About Cris Dennison~ Founder/Director
Cris was born in 1967, and grew up in Arlington, Va. She met Brian in 1987, and they were married on Oct. 13th, 1990. While Brian has always been somewhat of a skeptic, Cris came from a long line of psychic women on her mother's side. She grew up experiencing her name being called when no one was there, seeing "shadows" and smelling flowers, perfume, or other scents that defied explanation. She was never afraid of these phenomena because her great grandmother, who was a very strong psychic and medium, explained to her that these were just souls of people who had passed away. They were never threatening in any way, and it was this ability of hers that fueled her curiosity of the paranormal. As Cris grew older, and her abilities lessened somewhat, she noticed that spirits would still be attracted to her and make themselves known by "voices" or moving objects, etc. It has always amazed her that most people either emphatically deny the existence of spirits, or take any experience they may have as hostile or scary. Cris has been a student of all the major religions and considers herself a very spiritual person. She feels these gifts were given to her by her creator as a way of helping others. This she feels is her true life calling, and it is in this belief that she has started this group in the sincere hope to help both the living, and the dead. ~~~ About Brian Dennison - Co-Director/Webmaster Brian has been married to DAGR Director, Cris, since 1990. He has been an employee at Kishwaukee Community Hospital since 1992. Growing up, Brian had an interest in ghosts and hauntings and was always intrigued with stories and movies relating to such subjects. Even though a bit of a skeptic about spirits and ghosts, Brian now has the chance to study and research such phenomena. Having much experience at starting up clubs, such as his Klingon fan/community service club; Brian used his people skills to help Cris launch her dream of starting up DAGR. Being a very spiritual person, Brian has devoted his life to helping people in need. The mission at DAGR is to offer information, support & understanding to those that are experiencing a haunting or paranormal activity. ~~~ |
