Nor one with a degree~
To walk the stairway to God's Heart~
God shows the way, you see~
He gave to us, a Holy Book~
Directions loud and clear~
And then God sent "His Only Son"~
To die for us down here~
He hung on that ole rugged cross~
He bore our sin and shame~
And all we have to do for Him~
"Call on His Holy Name"~
He stands each day, at our heart's door~
Desiring to come in~
If we accept His invitation~
He free's us from all sin~
He will not force His way on us~
Just listen to His voice~
No-one can do it for us friend~
It has to be our choice~
So if we are "sin shackled"~
And we haven't asked Him in~
WE need to bow to Jesus now~
He'll free us from all sin~
His Holy book, shows us the way~
It's easy and it's true~
Just read it and He'll lead the way~
To God and Heaven too~
Our problems and our heartaches~ they
Will flee, as we do our part~
Just place them in "His Nail_Scarred hands"~
He's the "Stairway to God"s heart".
