Abner Tippey was born May 12, 1805 in Tennessee, and died August 31, 1868 in Jefferson City, Bremer, Iowa. He married Elizabeth. She was born June 2, 1805 in Kentucky.

Mary Anna Tippey, born September 15, 1844 in Lewiston. Fulton, Illinois. She died March 4, 1935 in Polk Township. Bremer, Iowa. She married Moses M. Mishler June 14, 1866 in Denver, Bremer, Iowa. He was born February 18, 1844 in Ohio and died January 17, 1923 in Polk Township, Bremer, Iowa.

Notes for Moses M. Mishler

Moses Mishler was born Feburary 18, 1844 at Janesville, Ohio, and died very suddenly of heart failure, at his home west of Horton, on Wednsday, January 17, 1923, at 10 o'clock, aged 78 years and 11 months.
At the age of 7 years he came with his parents to Denver, Iowa, and that was his home until he moved to Horton in 1886.
On June 14, 1886, he married Miss Mary Tippey. To this union were born 15 Children.

Leroy P. Tippey (Abner, Abraham) was born February 19, 1836 in Williamson County, Illinois, and died September 15, 1890 in Bremer, Iowa. He married Susanna Mishler August 2, 1855 in Bremer, Iowa, Daughter of Moses Mishler and Julia Dorner. She was born May 20, 1837 in Williams, Ohio, and died February 1, 1917 in Waterloo, Blackhawk, Iowa.

Abner Tippey, born March 23, 1856 in Illinois. He married Elizabeth Cain, born March 9, 1864.

William Tippey, born November 1, 1858 in Kansas. He married Florence Tutner.

John Tippey, born November 8, 1860 in Iowa. He married (1) Ellen Duddley. He married (2) Mary Ellen Sibber.

James Tippey, born December 23, 1864 in Iowa. He married Minie Rector.

Isaac Tippey, born May 11, 1869 in Iowa. He married Alma Duddley.

Lafayette Tippey, born November 22, 1875 in Iowa. He married Anna Heiser.

Daisy May Tippey, born March 22, 1877 in Denver, Bremer, Iowa. Died April 17, 1958 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota

Notes for Willis Allen Tippey

Willis A. Tippey was born in Illinois. He was of Irish and German descent. He was in the U.S. Civil War. He moved by covered wagon to Jefferson Iowa and then to Shell Rock, Butler Co., Iowa. He also lived in Winterset, Iowa. He was a small man with dark complection. He died of Tuberculosis when he was 57 years old on May 2, 1894.

Edgar Alverton Tippey, (Willis Allen, Abner, Abraham) was born January 31, 1870 in Janesville, Iowa, and died abt 1946 in Hillsboro, Oregon. He married Ida Arvilla Stannard, Daughter of Asa Stannard and Cynthia Cook. She was born January 23, 1874 in Shellrock, Iowa, and died August 1958 in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Vera Estella Tippey, born September 8, 1894 in Parkesburg, Butler, Iowa; and died 1979 in Seattle, Kings Co., Washington.

Burial, November 9, 2001, Bear Butte Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota. He married (1) Anna Maxine Fletcher. She was born July 25, 1921, and died April 26, 1973. Burial, Black Hills National Cemetery, South Dakota. He married (2) Living Putman.
