Experiences may vary with different people, but at first, my arms and all muscles subjected to weight training were sore, but after the initial breakdown of the muscles, my running got better, body fat dropped to a low of 6.8% and injuries became pretty much a thing of the past. This page is still being edited, and will have pictures of the best weight training routines for runners as time goes by. For now, just remember to use low weights and high repititions. One object is to keep up your heart rate as if you were running. |
