The Latest News in the Pokemon World

Anime News:

Yes, it's been quite some time since this section was updated, but since Ash recently lost the Silver Confrence, Misty and Brock have left, and the fact that Ash Ketchum has begun a new adventure alone with Pikachu, I thought this would be a perfect time to update.

~The last new episode of Pokemon was:
"Get the Show on the Road"
This episode was about Ash and Pikachu starting their new journey in the new season of Pokemon, Pokemon Advance. Ash and Pikachu travelled to the Hoenn region, but on their way there, Pikachu got really messed up by a giant magnet, thanks to Team Rocket. Arriving in Hoenn, Ash discovers Pikachu's problem and tries to help his friend out. Learning that there is no Pokemon Center close by, Ash calls Prof. Birch. At Birch's lab they try and help Pikachu, but Pikachu runs off feeling sick and out of its mind. Ash and Birch set off to find Pikachu, but situations get worse when Birch gets surrounded by Poucheyena. A young girl, May, comes to his rescue...sort of. Ash eventually finds Pikachu and saves him from falling down a cliff. Team Rocket shows up and tries to steal Pikachu once again. Their plan, of course, fails but it heals Pikachu and also desrtoys May's bike! In the end May gets her first Pokemon, a Torchick, and decides to go with Ash on his journey~

TCG News:

The newest release for the Pokemon TCG is "Ruby and Sapphire EX" Ok, because Wizards of the Coast does not do Pokemon cards anymore, Nintendo has taken over that field as well. First, because Nintendo has taken over the TCG, there are some new rules. Here are a few:
1) Whoever goes first does not draw a card
2) If someone doesn't get basic, the other player only draws one card instead of two
3) Confusion takes three damage instead of two, and if you are confused, you can retreat freely
4) You can only retreat once per turn
Now, you can also have two-on-two battles. If you decide to do a two-on-two you can only have four Pokemon on your bench and you have two active Pokemon.
Please, tell us what you think of these new rules or if you have questions about them! MONA-99@webtv.net

Pokemon for GBA:

The new Pokemon games, Ruby & Sapphire have been out for a while. If you don't already own a version (or both ^_~) I suggest you pick one up! And soon! They're highly addictive to Pokemon fanatics! ^_^
If you don't know what they're about, here's the basic info:
These games are for serious Pokemon fans. Like Crystal, you choose to be either a boy or a girl before you start your Pokemon quest. A new feature that I think is totally cool, is that you can have 2 on 2 battles, and of coarse the reg. 1 on 1.
These games' graphics look a lot better than any of the PKMN games to come before.
