, an "event sociological."

For some what is reported here, in length, will make sense, and for others it will not. This is the way this enigma works, with a built-in befuddlement factor. Perhaps what you will read can be best understood by visiting the other pages on the evolving SPACE website to see this in its total context, as those aspects (sightings, stealth encounters, dreams, contacts, etc.) are essential elements to what is presented here.

A SYNCHRONICITY DISCOVERY BRIDGING MIND AND MATTER VIA CLOSE ENCOUNTERS

What we have discovered, based on previous similar clustering experiences, defies conventional concepts of how reality works.

It is beyond the parameters of what visitation researchers usually accept and most may chose to ignore, as has mostly happened. Yet it involves an array of encounter witnesses (abductees and experiencers as well as those associated with the phenomenon), in an intricate information web of high intensity and deep sublty, mostly conveyed with gentle persistence and an almost ethical-like consistency.

It is closer to scientific breakthroughs that reside in mysterious quantum discoveries. The quantum state of mind as applied to the subatomic micro-level seems to be at play here on the macro-level, the bigger picture of so-called everyday reality, such as now being studied by physicists.

However, the instrumentation here dwells more in realms of consciousness and altered perceptions through human experiences of a most extraordinary kind.

It all seems to be asking Science's field of SETI research to turn its telescopes metaphorical inward to Inner Spaces, while still looking outward to Outer Space. The effect is to utilize individual encounter witnesses and to group many of them together (via human experience), much as astronomers using a large array of radio telescopes would do to better find intelligent signals from outer space.

The circumstantial evidence presented here is strong and undeniably reinforces itself. There are the signatures of an unknown intelligence interacting with apparent deliberate intent through us to get our attention and, it seems, to "converse."
It may mark a potential scientific discovery in the search for a physics of information, achieved through the close encounter phenomenon. We offer this remarkable, evolving report for your review.

It may have something to do with what famous visionary writer Arthur Clarke said, "Any sufficient advanced technology is indistinquishable from magic." However, it is not magic at all but a noetic science, image-saturated theatre dancing on the stage of our lives through interactions with some unknown hyperconsciousness.

Linear space and time take back stage while a science of associations takes center stage, driven by the energy of a physics of information. It requires new ways to think, as it seems to be not about Space-Ships only, necessarily, but more a matter of Relation-Ships.

OUR PASSPORT TO "WONDERLAND"

A SPACE encounter explorer, with experience in utterly bizzare episodes that are charactistic of the visitation phenomenon, wrote, "Sometimes I wonder whether it is the High Strangeness aspects that are what really important, not most of the stuff the researchers talk about."

While a few ufologists have responded to this, it may be beyond the scope of most, as it is being largely ignored, even dismissed, in the UFO research field, which largely interprets our experiences and sets its own parameters of acceptable data.

"One of the great problems with the visitor experience is that anything that doesn't fit expected patterns is generally ignored," Whitley Strieber observed in "The Communion Letters."

A big problem seems to rest in the fact that researchers (doing the wonderful work they do in their specific areas of interest) do not directly experience the intimate and subtle nature in a personal way that we do. We are better equiped to study this from the inside.

Nor they may not be willing to explore new methods of learning in the way a dectective might, perferring to stick to their tried and true methods,in an effort to keep information at acceptable levels. "Where are the UFO detectives?" once asked Jacques Vallee, who wrote the classic study, "Passport To Magonia." For us, from what you will read, it is highly signficant, a quantum leap forward!

It may relate more in the realm of the works of depth psychologist Dr. Carl Jung, quantum physicist Wolfgang Pauli and imaginal writer Lewis Carroll, than anything else, with their diverse approaches bringing the phenomenon of Synchronicity as an Information Energy Bridge between Mind and Matter.

The extraordinary experiences of close encounters often transcends the framework in which this world lives, thinks and learns.

ONCE UPON A MISSING TIME....

"Harold, check your watch," said a confused Joseph as they sat in a New York City coffee shop in January 1993. "It's 10:35," said Harold.

"That can't be. It just can't! It was about quarter of ten just a few moments ago. My watch says 10:35 also," said Joseph, who has a habit of frequently checking his watch, widening his eyes in sincere puzzlement, disturbed by the apparent MISSING TIME.

Over seven years later, on April 29, 2000 Harold was looking at the sundial, an ancient type of time-piece, at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, visiting it during the Cherry Blossom Festival.

A cottontail rabbit suddenly hops by the sundial, as if in a hurry. Harold, always the reporter, grabs his trusty small camera to photograph the rabbit. He snaps the back of the rabbit as it heads under a hedge, as if to pop down a rabbit-hole.

Almost like Alice's Rabbit heading for Wonderland, only the time-piece was a sundial which this rabbit hopped quickly by. And Harold, unlike Alice, got a snapshot of the rabbit.

"I didn't know there were rabbits still in Brooklyn?" he tells his friend with him.

"Yes, they are. I've seen them here before," says his friend, who, when he was a child, wanted to be called "Bunny."

The Adventure in Wonderland, through Coney Island, long ago home to Dreamland, was just beginning..........

