The Michigan Twins Association (MTA) was organized in 1946, following a convention of the International Twins Association (ITA) in Grand Rapids, MI. Annual conventions, or reunions, have been held each June since that time, meeting in many different cities and towns in Michigan. The purpose of the organization is social, to give twins a chance to meet with other twins and families of twins, and enjoy special twin fellowship.
History of the Michigan Twins Association
Membership requires that the members be born twins, or multiples, and one reside in the State of Michigan. Twins outside Michigan may become associate members upon payment of the annual registration/membership fee.
Membership in the Michigan Twins Association
Current registration/membership: $10 per twin age 18 and over: $2 per twin through age 17.
Membership dues are used to defray expenses, including mailing costs, and contest awards.
