~ ABOUT OUR PUPPIES ~

Our puppies are lovingly born and raised in our home. We start handling them shortly after they arrive for good socialization. We encourage our puppies to be confident, outgoing, & independent little beings as we feel that ultimately makes a wonderful, well-rounded companion.

All are AKC registered, have their first shots & wormings before leaving us. With each puppy, we provide a five generation pedigree, health record, starter packet (which includes food, general care and grooming tips, etc.), and a written one year guarantee. If for any reason, during the life of one of our puppies, the owner cannot keep the dog, we have first right of refusal. We do not want any of our dogs to end up in a shelter, pound, or rescue group.

Puppies are all started on crate & paper training. We also work with them early on to help get them accustomed to the grooming process.

Our puppies stay with us until we feel they are ready to embark on their life's journey with their new parents. Typically, this is at the age of 10 to 12 weeks, but may be later, depending on the individual puppy.

The majority of our puppies are placed as pets on *limited* registration. This means that the puppy IS AKC registered but if bred, the offspring would not be eligible for registration. This is done to prevent indiscriminate breeding and pet over-population. We encourage the spay and neuter of pet animals. This status of *limited* can be changed but only by the breeder. Occasionally, we do have breeding quality available. Prices will vary according to quality.

NOTE:
We raise Maltese *exclusively*.

All puppies/dogs are shown by appointment only. Please be considerate!! If you make an appointment which you cannot keep~~please call and let us know.
Thanks!

We DO NOT SHIP!!

We are located in Ohio.

We've received a lot of requests from folks who ask to come and view our babies while they are still quite young....so we decided that we should post this info on our website.........

It is our policy to not allow our puppies to be viewed in person until they are old enough to be vaccinated. They are typically vaccinated at 9 weeks. The vacs do not *take* immediately. It takes approximately 7 to 10 days for them to take. We know some may view this as an inconvenience and for that we sincerely apologize. However, we do this for the protection and well-being of our babies. It is conceivable that a virus or disease could inadvertantly be carried in on the shoes or clothing of a visitor therefore exposing our puppies. We feel our puppies must come first and our vet fully approves and feels we are wise in upholding this policy.

Thank you!

If you are considering adding a Maltese to your family.

Please be aware, as a potential puppy buyer/owner -- that NO breeder can guarantee the exact adult size of your puppy at maturity. All puppies grow at different rates and some may stop growing sooner than others. There is a trend for requests for *tiny* Maltese (under 4 lbs.) and while we do have tinies on occasion, we do not specifically breed for them. And when we do have the smaller ones.....they are placed into homes w/o children or other pets.

We have a separate page with info & pics of currently available babies:

Our main goal is to produce nice quality, healthy companions with sweet temperaments for a lifetime of loving.