THE CONEY ISLAND SIGHTING: DREAMLAND BECOMES WONDERLAND On a Friday afternoon in mid-September 1995, Harold Egeln, ready to leave his apartment in Bay Ridge, in southwest Brooklyn, got a phone call from a woman in Massachusetts, referred to him by Dr. John Mack's PEER group in Cambridge. She told him that she never talked with anyone, until now, about her sighting of a huge triangular-shaped object. Egeln, as usual, listened carefully to her for awhile before leaving for an errand. When he reached Third Avenue, a commercial strip of small shops, Egeln noticed people in front of a hair salon looking skywards, pointing. He looked up, too, and saw what appeared to be a white balloon-like object in the mid-eastern blue sky, which he dismissed as not a UFO, and then walked to 91st Street heading towards Fourth Avenue. There he looked up again. In the southeast sky he saw not only that the white balloon-like light had moved southeastward, but it was moving towards an array of six other white star-like objects arranged in patterns. One set of Three formed a large equalateral triangular pattern, pointed downward, roughly the apparent size of a full moon. To the left was another set of three white objects, appearing self-illuminating like the others, forming an equalateral triangular pattern, also pointed downward, only this set was about half the size of the larger triangule array, half the apparent size of the full moon. The lone white object, to the left of both triangular patterns, remained in place. The array of seven star-like objects, with a blue sky background, appeared to be over the area of Coney Island, the famous, historic legendary New York City amusement and beach area. He watched in fascinatiion, alone, for several minutes, as the objects, glowing like bright electric lghts in the sky, began to fade slightly, as if moving away together or upward, but maintaining their perfect triangualar formation. Not flares, not airplanes, not balloons, so what is actually happening? He wondered, before moving on for his errand, glad to have witnessed this. He thought of the triangular patterns formed by white objects a year before over Central Park. And those up in the Brewster field skywatch area at night on May 27, 1993. (See Contact Encounters Page 3.) Egeln observed that there were seven white objects this time, reminding him of "seven trumpets" ringing the rim of a flying saucer saucer seen in a dream, in March 1993, by a woman. (See Dream Encounters Page 5.) That was just before sharing hypnosis notes with Joseph Wiek the next evening regarding an apparent stealth interaction dated January 12, 1993 at a Manhattan coffee shop. The restaurant was on a block which is roughly triangular in shape, with a much smaller triangular concrete island across the street below Sheridan Square, also shaped as a triangle, as well as Sheridan Square itself, which is also in the shape of a triangle. (see the Close Encounters of the Dream Kind page) *** *** *** WHY CONEY ISLAND? Why the sighting over Coney Island? It did not seem to have any meaning back in and right after 1995, except as a location in the southeast sky for a UFO sightng reference point. Coney Island is the legendary seaside amusement playground. A century ago it was home to spectacular places, a stellar wonderland for the new 20th Century. in that century's first decade LUNA PARK dazzled crowds with its many wonders and quarter of a million white electric lights. It was like, a writer said, "encountering the strange, encountering the unencounterable." Later in that decade came DREAMLAND, an early Victorian-like Disneyland with stylish elegance and a million electric lights. One writer back then called it "the realized unconscious of the age." There was also A TRIP TO MARS. In the 1890's Egeln's paternal grandmother, Carrie Smith, worked there as a magician. Almost five years later, In June 2000, Egeln found out the apparent answer, through a UFO investigator across the ocean in England, deepening the mystery on the operations of an enigmatic super-intelligence and how it communicates synchronicistly, outside of our time and space. Coney Island, once home to Dreamland, would become, in the year 2000, the enigmatic entrance down a Rabbit-Hole into a topsy-turvy Wonderland, through a Looking Glass of Close Encounters...

A RABBIT OUT OF A NOETIC SCIENCE HAT!

The British investigator, who contacted Egeln through the SPACE website early in 2000 after getting synchronistic indicators to "watch this space" over the years, was patiently but persistently in touch via e-mail with Egeln about suggested patterns of possible ET communications stretching over time.

In mid-June 2000, the man, whom we shall call Gary H., mentioned the triangular cloud formation seen by a SPACE Away Team on a skywatch in Brewster, NY on July 26, 1993, while a British team, in Stonehenge in England led by crop circle researcher Colin Andrews, were engaged in a proactive tandem attempt to communicate or contact an alien intelligence. (See our Contact Encounters Page.)

Gary H. noted that after the interactions, a man on the SPACE Team, upon returning home to Brooklyn, after being scared out of his wits further into the Bewster interaction, found a crystal rabbit on a chain on the floor of his apartment, knowing very well there was no way anyone could have placed it in his flat while away during the long night skywatch.

He took it as a message that he reacted in Brewster like a "frightened rabbit," and the crystal rabbit-on-a-chain comforted him was placed in his apartment by forces aware of that .

On June 11, 2000 Gary H. e-mailed Egeln a question, "What does the rabbit with chain signify? How does it relate to triangles? And the seven trumpets?"

That inspired a breakthrough insight by Egeln, remembering the September 1995 sighting over Coney Island. That very night Egeln wrote Gary H. an e-mail describing that sighting of the two triangular arrays, one half the size of the other.

Then, it suddenly dawned on him that Coney Island is named after the Olde English word for rabbits, "Coney," from all the rabbits or hares that lived there (Hares can still be seen in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden).

Then Egeln also realized that this amazing intelligence which appears to be remotely communicating to him and others, over time and space, has a sense a humour. The witnesses who drew his attention to the objects over Coney Island were in front of a Hair Salon, making he apparent "hair-hare" connection, back in 1995, but not realized until 2000!

"Your reply to my letter made me reel, Harold!" Gary H. replied the next day, June 12. "I now know that what I'm to send will flip your lid." He sent Egeln two photos of Sir John Trisham's Trianglular Lodge in England, built in 1595, and used at times as a "Warryners Lodge" for a keeper taking charge of rabbits at one time.

But what startled Gary H. was Egeln's description of the two triangular arrays over Coney (as in rabbit) Island, one half the size of the other. He sent the two photos of the Triangle Lodge below, with carved triangles near the top, with a larger triangle surrounded by smaller triangles, roughly half the size!

A MESSAGE HOPS ACROSS TIME AND SPACE?

************The TRIANGULAR LODGE, shown above in the English countryside. Is it really connected with the daytime UFO sighting over Coney Island in Brooklyn, USA in September 1995? Apparently so, as it is suggested from the preceding account, representing a likely, probable communication not fully realized until almost five years after the sighting due to a connection made in England in early 2000.

