CHAPTER 11 -- A MID-SUMMERNIGHT'S WONDERLAND, JUNE-AUGUST 2002


 

JUNE SYNCS ARE BUSTING OUT ALL OVER

Our experiences of synchronicities is that they happen unexpectedly. But, with more experience, we have become alert at what could be the start of a "Sync Event" and almost predict what elements will emerge over a course of hours, like rabbits, time, red, Williams, Alice, trains, England and other parts of the repeatable pattern.

After finishing lunch at Scotty's Diner in Manhattan after noon, I noticed, looking out onto Lexington Avenue, a TIME MOVERS moving van parked across the street. By the time I could get outside, the small truck (lorry) began pulling away, losing a chance to photograph it. Not a sync, I told a friend with me, but possibly a harbinger?

After walking along a 15 block street festival just east of Times Square on Sixth Avenue from 42nd Street to 57th Street, we headed for Central Park to enjoy more of the outdoors.

 

We went to the marvelously enchanting huge Central Park Carousel to enjoy the music, mostly old songs set to waltzes and marches. Soon after settling down outside the historic carousel, we were told to move for a private party, so we were forced to sit on a bench about 25 feet from the magical ride, with a long line of people waiting to ride.

After awhile someone in a WHITE RABBIT costume appeared in front of us, talking to some people and children. On the back of his RED Vest was his name: RAPID T. RABBIT. Startled, I took photos of the huge Rabbit, there for the private party. I noted the time when I saw him. 3: 57 PM.

How timely! I said to my friend. For March 1957 (3 and 57) marked the Spring of 1957 when, as a boy, I had two "UFO sightings" over Camptown Gardens, the low-income apartment projects my family lived in in Irvington, New Jersey. Telling other chldren of my sightings led to my suspension from school and an enforced ban on my personal study of astronomy, with the destruction of related books, my telescope and mini-planetarium.

I snapped a couple of photos of the WHITE RABBIT with the RED vest riding joyfully on the famous carousel. As we departed for the Conservatory Pond in the park, over which the Delacourt ALICE in WONDERLAND statue overlooks the pond, the music being played was "My ALICE BLUE Gown," an early 20th Century pop tune.

And I wondered what would happen next.

 

Crossing the 72nd Street entrance and entering area of the Conservatory Pond, on which model boats sail, we heard a jazz band, with TRUMPETS, playing the famous TONY BENNETT song, "Fly Me To The MOON," with the singer, admist the trumpets, sounding a bit like the famed pop singer himself. "...show me what life is like on Jupiter and Mars..."

So, we had our SPACE connection with ALICE IN WONDERLAND, that being the statue of Alice, the White Rabbit, and Mad Hatter across the pond. It also made the USA-British connection, Bennett being American and Lewis Carroll English, with "the big pond' - the Atlantic Ocean - between them.

It occured to me later, after passing the 72nd Street park entrance, that the last manned Moon space flight, Apollo 17, happened in December 1972, the same month of my West Orange nighttime experience of December 5.

After dinner at a coffee shop on First Avenue, we hopped a M66 crosstown bus way over on Manhattan's East Side to get to the West Side and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Getting off on West 66th Street at Broadway the bus shelter displayed a large ad about the Tribeca Film Festival. The ad read:

"Shop the Downtown Street Where ALIENS battled MEN IN BLACK," referring to a scene from the first "Men In Black" movie filmed in lower Manhattan. We had been talking about MIBs earlier, and I happened to have my "MOTHMAN PROPHECIES" book by John Keel book along with me, rechecking it for the MIBs and precognition in the book.

The episodes in that book, made into an excellent movie this past February, began in WEST Virginia in late 1966. We were at WEST 66th Street.

Shortly afterwards, we saw the words "UFO" scrawled across a Learning Annex brochure box on the sidewalk. Immediately above it, acrosss the avenue, was a Morton WILLIAMS Associated Supermarket, making another Association.

ON A TRAIN

This evening taking the long trip on the subway train back home to Brooklyn, I was very sleepy. As the train pulled out of the next to last station before my final stop, I noticed a single magazine page on the train car floor.

It showed TONY BENNETT and a bottle of Tangueray LONDON Dry Gin on it, under a spotlight, reminding me of a light-beam from an overhead UFO. I took some pictures, and picked the ad up. It was from the May 2002 Vanity Fair magazine.

On the opposite side of the torn page was a section called "LETTER From LONDON" about "3:A.M. LIFE" in London, (the British link) and four references to the London tabloid newspaper "THE MIRROR."

