My former neighbor, Jerry, is holding Princess Sugar Pie!

I was working out at sea in 2004, when Princess Sugar Pie, who was a very pregnant older kitten, took her five newborn kittens over to Jerry's for him to take care of. Her kittens were evidently born on May 10th, 2004. At the time they were born, Princess Sugar Pie wasn't quite a year old yet. She was still alittle shy around people but that quickly changed. Jerry gave most of her kittens away but he decided to keep one and named her "White Shoes" because the cat was black and white and had white boots on her feet. Before their birth, Jerry didn't even like cats but he fell in love with "Shoes".

Sad News Note: White Shoes left Jerry and this earth on Sunday March 9th 2008. She died in her sleep from a weak immune system during the early morning hours, when Jerry found her laying on her pillow beside his bed. She would have been 4 years old on May the 10th. She is missed very much by Jerry and will be missed by me, Princess Sugar Pie & Bobby, my neighbor in Daphne.

We all Love and miss you so much White Shoes!

Jerry told me, when I arrived back in on shore leave, that Sugar Pie was the best mother to those kittens that he had ever seen. Jerry moved back to Texas during the summer this year. I miss having him as a neighbor but I talk to him often by phone. I very much appreciate him looking after Sugar Pie when I was working out at sea. Thank you Jerry for doing that favor for Sugar Pie and me...

Again, I hope that you enjoyed visiting Princess Sugar Pie's web page. I always enjoy telling people about her and this is another way that I can do just that. Remember that one picture can speak a thousand words so keep on taking pictures of your cat too... So long and come back and visit us again. Bye for now and may God bless.

Lots of Love and Purrs,

Princess Sugar Pie

Note: Just one more thing before I finish. I just wish that I could thank Sugar Pie's Daddy Mr. Boots again for bringing her to me. He left us before his time after suffering a stroke back in July of 2004. He was such an Angel who would have made a wonderful Therapy Animal too. Sugar Pie's Brother, Mr. Maxx, who was also an angel, accidently contracted feline leukemia back in February of 2006 during Mardi Gras and he left us before his time too. That's one reason why I love Sugar Pie so much and also why I'm so protective of her. I hope that she lives a very long and loving productive, fulfilling and happy life because she has so much more to offer us human beings while she is here on this earth.

I love you very much, my little Princess Sugar Pie, because you have brought me so much love, joy and happiness! For this, I salute you Sweetheart.

I'd better go now so that I can give Princess Sugar Pie a good night hug and kiss and tuck her into bed... Sometimes Sugar Pie wakes me up while I'm asleep after she gently touches my face with one of her front paws and or licks my face too. What an Angel she is, Princess Sugar Pie!

Princess Sugar Pie's (Human) Daddy,

Jimbo