The implications are "Hare-Raising!" if some superior intelligence can make communication in this remarkably brilliant way!---which makes us figure it out, for as yet mysterious, unknown reasons. And who is doing this? We still do not know!

A "SETI" CLOSER TO HOME

Now, of all days that this insight emerged, SPACE was contacted, on June 12, by Walter Williams, director of the Organization for SETV Research (OSR). SETV---the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Vistitations, is a scientific search model for visitations from ET-probes., a serious non-ufology grouping of scientists, astronomers, engineers, techicians, physicists, contractors and others, some of whom are now taking an interest in the social aspects of ET visitations.

OSR-SETV, which has been exploring those social interactive aspects, has found suggestions that ETs, in near-Earth proximity, may be able to remotely interact with humans, without physical contact, suggesting that they are naturally telepathic or use high-tech quantum-psionic devices, maybe.

"SETV is a scientific based endeavor to collect meaningful and unambigious data on objects in Earth's atmosphere or our solar system which may provide evidence of visitations from intelligent probes of extaterrestrial origin," states the introduction to SETV, "a heterotic search model," which combines searches for ET artifacts and optical/micowave SETI.

OSR and SETV, we must state clearly, are NOT affiliated with ufology and alien abductions, nor engaged in such research. They are aspects of SETI offering different approaches to SETI.

While SETI looks for radio microwaves and Optical SETI for light or laser waves, SETV looks for alien probes and artifacts within our solar system. (Visit its site on our Links Page)

Egeln finds it rather fantastic that OSR made its "Contact with SPACE" at the very time this new breakthrough insight by Egeln and Gary emerged over ET remote comunication, over time and space, almost as if the contact was designed.

But this is all consistent with the PATTERN of this interaction over the years, as documented in SPACE's webpages, from Encounters involving direct contact, dreams, stealth visitations, synchronistic events. skywatches and other aspects.

SOMBRERO SYNCHRONICITY

A week prior to OSR's contact, Egeln had a vivid dream of the Sombrero Galaxy (NGC4594 or M104), never dreaming of galaxies before, and felt that it was "intelligently probing Earthward." On June 12 when OSR sent its website and Egeln saw it for the first time, the SETV Logo Image drew his attention. It was the Earth with a conical beam to what first looked like a flying saucer, but he quickly noticed it was the beautifully structured Sombrero Galaxy, and checked the SETV Logo page. He found it was, indeed, the Sombrero Galaxy which he dreamed about one week before.

The logo was created by Scot Stride, a co-founder of SETV and a telecommunications/RF engineer at JPL, and prime organizer of SETV material.

It is really time for Science and the work on the extraordinary experiences of visitation witnesses, to develop the search models together that may uncover the "WOW!" signals apparently being received right here on Earth, while the continuing search goes on through traditional searches, via microwave and photons, for life elsewhere.

Perhaps there are other "SCHRODINGER'S RABBITS" about to jump out of more magical hats!? So, in calling for the scientific community to pay attention to the science in visitations, we will now explore the implications, as follows, to show why this must be done.

Is this Breakthrough WOW! directed not only at S.P.A.C.E. but at OSR and SETV? We think that may be the case, as we shall shortly see; there will be specific references in some of the following material, also, to "William(s)" which could be directed at OSR and SETV by this Unknown Intelligence, as will be explained.

What may seem far-fetched may be nearer than we could ever imagine or dream!!

"WOW!" SIGNALS THAT ARE REPEATABLE.....