(The British links coincide with the Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee Celebration at this time, with Bill Halley and the Comets "Rock Around the Clock" (a prime song in The Abduction Project play last year) the opening number after the queen launched a rocket, lighting the fireworks over Buckingham Place on the night of June 3.}

With all this, I feet as if I had been THROUGH the LOOKING GLASS, like Alice.

Then, during the night, I had a vivid DREAM, which included an outdoor TRAIN Station. While waiting at the station, a Streamlined WHITE TRAIN, resembling the old 20th Century Limited, roared rapidly through the station. Was the "T." on the name of the Central Park Carousel WHITE RABBIT's RED Vest "T" for both TIME and TRAIN?

Two nights later, on the morning of June 4, I had a vivid dream of several BLACK and SILVER STEAM TRAIN LOCOMOTIVES, traveling together in the same direction with thick grey smoke.

What a curious day June 1st has been!

TIME MOVERS, AN EPILOGUE

My first stop after arriving in Manhattan today to meet two Spacers for lunch was Bryant Park, the park behind the main city public library. To my delight, the new carousel called "Le Carousel," built near Coney Island, was finally operational, with children and adults riding it, including the Rabbit among the horses.

Proceeding towards Scotty's Diner, I purposely walked across East 39th Street, the block that has the WILLIAMS Club near the CARL JUNG Center. I was startled to see THREE TIME MOVERS moving company trucks (lorys), finishing moving stuff from a building across the block.

TIME MOVERS placed right on the block of "the father of synchronicty" and the Williams Club. Time Moves. Time is not what it seems. I snapped a photo of the scene.

I then noticed, at the southeast corner of Park Avenue and East 39th Street the name of the large apartment building, "THE GRIFFON - 77 Park Avenue," bringing in our Griffon images from New England and England from last July 24, 2001.

Arriving at Scotty's Diner, the coffee shop on Lexington Avenue at East 39th Street, my friends had not yet come. Then, while waiting outside, three of the TIME MOVERS panel trucks came barrelling around the corner from East 40th Street onto Lexington Avenue.

All three trucks, all white with black letters, stopped for the red light at East 39th Street, allowing me to take a photo, as I missed taking a photo of the TIME MOVERS truck/lory a week before. It was if I was given another chance. Seeing these TIME MOVER trucks in MEANINGFUL LOCATIONS happened to come at the RIGHT TIME.

The following day, Sunday, June 9, after attending a Handel's "Messiah Sing" at a church concert, I went downstairs for after-concert refreshments. There, next to a large vase of FLOWERS, was a large WHITE RABBIT stuffed doll.

WHITE RABBIIT'S EVER-STANDING INVITATION

On the eve of the second anniversary of the "Wow! Signal" Breakthrough I noticed a RED mini-car parked today outside our newspapers' office with a Bugs BUNNY sunscreen over one of the car's windows, not a sync in itself but certainly appropriate given what started to unfold in June 12, 2000. "There was nothing so very remarkable in that..." as Carroll told about Alice's first sighting of a rabbit near her as stated her Adventures In Wonderland.

This evening after work I was with a friend at the annual Museum Mile Festival along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan and we walked 14 blocks to the Museum of the City of New York, which I haven't visited in 14 years since 1988.

When we exited the elevator on the third floor I was startled to see the WHITE RABBIT from ALICE IN WONDERLAND, wearing its waistcoat and looking at its pocketwatch!

The four-foot high WHITE RABBIT statue was placed at the beginning of the museum's antiqueToy Exhibit section, featuring a mural of the original Central Park Children's Zoo, closed down under some protest in 1992 for a newly designed zoo.

The WHITE RABBIT stood under a 7-foot-talll sculpture of large FLOWERS, the pedals of which overhang the rabbit's head. The last time I saw a WHITE RABBIT next to FLOWERS was just two days before following a performance of Handel's MESSIAH.

In the large text under the display it was noted that the WONDERLAND WHITE RABBIT stood near the entrance of the zoo by a model of Noah's Ark for 31 years from 1961 to 1992. 1961 happens to be the year of the Betty and Barney Hlll's UFO incident and 1992 was the year SPACE began, a chance coincidence, of course.

There was a quote from Carroll's book on the display: "Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never seen a rabbit with either waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it....." Then the text, in the Museum's own words, says that the WHITE RABBIT "INVITES" visitors to look at the Toy Exhibit.

So, by pure chance and odd coincidental timing, on the eve of JUNE 12, just two years after the RABBIT INVITATION was keened by Gary in England connecting with the 1995 Coney Island "UFO Sighting" I and others had, I just happened to see ALICE's WHITE RABBIT, not expecting it.

