WELCOME to... "FatherJohn'sBibleStudy" ~~~Why Bible Study??~~~  Welcome to my page. Always have your Bible handy to check out my works, as I often give only the scripture reference and not the passage to save space.  No where in the Bible do we find the quote.."Read Your Bible".. instead, we find that we are commanded to "Study Our Bible" (2Tim.2:15). There is a big difference between the meaning of "Studying (investigating) and just Reading (as in a story). To read another language is futile unless you study to learn just what your reading, To read the Bible and accepts it's content "literally", and perform it's instructions to the letter is good and make's one a "Fundlamentalist" therefore, to "Study" the Bible may not be necessary. But ,if one is to "question" the Bible in any way,..then Study is absolutly necessary.   Time and conditions, or lack of resources keep many from doing a Bible study, Despite the fact that many New Age Movement (NAM) ministries are flooding the airways, there are still many Godly ministries that will get the "Word of God" (WOG) out to those who want to hear the Truth. (Mt.7:7..seek and ye shall find...).   If we don't ask questions,..we don't get answers. Every child of God need's to learn and know what God has planned for their lives according to "His Word" and not by the assumptions of NAM preachers. God's plan is simply salvation for everyone...period.   It's not easy talking to one's own family and friends about Jesus and the Bible concerning Salvation. My personal witnessing to family, friends and people I know, has always been difficult. and I find it easier to talk about the Lord to total strangers.
Here are several warnings (in my opinion) to watch out for that will lead you "from" the truth of the WOG and into the arms of NAM preaching and the coming of the "One World Church". BEMEMBER this... the NAM ministries DO use actual scriptures to BLINDSIDE you to mis-understand Scripture. and hey actually use the Scriptures to TWIST Scriptual DOCTRINE.   BEWARE of any preacher who claims that they were "called" personally by God to serve in the ministry. not all are tellimg the truth. Especially those who claim they were called as teenagers, or even younger. Many will "assume" that they grew up serving and to the Lord, but were really believing a lie just because their ministry flourishes with great "wealth & riches"...but they fool them selves.   BEWARE of those who use any Bible other than the Authorized King James Bible (KJB), while preaching in a service, or Bible Study,..especially if they use the NIV, which has over 20,000 errors in it. Most Bibles today are published by ir-responsible people who are after $$$ more then truth. Paul scolded the Galations for accepting false doctrines, (par) Gal.1:8....if any man or angel from Heaven, preach any other Gospel to you that is not what we have preached unto you, let him be accursed..   BEWARE of preachers who supports the Promise Keepers or any other organization, claiming roots of Christianity, for they are truly "ravening wolves" in sheep's clothing" (Mt.7:15-16) and only are intrested in your (God's) money to support their false miistries...DO NOT SUPPORT THEM. Do not get involved in the 99/2000 yr. Billy Graham '' One Faith Unification'' program to unite all religions under one banner of FAITH. This is for all those who have a faith in their ''single'' god and to have respect to others who have faith in ''their'' god. Does..''can't we all just get along together'' sound familiar?? (par) 2Pt..2::3...and through their "lust", will take your money with false doctrines and deceiving words..   BEWARE of preachers who tell you, you must "Love your "Neighbour and Enemies" as Yourself" to ''Prove your Salvation''. They preach, ''it's ' the LAW'. This is the #1 attempt of Satan in creating his "One World Church", by having Jews,. Protestant, Catholic, and Islamic churches as well as liberal Baptist and Methodist and Protestants Churches that have split from their fundamentalist brethren by;...accepting the gay community and ordaining female pastors into Church...ect. Titus.1:16..They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him.   Moslems and other Middle East faiths are also expected to merge into this "one body of "Faith Believers"...because"Faith Belief" is what will unite the churches together without argument of what GOD one should believe in, and this is the direction that Billy Graham Ministry. and many other renown preachers are embracing today while preaching Jesus at the same time. Watch the Media for the RCC and other world church leaders and what they talk about,..your soul depends on what you learn.   We had a steel guitar player in our Country band years ago who converted to Islam (not 100% though) and told me . He told me that, Christians need to learn that "ALLAH" is the   These are just a few indicators that believers must be aware of at all times. I will expand more information on the above as well as other topics on my pages. I repeat,.. Backsliding preachers have no excuse today to do what they are doing, because they, like you and I, have access to the internet to research any ministry or person we might be involved with.   That's why Bible study is so important to, especially if you do not attend church regularly or tune in to Godly TV ministries. (check my linkings).   In 1985, after a major heart attack, our son Michael and his wife bought me this WEBTV unit and suggested I get into an "answering mode" to Biblical questions on the internet, being that I was so involved in Bible and Prophecy studies, so I did. and ended up doing it ever since. I will put up a more topics as space allows, addressing various truths in the Bible that I have learned form those who have sent me questions. I hope in some way, my pages will help you.......FJ..††† Hit Back or...FatherJohn's Menu Page~~Duh-Preaching Prophecy??~~ I have dozens of, books, study guides, tapes (Vid's & Aud's) and personal notes I've taken on the prophetic doctrines of the Bible since my "rebirth" in Christ in 1980. I found myself addicted after scanning my radio dial at work one time and came across the "Southwest Radio Church" program discussing the "Four Horsemen" in the "Book of Revelation". I suppose I was taken in (at first) by the adventure of prophecy, but soon reliazed that prophecy was a necessary doctrine to study for two reasons. (1) It is a doctrine commanded by God to stydy, teach and preach in these last days... and (2) It is a commandement of Jesus for our preachers to be up on "Prophecy" as it is a requirement in preaching salvation in Jesus and as a descriptive warning aganst false prophets ~~~Why I Study Prophecy~~~I enjoy studying prophecy because it helped me to discovered the difference between studying the Bible and "just reading the Bible"...and I've also discovered that there are many preachers that call themselves "Prophets of the Lord" who constantly claim "new personal revelations of wisdom" as given to them by the Holy Spirit. be wise, they became fools...   (EXAMPLE) How many times have we heard preachers say,... "all of a sudden the Holy Spirit said to me", or..."the HS was upon me and gave me this to say to you",..or.."I was reading the Word and suddenly the Holy Ghost spoke to me and gave me this revelation"...   Ive heard preachers like "Hinn. Roberts, Tilton, Copland, Price, Dollar, Shambaugh and other "P&C" preachers claim pesonal revelaions in visions and dreams that are completely contrary to scripture. What I don't hear are rebukes from Godly fundamentalist preachers.   Too many times one preacher will give a "HG" revelation, and another preacher will give a different "HG" revelation contradicting the other preacher's revelation. So, who's "HG" is right, and who's creating the confusion??? (Be sure to check "Cycle of Life") These contradictions apply mostly to prophecy. Why???.. because daily events dictate the outcome of prophecy,..and men are forced to change their "past conclusions" on what they've said or written about in books concerning "Bible Prophecy". Don't forget, in their forwards of their books, they claim that they have been given revelation by the HG. Did the Holy Ghost (in the "past") give them the wrong "revelation" and then changed it at a later date??? This would imply that the Holy Ghost can make errors, If the HG is "God" and couldn't tell the future (back then),..then God himself is "the author of confusion and not man.   Preachers need to be careful when implying that the "HG said this or that", because when it doesn't come to pass, then it's wrong,..and God gets the blame for it and is targeted to be mocked by those who "refute" His Holy Name..   Prophetic books and information is prevalent today, but our preachers are abusive in their caution of "restricting" their comments as to giving the HG the "credit for their own personal" revelations.††† Hit Back or...FatherJohn's Menu Page~~~The Cycle Of Life~~  I personally believe that all the "Godly given revelations" that the HS would (or will) give,.. was during the first century, through the apostles and to the early "Church disciples",... and will again later during the early part of the 7yr. tribulation times. I believe that when God "rested" (after creation), and that Jesus concluded, by saying on thr cross, "IT IS FINISHED",..ended the prophetic revelations of a "Coming Messiah" and the God given "Cycles Of fLife". and that the completion of God's work was set in motion for all time. "Cycles" of; gravity, weather, universal movements, earth rotation, reproductions of all kinds of life, death, etc were completed as God would have them. He then gave us His "Laws, Commandments and Statutes" as the only guide to understanding them.   God also gave us a brain to learn; principles, logistics, wisdom, and understanding. I also believe that when a person "discovers a revelation" while studying the Word of God, or while listening to a sermon or reading a commentary, it is strictly a benefit of knowledge and understanding given by God as he promised to do for those who continually seek out His Word. Personal insight is a far cry from personal revelations, and preachers need to reliaze that difference. The KJV Bible is complete and of no need for "new revelational interpetations" . of wisdom: A good understanding have all they that do his commandments...   "Prosperity" preachers insist on saying "God's gift of health" is giving to you so you "can work" to make a living,."wrong", or, God put you in a "wealthy" position so you can have "all your heart desires", "wrong",.. what God did do, was to give us the "cycles of life" to live by, and how we handle them is up to us. If God is supposed to be a continual and "complete giver" of all things we ask for,.. and is supposed to answer our every prayer asking for the things we need, then why did Jesus and the apostles say "don't feed them if they don't work for it."   Un-answered prayer is often God's answer given to us in His "Cycles" of life. If we ask for health, He's given us those guidelines in His Word,. we ask for wealth, again, He's told us how to do that also,.. but mankind will not do what He says. We all have or know of loved ones or friends facing the worst of medical problems, and we pray constantly for God's healing touch upon them,,,but we often fail to include "thy will be done Lord". Many of our "Pentecostal" friends preach God is commited by His own word to give us anything we ask for..that is just not true. God said to live "humbly" and He will meet our needs, we don't do that. God prefers us to pray for others more then ourselves because this shows humility, in which case He is likely to answer our personal prayers more quickly.   Prayer is the "First Contact" between God and man, and the first prayer should be asking for forgiveness and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour,.once we have accepted Jesus as Lord of our lives, we then have a better chance fo a better life...especially in the eternal life to come. When we go to work, we earn a salary, (do we not?) if we don't go to work, we don't eat, pay rent, or meet our needs and are dependant on others for our fare, asking for welfare that "others" take responsibilities for us. God's not going to pay your bills for you just because Him to, His cycles of life has dictated our fate as we make it. God "allows us" to own what we "earn" here on earth (Acts 5:1-4) but He will give us endless riches that we don't earn or deserve in the eternal life if we just accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, His "reward" is endless. The only revelation we truly need to reliaze is that,. God has set the rules for the "cycle of life" for all time, and if we obey them, we will then surfice while here on earth.   If we are "in the Lord", thenwe must deal with what ever God has for us, because He is in control of our lives.   It is man", through his disobedience to God, that sets God's "cycles off balance, even to his own destruction. The Holy Spirit is constantly working to renew our thinking, movements, attitudes, even our very lives so that we may better serve God, and not ourselves. of scripture is of any private interpretation.   Concerning prophecy,.. we need to be careful and to remember that, when we do find wisdom or understandings (as we will ) in God's Word, we should not conclude that it is a discovery of a "new revelation" as given by the HS. God's Word is (literally) an open book to all those who seek him out with an open mind and thank Him for His Word...FJ...††† Hit Back or...FatherJohn's Menu Page |