THE STARTLING IMPLICATIONS OF THIS BREAKTHOUGH What has been told through the above Coney Island Incident and its connections through time and space, with an array of multiple participants, provides not only strong circumstantial evidence of an otherworldy presence on Earth remotely interacting with encounter explorers on many levels, but offers additional compelling circumstantial evidence of an extraordinarily brilliant and highly sophisticated consciousness and intelligence that is apparently able to orchestrate events, people, places, times, dreams, staged sightings, words, images and more with deliberate intent, synchronistic skills and artistic performances which cries out for study and action on our part, as stated in the last few paragraphs. If looked at with conservative caution, these cannot be random coincidences nor is a fertile imagination responsible for these observations, as some may naturally and understandably conclude. Something seems to at work behind the scenes, interfacing with us. It's the difference, roughly, between playing BINGO and CHESS. *** *** *** For your review here, early on this page thus far, is the chain of items that are linked together, as if theatrically produced and directed with more to come: 1) The "missing time" episode involving Joseph Wiek and Harold Egeln at the Sheridan Square coffee shop on January 12, 1993, which took place on a Manhattan block in a triangular shape, within a grouping of at least five other triangular blocks. (As related on the Dream Encounters Page) ******************************** 2) The dream by a woman---told to Egeln the night before Wiek and Egeln met to share notes on their separate hypnosis sessions about Jan. 12th--- of "a flying saucer rimmed by seven trumpets" (A radio announcement just now told of a "horn concerto" coming up). *************************** 3) When meeting the night after the related dream account, Wiek telling Egeln about an "alien carrying a trumpet" (without his knowledge of the related dream told to Egeln). ************************** 4) The May 27, 1993 interactive sightings by a SPACE Skywatch team in Brewster, New York in which three white lights formed a perfect equalateral triangular formation in response to the team of 14 people's request. (see Close Encounters of the Contact Kind Page.) ************************** 5) The interaction of July 26, 1993, with a SPACE Away Team in Brewster and a contact team, led by crop circle researcher Colin Andrews, at Stonehenge in England, which resulted in the following: A) A triangular cloud curving into position over the Brewster group...A rectangular cloud doing the same manuvuer at Stonehenge. B) The experiencer who roared in fear at the approaching sound of unseen, stealth walkers....And a man roaring like a lion or bear, for no reason, he said, aloud at Stonehenge. C) The frightened man on the SPACE team, when coming home to his apartment/flat in Brooklyn, discovering a crystal rabbit on a chain on the floor, that had no way of being placed there. D) The subsequent learning about a crop circle formation that occured on July 26 (the same day as the tandem overseas experiment) in Herkimer, New York...where Andrews had visited to check out the county's famous diamonds just two months before (in May 1993) and just prior to a daytime tour by SPACE of the Brewster region. ******************************* 6) The Coney Island Sighting of mid-September 1995 by Egeln and witnesses outside a hair salon on Third Avenue, with these aspects: A) The seven white objects with two sets of three forming downward pointed equalateral triangular arrays, one half the size of the other formation. B) The call from a woman, just prior to the sighting, in Massachusetts, referred by Dr. MacK's PEER, about her sighting of a triangular craft. ************************* 7) The communications, via e-mail near mid-June, from "Gary H." in England about the Triangular Lodge, built in the 1590's with its upper wall decorations displaying large triangles surrounded by smaller triangles, with the information from Gary H. about this coming after reading Egeln's e-mail about the 1995 Coney Island sighting. ************************************** 8) The Rabbit Connection: A) The realization of the apparent staged sighting over Coney Island...with "Coney" an Olde English word for wild rabbits... connecting the 1995 sighting by this Intelligence with foreknowledge (?) of the connection to be made in June 2000 regarding the Triangular Lodge, also called by its builder, Sir Thomas Tresham, "The Warryners Lodge" for its keeper in charge of rabbits. B) Two "Houses full of Rabbits" from Minnesota in 1973 and in Florida in 2000. (This information will follow shortly after this section.) C) The appearance of a little rabbit on Interstate highway 95 in New England, July 16, 2000 and the connection of 95 with the year of the Coney Island sighting, 1995 (coming up on a new item.) D) Connections to Rabbit Heather, Easter, a rabbit happening in a church and a shop, a recent movie rabbit mention, and a rabbit pub sign (all coming up later on this page). E) Tangent, Indirect Rabbit Links: a) The photographing by an experiencer of a rather large Rabbit shaped in the mist during an interaction with nonhumans near an active UFO site outside New York, looking like the "Harvey" in the famous James Stewart 1950 movie or the White Rabbit from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland." The witness, when he showed the image to regular UFO investigators, shunned him afterwards, telling him that there is no connection between rabbits and the visitation experience. b) Egeln, as a small child, screaming aloud in a department store at the sight of the Easter Bunny with huge slanted eyes at Easter time, then seeing a second large Easter Bunny, making him scream even more, but told by his parents, hurrying him out the store, that there was no second bunny. c) And many more Rabbit connections yet to be reported as this Page grows like Wonderland's Alice getting larger. *********************************** 9) "The Three Knocks" link in the chain, which was not reported above. On June 20, 2000 Gary H. sent pages from Whitley and Anne Strieber's book "The Communion Letters" regarding "the Nine Knocks," which Whitley reported in his 1988 book "Transformation." That incident involved him hearing three groupings of three loud knocks on his upstate New York cabin's walls. He then learned, after "Transformation" was released, of a serious of three groupings of three knocks, totalling nine knocks, heard in nearly every house and building in a Colorado town, which happened before "Transformation" was published. He published that information a few years later in his book, "Breakthrough." Gary H. sent an account on June 19, 2000 of Sir Tresham's writing of an incident at the Triangular Lodge, 400 years ago. While sitting down for dinner with two servants present, after discussing a trestise about the "need of proof for God" --"at that instant Three loud knocks, as if it had been with an iron hammer," banged on the wainscot table, without an explainable source. Strieber felt that the whole Nine Knocks scenario gave strong circumstanial evidence for proof of "the visitors reality" and saw the process as "an initiation." Egeln, upon returning from evening news assignments on June 19, 2000 played back three messages from one person left on his phone answering machine during the day asking for unspecified information. As he read Gary H.'s e-mail about the Three Knocks, as sent by Gary H. from attachments displaying the three pages from "The Communion Letters," Egeln began to look for his copy. As he stood up, the phone rang. It was the man who had an unknown question. "Harold, sorry to bother you as I know you're very busy, but I have a question about The Communion Letters book." As if this were all staged and planned by a deliberate, intentful intelligence, part of a chain of links! ************************* 10) The remarkable synchronicity of the scientific, non-ufology organization SETV, the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Visitations, contacting SPACE on June 12, 2000 just as this breakthrough was developing, and the scientists' interest "in the social aspects of visitations" and SETV's "studies suggesting that ETs are able to interact with humans remotely without physical contact." Also there are references in independent events to the name William(s), which make a possible connection with a SETV leader, as we will soon see. ************************* 11) The image of the trumpet, as related to the image through Wiek's regression in early 1993, and the dream of a flying saucer rimed with seven trumpets: A) About five years later while Egeln was at the site of the Jan. 12, 1993 interaction at the Sheridan Square Coffee Shop, now named Mythology, he saw a truck pass near-by with a trumpet image on it with the letters near it spelling out S.I.R. (a musical instrument firm), a possible clue to learning about "Sir Thomas Tresham," the 16th Century builder of Triangular Lodge. B) Shortly thereafter, a large Mack truck stopped for a red light outside the restaurant. It had the words "LUNA TRANSPORT" on it. It's as close to "space transport" as one can get. Also, maybe a subtle reference to LUNA Park in Coney Island? And the restaurant is just off Seventh Avenue, as in Seven Trumpets. C) After a photo shoot by photographers hoping for a piece in LIFE Magazine about experiencers, with text by Whitley Strieber, in January 1998 at Sheridan Square, where Three Witnesses of encounters were photographed (Wiek, Egeln and Lorie Barnes), the group went into Mythology. (Now, in 2000, a Starbucks). In the restaurant the actress Olympia Dukakis of "Moonstruck" movie fame just happened to be dining. The man who found the rabbit-on-the-chain in 1993 formed his own UFO witness support group in 1997. He called it "The Moonstruck Group" beacuse it meets at The Moonstruck Diner! D) A "Flying Horn" image photographed just north of Sheridan Square by the Jefferson Market in 1993 by someone who was unaware of the "trumpet" connection to the Sheridan Square 1993 interaction. Jefferson Market is a triangular-shaped block wth almost half of it home to the triangular-shaped Jefferson Market Public Library, topped by a clock tower. E) And the account in Lewis Carroll's "Alice In Wonderland" of the White Rabbit (who kept checking his watch very much like Joseph Wiek did in the Sheridan Square Coffee Shop during the apparent "missing time" episode on January 12, 1993) and how it relates to this whole amazing chain of events. In the "Wonderland" story, the White Rabbit blows a horn (trumpet) to herald the Queen's game of croquet. *********************************** There are many more connections, making for an overwhelming chain of links, way beyond normal chance coincidence. What is presented here seems to be a communication from an incredible Intelligence that has planned its communication with deliberate design through artistic theatrical-like orchestrations that extend beyond present limits of knowledge. We, in SPACE, can no longer ignore the implications. Other similar chains of interactions, as documented and not documented on our SPACE site, show a consistent pattern of intent, with constant re-inforcements and repeatable clues, by a stupendous consciousness whose source and precise motivations remain Unknown. Within the Encounter Experience is a clear extra-intelligent signal, directed through encounter witnesses, from an unknown otherworldly intelligence who has not only made its reality known, in unexpected ways, but is in regular communication, one of an extraordinary nature. Remember the character of Roy Neary in the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" sculpting his mashed potatoes into the shape of the Devil's Tower and saying to his family "This means something?" Unlike the "WOW!" signal received by a SETI scientist at Ohio State University in 1977, and never again repeated, despite many searches necessary for confirmation, the "WOW!" signal through visitations and interactions as documented here have been repeatable and confirmed through various sources, although their origins and sources remain elusive. A "Rabbit" has led us through a Wonderland, now being mapped by science, of "an Elegant Universe" and explored firsthand by we who are experiencers brought into that Wonderland. The radio telescope used by SETI which detected the one-time, unconfirmed "Wow!" signal at Ohio State University in 1977 is now long gone, replaced by a golf course, a game which is a cousin of croquet, the game announced by the Rabbit blowing a trumpet in "Alice In Wonderland." "Curiouser and curiouser...." said Alice in Wonderland. On June 23, 2000 Harold Egeln received the following e-mail from Lorie B. in response to his request for feedback on "The Breakthrough." Lorie B. is the woman photographed in the Sheridan Square area with Joseph Wiek and Egeln for the magazine piece Whitley Strieber was working on, and she had been his secretary in the late 1980's and early 1990's handling is huge volumn of correspondence.