The bloody ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND carry on....

Wednesday, JUNE 12, 2002

At work today I completed my articles on a state senator announcing his re-election bid, a city councilman sending a piece of the World Trade Center to Europe for a memorial in Rome, and worked on our high school graduation special section, among other general assignment newspaper work, plus doing page layouts of my stories and news photos, and proof-reading.

I even snuck in an item, without mentioning UFOs, about an upcoming Budd Hopkins seminar, a risky gesture that will not matter (alas!) to the Hopkins' people. (We are forbidden to write UFO stories unless we make fun of reports and witnesses, which I, as one can imagine, refuse to do. So none have been written in 13 years.)

IN OUR HANDS

This evening I watched a Public TV program, a 1983 film called "In Our Hands" about the largest peace demonstration ever in the United States, held in New York City with a march from the U.N. to a rally in Central Park on JUNE 12, 1982. I was one of the 1,000,000 participants.

Two years later, in May 1984, I was hired as the director of the Metropolitan New York City Council of the national Committee for a SANE Nuclear Policy, (now Peace Action) the nation's oldest and largest anti-nuclear weapons organization, and for five years I was the prime organizer and professional coordinator for the city Council's six chapters and 7,000 members.

Since facing court-martial while at Fort Dix, New Jersey in 1966 for refusing to learn military combat during the Vietnam War, I have been a peace activist, involved in many actions locally and nationally, and several organizations (the Bloomfield New Jersey Peace Committee, Johnny Appleseed Peace Committee, Bay Ridge Peace Coalition, Coalition for a Nuclear-Free, the Center for Pyschological Issues in the Nuclear Age, and more).

Of course there is no connection between the June 12, 1982 anti-nuke march and the June 12, 2002 "WOW!" Signal Breathrough," except for the coincidence of dates, and I will not make anything out of that connection, though some may.

However, towards the end of the 90-minute documentary film there was a scene of someone dressed in a WHITE RABBIT costume dancing in the street in the Peace March, giving us our BUNNY LINK for June 12, -- 18 years apart.

FORTEAN RABBITS

On JUNE 17, 2002 Harold Egeln receives an e-mail from a Spacer who has had rabbit syncs. Her e-mail contains an excerpt of an e-mail she received from a friend, who also had rabbit syncs, which reports:

"FORTEAN TIMES had an article this month on a UFO case in Columbia in 1969 involving a bunch of rabbits that came onto the road and blocked traffic before and after the sighting. And, it's pointed out in the article, that the first recorded 'UFO abduction' was a 1950 carton where BUGS BUNNY was 'whisked off by a flying saucer.' It lists RABBIT related UFO inks, (a page from the S.P.A.C.E. website) and Saucer Smear."

It was not possible to find the June issue of the "Fortean Times," a British publication, here in New York City. But he connection with "Saucer Smear" is significant, because that is the publication by longtime UFO researcher James Moseley, involved in Ufolology and "ufoology," as he terms it, since 1953.

On June 9 Egeln purchased Moseley's and co-author Karl Pflock's new book, "Shockingly Close to the Truth: Confessions of a Grave-Robbing Ufologist" about Moseley's life in the UFO Field. His entertaining and intimately revealing book dwells mostly in the personalities in the UFO Field, and Moseley's own role as a "uFOOLogy" Trickster, which is shockingly close to the truth about UFOs.

Egeln attended Moseley's last UFO Conference held in New York City in 1980 at the Doral Inn.

NOT EXACTLY SYNCS BUT INTERESTING

When is a synchronicity not? Like the following.

On Monday, JUNE 24, 2002 while walking back to the newspaper office between outside news assignments, I noticed a parked U-Haul truck from New Mexico with a huge space alien artwork and the word Roswell, along with a crashed flying saucer.

After a brief stop at the office, I go to my next news assignment to interview the two top graduates at a local high school. I asked the valedictorian what her address will be about. She tells me that she is using the theme of "Alice In Wonderland" as it applies to education. I am charmed by this.

In early July we receive a press release atthe newspaper office about "Alice In Wonderland: A New Musical" by a local theatre group, the Brooklyn Family Theatre, which performs in a church, the Church of the Gethsemane. I am enchanted. Of course I will see the musical play and do a newspaper article, like I did with a puppet musical of the Carroll story a few months ago.

