DAGR Equipment Wish/Checklist
Members can view this to determine what they may want to acquire for their use on an investigation. Most of these items are VERY affordable and can be found at your local discount stores.
The bare minimum requirements to attend an investigation are: DAGR I.D. badge, flashlight (w/ extra batteries or hand-crank type), Pen & notebook, timepiece and a disposable one-use camera.
* 35 mm camera (either cheap disposable or standard or digital.
* Tape Recorder (old fashioned w/ remote microphone or digital) + unused/new audio tapes.
* Electro Magnetic Field detector (EMF)
* "Poor man's EMF" --- good quality compass
* Digital laser thermometer
* Flashlight + extra batteries or crank-type or shake-type (both not requiring batteries)
*2-way short-range radios
* Ion detector
* Wrist watch
* Dowsing/Divining Rods
* Small Flourescent Bulb (only)
* Note pad & pens
* First Aid kit
* Tackle or tool box to carry items in
*Infrared Night Vision viewer or camcorder