"Harold, another WOW for you that you and I never discussed....Three days before I got my first call from Anne Strieber to meet them for brunch in the Village in 1986 (our first planned meeting), a UPS man delivered to my door a TRIANGLE shaped package, which turned out to be a current board game, called Omega, that I never heard of and had NOT ordered!

"There was no return address, and UPS said it was just sent directly from a factory in New England. Just one word was scrawled across the wrapping: CONGRATULATIONS! Absolutely no one I knew had sent it. It has remained a mystery.

"It was at my meeting with Whitley three days later that I first revealed a few of my lifelong experiences to the world.

"As for Alice In Wonderland, it was my Very FAVORITE book as a girl. My second daughter (the one I was pregnant with in 1959, when three little beings visited and probably abducted me) recently gave me an old, hard edition of it as a gift.

"BUT I WAS ALWAYS SCARED BY THE WHITE RABBIT, and used to have "nightmares" about him!"

Maybe they're trying to teach us all how to do that and it still has to be through WOW! signals because we are not very skilled at that as yet? This is difficult for us to do because we've all been brought up to deny that there is any such thing as the extraordinary or supernatural.

OF RABBITS & TRIANGLES

Received these two accounts from experiencer RE on June 28, entries from his journal in 1988 and 1989:

"APRIL 13, 1988----Woke up during the night and saw a RED ball about 8 inches in diameter and a white isosceles TRIANGLE, 6 inches by 8 inches, on the wall over my dresser. The ball disappeared and the TRIANGLE expanded and contracted as it danced back and forth on the wall."

"JANUARY 8, 1989---My alarm wrist watch inadvertebntly went off at THREE A.M. When I opened my eyes there was a considerable amount of light on the ceiling and wall at the foot of my bed. (My room is blacked out and you literally cannot see your hand in front of your face day or night.)

"On the ceiling I could see the shadows of tree branches. On the wall there were also silhouettes of soething indistinguishable because of pictures hanging there. They (the shadows) started moving towards the closet, relatively fast compared to other images in the past.

"When they cleared the picture on the wall, I could distinquish what appeared to be two RABBITS sitting n their haunches surrounded by ranches on he wall and ceiling. (They were about 1 1/2 feet tall.) The entire image was about 5 feet by 5 feet. I could see the patterns of the wallpaper very clearly and the ceiling was very bright.

(Later he awoke to "another show" which include another, well you guessed it....)

"Later a THIRD RABBIT appeared. Again, same size and place. It just appeared to be a bunch of branches and it moved katty cornered around the ceiling to the living room door. However, instead of a white background, it was very light green."

"Last night, around midnight, I was on Interstate 95 heading back to Rhode Island from Bronxville, New York. It was pouring rain like a tropical storm. And there, in the middle of the highway, sat a little RABBIT just looking around.

"I put 20,000 miles a year on my car and this is the first time I have ever seen a rabbit on an interstate!

"I have seen a lot of them around my yards and on country roads, but never, ever on an interstate highway...."

