Romantic Love Poems by Eve Adam, a.k.a Harmonic Eve

by Eve Adam, a.k.a. Harmonic Eve You sensed my innocence -- you played the game You'd played before with others. Were we friends or were we lovers? I never knew just which. I gave you honesty and devotion; You gave me joy with grief. Obscure were your words -- obscure was your meaning; Each time we worked it out. There's a lesson here that I already knew, And I trusted you knew it as well. You said "goodbye" in a roundabout way That left me unsure of your choice. Now "nothing" it was, and forever will be, And never will you think of me. True, there was nothing, and more could not be, But there's many a thought from me. by Eve Adam, a.k.a.
