TOUCHING LIVES

This is a project to build community and promote
interdependence for isolated seniors through email and the internet. It is being implemented for the first time in the Southeast at Epiphany Manor in Port Orange, Florida

Epiphany Manor,Port Orange, Florida

Epiphany Manor is an independent living facility for Seniors located in a lovely city in East Central Florida near the ocean and the Haliax River.

The project is being cosponsored with initial financing by the Twin Cities Rotary Club of Port Orange and South Daytona and volunteer trainers from the Pilot Club of the Halifax Area. Carteret
Management Corporation will provide continuing financial support for the project.

Presentation of the Check

Lois and David presented a workshop on the project at the Florida District, Pilot International State Convention in Orlando on April 28, 2001.

Touching Lives is an expansion of a project originated by Dr. Lansdale to promote interdependence among seniors living in various types of congregate living facilties in the area of Palo Alto, California.