Rabbit Comment--by Harold Egeln, July 16, 2000

When I saw this e-mail, I saw it as yet another confirmation and validation, seemingly staged to re-inforce the communication/contact now happening.

And why Interstate highway 95? Perhaps that specific location was "chosen" because of the number 95. It was the Coney Island UFO sighting of September 1995 that sparked the insight opening up the breakthrough. So, Interstate 95 seems to be a deliberate reference, by intent and design, to the year 1995 with the Coney Island sighting, and the word Coney associated with rabbits.

The person who saw the rabbit in th middle of the highway was the same one who saw "rabbits" in his bedroom among the shadows, described just before this item.

Today (July 16) I was with a friend at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. I was hoping to see a rabbit, since they are known to be living there. In the Native Plant Garden one appeared, peeking from behind a small log.

The little Eastern Cottontail rabbit came out from hiding and paused about two feet in front of us, unafraid as it did not hop away, enabling me to take a few photographs, before it moved onto the path and away from us. Before leaving that particular garden, we saw it again, fulling a second wish.

Within two minutes of leaving the garden, on our way to "the forest" part of the gardens, a group of people walked by us. We then both overheard them talking about, ",,,the Alice In Wonderland statue in Central Park....," referring to the famous statue there. They were not coming from the garden we were in.

What an appropriate, timely and synchronistic comment to overhear!

"MY GOD, IT'S FULL OF RABBITS!"

The fictional astronaut Dave Bowman in Arthur C. Clarke's "2001--A Space Odyssey" exlaimed, "My God, it's full of stars!" when his space capsule approached the Jupiter monolith. When Meryl J. approached her house and found it was full of rabbits, it took her over 20 years to think it rather strange. She writes below:

"This happened in Ann Arbor, Michigan, perhaps in 1973. I drove home from work and the garage door was closed. My son, looking a bit bug-eyed, opened the front door (there was a screen door) and said that I shouldn't open the garage door, because the house was full of RABBITS!

"He had been trying to herd as many as possible into the garage, which was attached to the house. He called the farmer father of a friend, asked if he would like to have the rabbits, and he came over in his truck, with lots of cages, collected the rabbits from my house, and took them away. We didn't count the rabbits, he just threw them into the cages.

"But there were an awful lot of them, maybe 100. They were, of course, WHITE RABBITS.

"What was strangest about all this is that it didn't strike any of us as strange back then! Our response was, 'Uhuh, the house is full of RABBITS!' We explained to each other that a truck must have had an accident and the rabbits must have fallen off.

"In my locked house? How did they get in there? Through the chimney? And never mind that the house was on a dead end street. Equally strange is we had two dogs and several cats, and they should've been going crazy over all the rabbits, and they just ignored them.

"It took well over 20 years for me to realize that this was very strange indeed, and my son still insists that the rabbits must have fallen off a truck."

RABBIT REDEUX

No, we're not talking about the famous John Updike novel here, but a new development, for the rabbits are back at a house. On July 11 SPACE South director Roberta Puhalski sent an e-mail to Egeln, as follows:

"Yes, this is a breakthrough. Rabbits. Well, dear, I will tell about rabbits. Here in my new house in Florida they are reproducing UNDER MY HOUSE!!!!

"I just keep seeing them every time I come home. There's a neighnor who told me that they were living and reproducing UNDER MY HOUSE.

"Rabbits, Rabbits EVERYWHERE!!!"

What elegant timing and what a place with a highly specific person (our SPACE-South Director) for this to happen, thought Egeln.

THE HELICOPTERS......

When Harold Egeln began placing this Breakthrough information on this website on the evening of June 21st, he began to alert a group of about a dozen core SPACE group members, to get feedback.

While it seemed they could all bring up this page on the site, Meryl J. could not, try as she might but without success, to her great frustration, as if she were being blocked, even though she could access the other pages on our website.

When she got a message from Egeln about it all getting "curiorser and curiorser" on Friday night, June 23rd, there arose such a racket outside her apartment building near the Hudson River here in New York City, as she observed two huge helicopters, followed by a smaller third one, hovering over her building, forcing some people to run outside to see what was going on.

A couple of days later she heard from an oldtime friend, who lives in Arkansas, who has shared a lot of synchronicities with her over the years. She had just returned from a week of meetings in San Antonio, Texas. On the night of June 21st a rather large helicopter hovered over the building in San Antonio, creating a huge racket.

A few days later, while waiting for her airplane to take off, she spotted a "large patch of red" on he ground. She turned away for just a moment and when she glanced back, it was gone, mystifying her. Meryl connected the red color with her own very strong impressions of red, before learning of Lorie B's red package.

Note: San Antonio is where Whitley Strieber has been living since he moved from his beloved upstate New York cabin a few years ago, forced ot by no choice of his own.

AND ANOTHER TRUMPET...

Meryl J. let us know just the other day (it is now June 29, 2000) that before becoming involved with SPACE a few years ago she was talking with Joseph Wiek on the phone, and he told her about the trumpet image in his and Egeln's Sheridan Square episode and of the dream of a flying saucer rimmed with seven trumpets.

She then told him of a dream that she just had (this is about four years ago) involving a trumpet. She was in a very large room, with a long table. Around the table was her "ET family," she said, who knew who she was, but she did not know them.

A young teenage girl then asked her uncle if she could have "a toy trumpet." Then Meryl J. spoke up, suggesting that he give her "a real trumpet."

Meryl J. thought it was strange that, when hearing Wiek's trumpet account, that she would have a "trumpet dream" involving her "ET family" just prior to contacting SPACE. Egeln was unaware of her dream until today, June 29th.

NOTE: Sometimes communication-type dreams happen to experiencers just prior to meeting Egeln and others in SPACE. There will be a discussion of this aspect eventually on our Dream Encounters Page.