Also, for the past two months I am being beseiged by unsolicited, unwelcomed e-mails, a couple containing computer viruses (which do not affect Web-TV units as I have) about a new book about WILLIAMS Wordsworth.

BACK TO CONEY ISLAND

Curiouser and curiouser! Exactly 50 years, a full half century, after UFOs overflew the U.S. capital violating secure airspace with jets scrambled to intercept them, an effort by a source in all probablity connected with those overflights, apparently, is taking us, at least, back to Coney Island.

The whole synchronistic-and-Matrix-driven Contact is getting more sophisticated, with a big dose of Disneyland!

This Monday (July 22) a news story broke in the city dailies about the Walt Disney Corp. quietly investigating a project at Coney Island, home of Astroland USA, the Wonderwheel and hot dogs, and once home to Luna Park and Dreamland in the early 20th Century.

And also, for us, a key place along with the Triangular Lodge in England that led to our breakthrough insights and discoveries of June 12, 2000, as told in our first chapter.

"Coney Island was named after a rabbit -- but it may be taken over by a mouse," read the lead paragraph in the N.Y. Post page four article by Dan Mangan. The article later mentions "the une-covered land the Dutch settlers dubbed Konijn Eiland, or Rabbit Island.

Today at work at the newspapers I work for, I wrote a major news article, after interviewing the Coney Island Chamber of Commerce president, about the rumors of Disney Corp. considering a project in Coney Island, which first surfaced in "Crain's New York Business."

Coming home after a busy day at the news office, I check what's up on Peter Robbins' UFOcity dot com website, going to features.

There I spot an entry made on July 23 titled: DISNEY, UFOS AND DISCLOSURE, contributed by Grant Cameron.

The feature is about Ward Kimball, one of Walt Disney's group of original highly talented animators, who was responsible for creating the cartoon figures of The Cheshire Cat, The March Hare and The Mad Hatter in the 1951 Disney classic "Alice In Wonderland."

He died in Arcadia, California on July 8 at the age 88, the UFOCity feature noted. I had cut out his obiturary from The N.Y. Times.

Kimball, the feature reports, was a student of both space and UFOs, and worked on three animated documentaries for the popular "Disneyland" TV show in 1955 and 1956, with famed rocket scientist Werner Von Bruen as the scientific advisor.

The groundbreaking shows were Man In Space, seen by 42 million viewers, Man And The Moon, and Mars And Beyond, all shows I remember watching very well... and now wish were on video or CD.

The UFOcity feature reports that Walt Disney was approached by the U.S. Air Force in 1955 or 1956 to produce a documentary on UFOs with U.S. government help (shades of Mannion's "Project Mindshift" bookl). Disney produced animation for the government during World War II, and the Robertson Panel in 1953 suggested using Disney to allay public concerns over UFOs.

Kimball first publically talked about the project at the 1979 National MUFON Symposium, showing about 15-20 minutes of the documentary which never made it to TV screens via the "Disneyland" show.

Reading this, I was reminded that the Walt Disney Corp., under Michael Eisner, showed an hour long updated UFO documentary on network TV at 5:30 on a Saturday morning in the mid-1990s, part of its new space display at the theme park, a rather odd time, indeed, I videotaped it but (alas!) never marked the tape.

So, how does this all fit in with "BACK TO CONEY ISLAND" and our Breakthrough? It's in the TIMING and LOCATION. The timing being that Disney Corp. may be looking at Coney Island for a project at the time this feature appeared on the UFOcity news page, a convienent though not deliberate coincidence. But apparently it's AN INFORMATIONAL SYNC.

The timing also involves the UFO sightings over two weekends in July 1952 (Juky 19-20 and July 26-27) in Washington, DC (which I well remember as a little boy) causing a national sensation and an outcry from the media and the public for answers, coming to a head at a packed press conference at the Pentagon in late July 1952, with the whole issue of Disclosure, first pushed by the UFOnauts themselves (whoever they may be!). When the U.S. went into denial, the UFOnauts apparently took their case directly to the people.... where "disclosure" may occur.

The LOCATION is a key here: Disney and Coney Island... and our Breakthrough site, with all the triangular, sightings and rabbit connections, including the Artificial Intelligence question, raised by UFO researcher Richard Dolan, as related a few items before this report.

In the article I wrote for one of our newspapers I mention Steven Spielberg's 2001 movie "A.I." in which the android boy pilots a small submarine into a submerged Coney Island late in this century, transversing through a recreation of the village of Pinocchio, subject of a classic 1941 Disney animated feature.

