These little ones are a greyish color with white underneath.

White-footed mice come in two color variations. Golden brown or light grey on top,but both kinds have a white belly and white feet.

Nature has always been kind to me over the years. When I least expect it,I am given a rare glimpse of something really special. Here on the third day of our new pets arrival,we are treated to the birth of five new mice. The female mouse let me peek at her newborns the first day,but I was unable to get a clear shot till today. They were light pink then,with closed eyes. Now on day three,they are starting to get darker as their fur will begin showing up very soon. Mice and other small creatures live very short lives. Under the best conditions,these little ones will die within a year and a half. They can start having babies of their own in less than two months from now !! So it's with deep appreciation and fondness that I share with you this little episode of life on earth. Very few people I've ever known,have experienced things like this. I have had countless adventures with mice,snakes,lizards,frogs,turtles,baby birds,little brown bats,ducks,moles,shrews,hamsters,and assorted insects,dogs,and cats. I have been blessed by Nature's wonders since I was a small boy. I'm very happy I was able to share this event with all of you.