AND NOW THE ELEVATORS....

As the weekend began, Egeln heard a radio news report of a power failure on Manhattan's Upper west Side, on West 91st Street. Three large apartment buildings were effected, but the report said that"only the elevators and hallways had no power" and that the apartment units were not affected, with an electrical company calling it a "low voltage power failure.'

What first caught Egeln's attention was the mention of 91st Street. t was another 91st Street, in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where he saw the UFOs over Coney Island.

Also images of elevators pop up several times in recall of possible visitations. It was notable that the power outage affected elevators....on 91st Street. Maybe all pure coincidence, of course, but it all keeps getting "curiorser and curiorser."

And that "young teenaged girl" in Meryl's dream seems an awful like Alice in Wonderland at that long table at the Mad Hatters' Tea Party.

THE PORTUGESE RABBIT HOUSE

When Meryl J. returned from one of her son's wedding in Portugal on July 25, she took note again of the Rabbit connection in her life. The last name of her son's wife means "Rabbit" in Portugese. The family's country, rural house is filled with Rabbit items, pictures, and decorations.

We are now (or so it seems!) being delivered an apparent communication on an ongoing basis, rich in images and symboliism, stretched over time and space among several people, with pointed intent.

WHO or WHAT is making the enchanted delivery, which has no return address, and what do we make of it?

"THE NOOSPHERE" and NOETIC SCIENCE

The game in Lorie B.'s triiangular package was a game called OMEGA, a word for "the end" or culmination. One immediate association is the "Omega Point" discussed in the book "The Phenomenon of Man" by Teilhard de Chardin, the 20th century European palenontolgist and Jesuit father

He saw the consciousness of humanity rapidly evolving into a group mind, from the enrichment of individuals, which formed a "noosphere" around the Earth, kind of a collective consciousness.

Somewhat like Dr. Carl Jung's "collective unconscious" which spawns symbols such as in Jung's book, "Flying Saucers: A Myth Seen in the Skies." But what would have these scholars thought of what is being described in SPACE's "Breakthrough Experience?"

(---At a Dalton's bookstore on July 1 Egeln is checking out a book by a JPL-NASA scientists on the subject of "mind, matter and spirituality," opening to the last page, as is his habit, reading about Teilhard de Chardin and the "noosphere." At that very moment he hears a child ask someone about "Br'er Rabbit," which catches his synchronistic attention.

Checking his e-mail after 11 that evening, he opens an e-mail from RL (of the "3 Rabbits" in his bedroom in 1989). RL writes on July 1, 10:55 p.m.: "I just finished reading the last page of your website when you made reference to Teilhard de Chardin. Would you believe that about two hours ago I picked up an old Webster's New World Dictionary in my house today and on the inside cover somebody had written in pencil "Teilhard de Chardin."---)

"FATHER WILLIAM": SETV "MEETS" ALICE

That's not all, folks. This evening (July 2, 2000) Egeln came home and checking his e-mails, had this new one from Lorie B.:

"Here's another WOW...Last night I was out to dinner and saw a friend at the next table, sitting with an older man in regular clothes, with white hair. I went over to say hello and was introduced to this man, His name is "FATHER WILLIAMS," obviously a priest in civilain clothes.

"Do you remember, from Alice In Wonderland: 'You are old, FATHER WILLIAM, the young man said, and your hair has become very white; and you incessantly stand on your head---Do you think at your age, it is right?'

"I've always been convinced that Lewis Carroll had the visitor experience," said Lorie B., something Egeln has wondered about too.

What Lorie B. did not know was that when this insight came on June 12th leading to the breakthrough, it was the same day that the Oganization for SETV Research (OSR), a Scientific Search for Visitation from Extraterrestrial Probes, contacted SPACE.

One of the two founders of OSR-SETV is Walt WILLIAMS, a military hardware/software development contractor, making the contact with SPACE.

"Harold, WOW! I did not realize the significance of "Father Williams" until you e-mailed me. All I know was that the rhyme ran through my head all night, andI woke up at 5:00 A.M mumbling it to myself," wrote Lorie B to Egeln on July 2.

"I have no doubt that there is more than just serendipitous communication going on with us experiencers," she added.

Perhaps this very specific synchronicity, directly alerting us of the name WILLIAMS, was a "staged event" to show the intelligence behind all this that they are aware of OSR-SETV and were communicating that in their own way.

As in the realm of synchroncity, there seem to be levels and layers of meaning. Here we have a contractor named Walt Williams of OSR-SETV, Father Williams whom Lorie B. met having dinner with her friend, and the imaginary Father William of the fantasy Alice In Wonderland---Science, the Spiritual and the Imaginal meet through SETV's Walt Williams. Carroll's Father William, and a real Father Williams at a city restaurant,--- a union discussed in the field of quantum physics, and at the most recent SPACE Public Seminar.

Among those sitting at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party are Teilhard de Chardin, Dr. Carl Jung, Lewis Carroll, sipping quantum cups of tea with ingredients of science, spirit and imagination.

Where is that rascally Rabbit taking us?

A HALL OF MIRRORS

The following account was given to Egeln on July 4 by a supporter of SPACE. The dream occured about six days before (around June 28).

"I had a VERY VIVID dream of several mirrors which contained very hazy images of little grey aliens...but they were not standing in front of the mirrors. You could see their images in "the looking glasses." The images kept fading in and out, one on top of the other. Then I woke up."

It was four in the morning. She then noticed the four dinning room lights coming on by themselves, very dimly. In "ITs" Mirror Universe, a Wonderland to humans, a signal comes through a dream.

On July 1 just as Joseph Wiek opened his e-mails from Egeln about the Breakthough, he heard a Jefferson Airplane song on his radio, a song he hears only a couple of times a year. It was "Go Ask Alice" about the White Rabbit.

