I am the granddaughter of Thomas Amour (1876-1932), one of the six sons of the Thomas discussed on the previous page. My father was Howard Amour (1901-1977) (marr. Mary Fisher) and my only daughter is Kerri Ellen Amour Koch (1964-from Lawrence Koch). My family roots were in Mahanoy City, PA, and after attending the Mannes School of Music (NYC) and Bloomsburg Univ. of PA, I was married and taught music in Minersville High School (PA) with my husband. In 1969 we bought the Braun School of Music (Pottsville PA) where I currently teach voice and beginning piano.