A connection is SUGGESTED here through a thoroughly subtle, stretched SYNCHRONICITY driven message, communicated in a highly SOPHISTICATED way, typically of the Intellient Information System that seems to co-create its interface with us! This is rather STUNNING.

Too far-out? Maybe. But there are Clues, Patterns and Consistency at play here, apparently trying to pull this all together, and trying to get more people to pay attention and listen to a Contact and Communication far more developed than what many in SETI have thought about.

It may sound crazy to put together different pieces that may not be directly related, but PO LOGIC, as described a few reports ago, and an understanding of the works of Dr. Gibbs Williams (see Chapter 12) and Dr. Remo Roth (see Chapter 13) may help one see the holistic picture at work.

In a way, the enterprising mogul who helped the fictional SETI scientist Dr. Arroway see the holographic pattern at play in the Vega Message can be thought of as a model to comprehend CONTACT, which may come a source more expansive tha, but encompassing, space and, indeed, be NONLOCAL and EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE... like something out of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, as WARD KIMBALL's CHESHIRE CAT SMILES at us. "MESSAGES" ON A GOLDEN AFTERNOON IN BREWSTER

BREWSTER, NY, Saturday, August 3, 2002 -- For the first time in nearly two years I took a daytime trip via Metro-North train to Brewster, taking in Magnetic Mine Road there, two Putnam County Celtic-like anicent stone chambers and the Balanced Rock dolmen in North Salem in northern Westchester County, all on a golden afternoon.

As in my last trip to Brewster in September 2000, I went to see, along with a friend, three pre-S.P.A.C.E. friends who were connected with and investigated our May 27, 1991 nighttime CE-5 "Contact" on Upper Magnetic Mine Road (see Close Encounters of the Contact Kind on main SPACE website).

After an hour long lunch at a crowded and noisey Bob's Diner, we headed to the Balanced Rock in two cars. We were to meet the other car after that at Ninham Mountain to see the stone chamber in that park, while our car went to Magnetic Mine Road, on a hot and sticky day.

We did not meet the other car at Ninham, where a stone chamber and the remains of an ancient settlement are, because we were chased away, nicely, by a sheriff. But we took in the two roadside stone chambers on cross-county Route #301, and never found our friends in the other car.

THE BREWSTER RABBITS

My friend and I were dropped off after 4 o'clock on the short Main Street of the village, so, with an hour to spare before the next train back to Grand Central Station arrived, we walked around the village's small shopping strip, which has sprouted a few antique shops.

Then we came across a Thrift Shop & Animal Rescue Group store window, where I was startled to see several dozen RABBIT Figurines in the window, all DIFFERENT, in size, theme, color, --- a GREAT VARIETY of RABBIT Figurines, perhaps porcelin, clay or plaster.

"This is the ULTIMATE RABBIT Synchronicity, and right here in Brewster, our CONTACT GRAND CENTRAL STATION," I told my friend as I snapped several photos of the RABBIT-FILLED window. (After the film was developed, I used a magnifying glass to count the figurines in the photos -- There were OVER 90, to my surprise!) The RABBIT has lead us back to the village of Brewster, hometown to our MAJOR CONTACT SITE since 1988!

Those Celtic-lke stone chambers (perhaps 1,500 years old!!), especially the one now hidden in wild overgrowth off Upper Magnetic Mine Road, are thought to serve as "portals" and "doorways" as part of an energy grid for Ufonauts and other enigmatic denizens to other places, times and dimensions, acting very much like RABBIT HOLES such as the one ALICE took down into WONDERLAND.

Apparently, the suggestion and message made here today with this AMAZING NUMBER, VARIETY and COLORS of RABBITS is that those forces behind our "WOW! Signal Contact" are also the same as those with the Contacts in Brewster. These forces may not necessarily directly involve "ETs" exactly as we conceive of them, but some naturalistic dimension of reality only dimmly deciphered now.

Perhaps, is there is a clue in "Thrift Shop" and "Animal RESCUE GROUP?" I think there may be. From there we stopped into the artistic BOONE DOG coffee and tea cafe at the corner of Park and Main Streets, near Bob's Diner for some creme soda.

The wall behind us was lined with original framed paintings. The two DIRECTLY BEHIND me were a painting of a FLYING SAUCER and, below that, a painting of a "GRAY SPACE ALIEN," as if inside a "beam."

The unexpected happened again! Our contacts and CE5s in Brewster happen at nighttime, something we have been unable to do for the past five years, at least.