Then on July 8, a week later, it happened again! Wiek writes: "The SAME RABBIT song came on the radio again while I was driving on the SAME road in the SAME location" today.

WHY THE CHESHIRE CAT GRINS

Whoever is making the contact RIGHT NOW is interacting with us with a full awareness of images and connections which are familiar to us, but which are seemingly placed in the context of a riddle which has as much to do with our inner spaces as, perhaps, outer space.

Whoever they are, they seem to be masters of abbrograting both time and space, the subjective and objective, as we understand them. And has us in the midst of an ongoing and developing Contact Situation.

"This is all pretty heady stuff--Wow!" writes the gentle woman (on July 7) who dreamed of the mirrors with the "greys" inside them. "I wonder how it will further unfold. What Harold said about them dwelling and working from within the 'Mirror Dimension' really strikes a very deep chord."

"Everyone's 'Message' is really quite stunning and rather endearing," she writes. "The Father Williams bit is extremely awesome and all of these references really make one look further inward about how much his dimension is the real illusion--the Maya--of existence."

"Well, the Little Guys have always been very clever taskmasters, to be sure," she writes.

One is reminded of Michael Talbot's marvelous work, "The Holographic Universe," explaining how this reality may be a reflection of a grander realm, and of the superstring theory that our reality is a vibration on those superstrings.

Hey, everyone, this is deep science at the heart of this "Coney Island Communication" reflected in the elegant visitation interaction now flowering.

At an opening party for a new Barnes and Noble in Brooklyn Heights in New York on July 11, Egeln looks at a wall mural of famous Brooklyn scenes, both old and new.

As to be expected, there is a scene of Coney Island, specifically a ride at Luna Park nearly a century ago. Juxtapositioned just to the left of the scene are the words:

"This SPACE (our emphasis here) may be used for correspondence after March 1, 1907..." Near and under that is, as if in an emphasisi, are the words, near a bridge, "This SPACE for writing messages..."

Gary H. goes away on a country trip on the weekend beginning July 7. On his return on July 11 he e-mails Egeln the following:

"Whilst on about synchronicity. I went on a long weekend getaway with a group to a caravan camp near a river. As we entered the drive to the entrance of this site, there was a pub sign with...

"CONEYGEARE on it, along with a picture of a Crown and a RABBIT.

"At first I thought I had been set up, so to speak, but no one knew that sign was there... (It was) possibly once an area where rabbits were farmed in olden days...

"It is most interesting in the fact that very few pub signs have anything to do with rabbits (if you know anything about English pub signs, that is). Most names are, The Black Bull, The Red Lion, The white Heart, The Green Man, The Dog and Duck, The Royal Oak, etc.

"Seldom do the signs have anything to do with rabbits. From all of his I get the very warm feeling that 'things' are heading in the right direction, whatever that is."

A short time before Gary H. sent the following e-mail to Egeln, June 26th:

"From the pages of the book, 'UFOs: A British Point of View,' you may see that there has once again been a whole load of meaningful coincidences in a spasm highly concentrated around myself (?) again."

"You may also see that just as the people over here (in England) were having a problem in finding sufficient material for some programs, etc., A WHOLE LOAD OF THEM JUST FELL INTO THEIR HANDS, SO TO SPEAK. Does the same sort of situation apply in your case?"

"It is at this point, you, and your friends and associates, should look at what has happened around yourselves of late, and see if the same sort of thing could be said to have happened again."

"If so, what then would be the reason? Why would it have happened? What would it be of use to you?"

"I assure you that the phenomenon that you are researching, is also researching you, yourselves. Also with a view to make contact. Truth is, this is getting spooky, mate!"

THE MACRO-QUANTUM FACTOR!

The observer interacts with the observed, and the observed, as observer, interacts with us the observers, who are the observed.

"HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE: A QUANTUM STATE OF MIND"

That was the title of a "Science Times" article by Kenneth Chang which appeared in The New York Times on July 11, 2000 (page F3) looking at current academic studies by physicists on applying quantum mechanic principles to "macro-realities," the world of everyday life rather than observing the "micro-realities" of subatomic realms.

"In the realm of atoms and smaller particles, objects exist not so much as objects as mists of possibilities of being here or there or everywhere at the same time -- and then someone looks and the possibilites suddenly collapse to definate locations," writes Chang beginning the article.

If that is so on the subatomic level, from which the larger reality manifests, does the same thing happen, in its own way, in this larger everyday world? Physicists, in different ways, are looking at this through experiments at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

The sense one may get, so far, while reading through what is going on with this "breakthrough," is that quantum principles apply to our larger macro-realm, or something that seems quantum, and probably beyond the quantum, which may be an effective of something greater and now unknown.

SUPERPOSITION

Months after I wrote this, while re-reading Whitley Strieber's 1995 book "The Breakthrough: The Next Step," I re-discovered his own thoughts on this in "The Bottom of Time" chapter:

"There is a concept in quantum physics called superposition, which describes the indeterminate location of a particle in quantum space. But how could something as large as an entire human body ever follow laws that only function at the atomic levels and below? Surely quantum laws did not apply to large-scale objects like, say, me.

"We assume that quantum laws stop at a very small scale because the world around us appears to operate according to a much mre obvious physics....What if the body is a quanta? What if its very shape depends upon the mind?"

These observation follwed an episode of high strangeness Strieber experienced. ",,,the incredible is at the foundation of contact, and strangeness cannot and must not be edited out in the interest of believability....We live in a very bizzare corner of reality, we witnesses."

Thus we witnesses have rabbits in houses, separated by 27 years, apparent staged UFO sightings and orchestrated dreams, meaningful coincidences scattered over time and space, all involving multiple participants-witnesses ON A VERY EXPANSIVE CANVAS of Extraordinary Experiences that are suggestive of what physicists are studying.
