There's come a time_we have to leave~
And for our friend, we'll surely grieve~ Though time moves on, and so must we~ We'll hold tight to His memory~ |

He's taught us much, down life's pathway~
Like how to love, laugh. sing and pray~ And when the going has been tough~ It seemed He could not do enough~ When teardrops fell, and times were hard~ He pointed our eye's, up to the Lord~ A friend more precious than pure gold~ He's left His Mark _Upon Our Soul~ |

Though miles may take us far away~
Inside our hearts, He'll be each day~ The lessons, He has taught with care~ Could never vanish, in thin air~ |

You see, He's taught us how to live~
And how to love, and how to give~ He's taught us, when we've made a mess~ How God forgives, If we'll confess~ |
|

|
His actions taught us how to smile~
He always walks that extra mile~ When hearts are hurting_He is close by~ To dry the tears_to say, don't cry~ |
|

A "Man of Honor"_He's touched our soul~
A treasured friend,worth more than gold~ He's taught us when we give, we're blessed~ A Man Of God~the very best~ |

Life's treasures on this earth shall fade~
But "Not This Friendship", We have made~ Not miles,nor distance, could ever hide~ The Love for Him, We hold inside~ So as we leave, May God just bless~ And Fill His Life, With Happiness~ And may God's Angels, from above~ Protect and Guard, This One We Love~ And if on earth, we meet no more~ We'll meet Him up_On Heaven's Shore~ |