Here and Now, we have a SYNC-MESSAGE, adding to our overall "WOW!" BREAKTHROUGH during a GOLDEN AFTERNOON, a phrase used by Lewis Carroll at the beginning of "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland," based on an actual sultry "Golden Afternoon" he wrote about in his journal of a July 3rd day he spent iin 1863 with the real Alice and her friends in a lovely English countryside, first spinning his Wonderland tale.

By the way, while at the Thrift Shop and Animal Rescue Group window, I decided to try to buy some of the figurines. But, just as I decided to do so, the owners of the shop were just then leaving and locked the door, closing shop for the day.

A BALANCING ACT?

As for our two friends in the missing car, I later learned that after they left the Balanced Stone they became sick, with headaches, naseau, extreme thirst and fatigue, a disturbing and unpleasant experience which has been reported at some of these sites, and they went back to the homes.

One of them had sort of a vision, while resting this evening, of figures at the Balanced Rock, in a time past where the surroundings were more savannah-like than the present forest. Those time shift scenes have been reported there and the stone chambers before.

Energies, positive and negative and in balance were in play and at work today, and with lingering for a few says afterwards. A communication was conveyed. Or so it appears?

On a Golden Afternoon on August 3, 2002 in the fabled Hudson Valley, home to Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle, WE GOT A GIFT -- A MESSAGE, A COMMUNICATION, subtle, sophisicated, suggestive, imaginative, definate, pleasant and unpleasant.

A FOOTNOTE (ah-hem, A RABBIT PAW-NOTE): In the new "SIGNS" movie (released on Aug. 2), a horror fiction story loosely based on the Crop Circle mystery, there is a reference to a "FUZZY RABBIT" video game.

Prior to an ABC-TV "20/20" program broadcast on Friday night (Aug. 2), which had a featured (and fractured!) segment on the real and faked crop circles, the preceding ABC show ended with the production company's logo, a trickster RABBIT playing wih a Magician's trick hat.

At dinner arriving back in Manhattan at Scotty's Diner tonight, a young woman walks in wearing a WHITE T-shirt with a BLACK RABBIT PLAYBOY logo on it. --- Beam us up Scotty!

THE RABBITS ARE EVERYWHERE EVERYTIME

BROOKLYN, NY -- Wednesday, August 7, 2002 -- Last evening I had a news assignment to cover the local police precinct's community "America's Night Against Crime" at a pier jutting out into New York Harbor, the same pier where I witnessed the aftermath of the attack on the twin towers on that horrific September 11th morning.

When I came home tonight and saw I had one photo remaining in the camera, I decided to photograph something in my bedroom, which is filled with collectables of all kinds. At the last minute I decided to snapped a photo of an Easter basket filled with "Bowling Bunnies" (like the animation in the preceding report) and surrounded by several rabbit figurines.

This morning at the newspaper office my editor put me down, making me feel bad and stupid for taking that photo. I told her why, which made things worse for me. Soon afterwards the other reporter picked up her photos from the police precinct event that she covered last night.

The photos, with police, children and local residents, included many of them wearing BUNNY RABBIT EARS fastened over their heads and a LARGE BUNNY RABBIT costume worn by someone to entertain the children!!!! "It might be some kind of a joke," the other reporter said.

At this point I realized WHY I aimed my camera at the basket of bunnies last night, somehow, maybe, perhaps knowing deep down inside that while there was no RABBIT theme at the event I covered, there was one at the other precinct's event!!! Later I found out from that precinct's commander that it was a health insurer's rabbit, the one that has the MY-BUNNY van that has played prominently in our SYNCS.

Additionally, the precinct where a GIANT RABBIT appeared with its FREE GIFTS of BUNNY EAR headpieces for HUMANS was the same precinct where over a year ago someone during a community-police meeting there asked to no one in particular, "Where's HARVEY?" -- not Elwood P. Dowd's six foot tall INVISIBLE RABBIT POUKA (Trickster), but a photojournalist from the CONEY ISLAND area by that name.

If you go back to read that account, "THEY'RE HERE," BUT WHERE FROM? about the "Where's HARVEY?" incident of February 27, 2001, that question, tangentily raised the idea that the LOCATION and SOURCE of our SYNCs are NON-LOCAL in nature and origin.

Dr. Remo Roth, the Swiss psychologist and UFO abduction researcher, explores the APPARENT NON-LOCAL nature of our "WOW! CONTACT" and finds a naturalistic explanation that does not necessarily involve ETs directly but something more complex and deep. (see Chapter 13.)

We now have another CLUSTER OF SYNC PLUS incidents over a few days amounting to (once again, apparently) another cluster in a series of ongoing CLUES and re-inforced COMMUNICATION in our overall "WOW!" SIGNAL CONTACT, again involving other people.

The RABBIT EARS handed out as FREE GIFTS may (just maybe, perhaps) be a MESSAGE for people (since they are fastened onto human's heads, mostly those f CHILDREN) TO LISTEN to the "WOW! SIGNAL" and that we are being LISTENED TO in our rummations about all this.

NOW, it's really important to clearly emphasize here that there was an OVERT reason for the BUNNY and RABBIT EARS at the police community event, whch was to have fun and promote affordable health insurance for children, which has NOTHING to do with "Otherwordly Signs and Signals." But there appears to be a SUBTLE COVERT reason in the ARRANGEMENT and TIMING of this on some possible IMPLICATE order of reality, which become explicit to us here to understand in the CONTEXT of a RECURRING PATTERN of SIMILAR EVENTS -- if we listen and then ponder the possible implications.

As Elwood P. Dowd said in the charming 1950 "Harvey" movie, "Science has overcome TIME and SPACE. Harvey has not only overcome TIME and SPACE, but any objections."

"IT" CAME FROM INNER SPACE

Wednesday, August 14, 2002 -- Tonight, to relax after a hot and busy work day, I watched two unrelated movies on my videotapes, the first being the 1953 Hollywood sci-fi classic "It Came From Outer Space" about an alien spaceship crash in the Arizona dessert, which I first saw as a little boy in 3-D in the theater.

The first Earth animal that the space creature sees is not a human but a JACK RABBIT (common to the Southwest USA), followed by a coyote and an OWL, with all fleeing the ET.

Remember, a RABBIT was the first animal seen by ET in Spielberg's "E.T." movie, twice in fact, but it did not flee. And we have the RABBITS in the "Roswell" TV movie near its beginning.

Perhaps the RABBITS are an implanted symbol or archetype by supra-intelligent forces from outer space or inner space, or both and more?

The amateur astronomer who saw the fireball flying through the night sky before the crash is named John PUTNAM, (played by Richard Carlson of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" who was distrustful of "Mr. Carpenter"), which just happened to remind me of PUTNAM County where we in SPACE have our contacts. Pure coincidence, of course. (Just wait a moment.)

Recently I re-watched the 1952 intelligently made sci-fi suspense thriller "Red Planet Mars" starring Peter Graves (of TV's "My Friend Flicka" and "Mission Impossible") about Graves as astronomer and professional freelance writer Chris Cronin who apparently makes contact with a peaceful civilization on Mars which has no wars.

He discovers an advanced culture that uses a highly efficient "cosmic power" instead of coal and oil, a revelation that causes Western civilization to almost collapse, its economy undermined as newspapers and TV news blare the earth-shaking revelations from Mars.

Then Cronin starts getting spiritual messages from Mars, (which he at first calls nonsense) apparently from a Christ-like leader of the Martians, causing the Soviet Union to be swept up by a religious uprising and revolution leading to its sudden collapse (the 1952 movie is set in 1956).

The movie, made only five years after the 1947 Flying Saucer Wave and during the huge 1952 UFO Flap, raises questions of SCIENCE and SPIRITUALITY, and their connections, in CONTACT, as pondered today by cosmologists and theologians.

And also as components of SYNCRONICITY.

"Red Planet Mars" is like a 1952 version of the 1997 movie "Contact" based on Carl Sagan's book, using the star Vega rather than Mars as the place of the contact's transmissions. And "Contact" brings forth the issues and links of SCIENCE and SPIRITUALITY.

Those two are also prime components of SYNCHRONICITY, as we have seen.

THAT WASCIALLY WABBIT AGAIN!!!!

And then there is THE RABBIT, mentioned in an earlier account in the e-book here about "Red Planet Mars." The astronomer's wife, Linda Cronin, early in the movie just before contact is made, goes into the couple's youngest son's bedroom and says to him, "You dropped your BUNNY RABBIT." When her husband asked what all the fuss was about, she tells him "He WOKE UP and couldn't find his RABBIT," a large WHITE RABBIT plush toy.

There is no denying that THE RABBITS, those Rascals, keep popping up in these movies! But not, please note, in Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, or Annie Hall, etc.

This month I viewed my "Barbarella, Queen of the Galaxy" 1967 movie tape starring Jane Fonda and produced by Dino De Laurentis. When she lands on an alien planet at the movie's start, she is abducted by mean children. During her ordeal, there are BLUE RABBITS Everywhere just hopping all around.

(NOTE: Post-Barbarella Jane Fonda, by the way, spent a night at the house I lived in 1972 and 1973 in the 40 acres of woods in West Orange, New Jersey where I had my key experiences that eventually led to my explorations. I was away that weekend [I was at a protest rally in Washington DC], but she spent the night with a friend who was a guest at the house. In the year I lived in the house, I only saw one RABBIT, a WHITE one.)

On the front page of today's "THE NEW YORK SUN" newspaper there is an article headlined, RABBITS AT ARCHEOLOGY, an AP story from LONDON (of course, making our UK connection) (AND, at this very moment a radio commercial song repeats "London Calling") about burrowing rabbits making a new warren in Warwickshire in the West Midlands who, by happenstance, uncovered a rare 14th Century Medieval WINDOW (another CLUE perhaps?).

THE PUTNAM SYNC

Anyway, later this evening I had an urge to watch a 1946 Abbott and Costello movie, "The Time of Their Lives" about Lou Costello and Marjorie Reynolds as two Revolutonary War ghosts, mistakenly killed in 1780 and set free of a curse, which falsely accused them of being traitors, in 1946. One of the major characters in the 1780 part of the movie was Major PUTNAM.

Even a friend of mine watching the movie remarked on the unusual coincidence of PUTNAM in two unrelated movies in one night. And SO SOON after my recent visit, 11 days ago, to PUTNAM County in the Hudson Valley.

For those who may have read this past Sunday's fascinating, very thoughtful cover feature story on "Coincidence" in The New York Times Magazine, ("Coincidence in an Age of Conspiracy -- The Odds of That" by Lisa Belkin, Aug. 11, 2002) this could all be just by interesting chance. And to give personal meaning to it would not make it all a "message" from some guiding, involved and orchestrating source, from within or without.

(NOTE: The Times article is not about synchronicity per se, as explored in our "WOW!" E-Book but "why the science of coincidence is a conspiracy theorist's worst nightmare.")

BUT, perhaps, what we have just reported here today could be ANOTHER CLUE, ANOTHER MESSAGE, ANOTHER COMMUNICATION in an overall CONTACT?

And again, we, in "SHARING OUR S.P.A.C.E." with our readers here, are merely, generously giving you DATA and OBSERVATIONS of what MAY BE an Extraordinary Type of Ongoing CONTACT which KEEPS SAYING:

RABBITS ABDUCTED BY UFONAUTS IN 1954

In researcher Richard Dolan's book, "UFOs And the National Security State -- Chronology of a Cover-up 1941-1973" there is the following RABBIT item in Chapter 5 "Shutting the Lid: 1953 to 1956" under the section "November and December 1954: World Sightings Continue," page 165:

"Another typically strange Italian case occurred on November 14 (1954) in the northern town of Isola. A farmer saw a cigar-shaped craft land nearby and hid to watch it. Three very short creatures emerged, dressed in metallic diving siuts. They became interested in his caged RABBITS, a step that caused the man to reach for his rifle. When he tried to shoot, however, the rifle not only failed to work but became so heavy that he dropped it. The beings took his RABBITS, entered their craft and departed silently, leaving a bright trail. Interviewers considered the man to be reliable."

Could this close encounter back in 1954 be from where our RABBIT SYNCS emerged? Here we have a case of RABBITS being ABDUCTED from a man's FARM.

What is also intriguing is that I read this item on the subway on Thursday, August 22, 2002 while on my way to the Queens County FARM Museum, (while on my vacation), the only remaining active farm in New York City, started in the late 1600s. I had not been to any farm since my last visit three years ago to this same farm, which has a cornfield eerily like the one in the "Signs" crop circle movie.

And yesterday (August 24) I was discussing some UFO and CIA-related matters in connection with Dolan's book with a couple of friends, and one of them mentioned popular author Tom Clancy, saying that the famous spy mystery novelist should write about UFOs and the CIA.

Last night I heard The New York Times Book Review short on the WQXR-FM classical music radio station, mentioning the cover feature review by WILLIAM Everdell in this Sunday Times' Book Review about the new book by retired journalism professor Timothy Ferris, "Seeing in the Dark: How Backyard Stargazers Are Probing Deep Space and Guarding Earth From Interplanetary Peril."

Right after the brief excerpt from the review, there is a mention of TOM CLANCY's new bestselling book, "RED RABBIT" published by PUTNAM ("they" even got that in!) about a Soviet plot against Pope Paul II.

We again rest our case for CONTACT and COMMUNICATION, proven once more, time and time again!
