A little about us!
Hi! We're Nancy and Sara, identical twins from Michigan. We are very active in a number of twin organizations, including the Michigan Twins Association, (of which we are co-secretaries-please visit our MTA web-site listed in the links section) and the International Twins Association. |
Here we are! (l-r) Nancy, our sister Cathy, and Sara getting ready to set off for our big weekend in Twinsburg! This will be our 13th festival, and Cathy's 1st! |

At Friday's hot dog dinner, we spotted these cuties giving their mom a workout! The dinner is a chance for twins to get registered, catch up with old and new friends, and just generally get in the mood for a twin weekend! |

Here are Ned and Fred Mitchell, from Hollywood, SC, with Sara, hanging out near the ballroom Friday night at the Holiday Inn Hudson, the ONLY place to party! We've known Ned and Fred for about ten years now. This was their 16th festival! |
Here we are lining up for the HUGE group photo, Saturday afternoon. It's a GREAT chance to see everyone all together in one place! But good luck if you're trying to find one specific person!!!! |

Those are twins Russell and Ralph Scott on the ends, and their brother, Stanley, in the middle. Stanley comes with his brothers every year, and has as much fun as they do!l |

This is only a small part of the twins who lined up for the group photo on Saturday! It requires a sloping hill, a photographer with a wide-angle lens, and a cherrypicker to capture them all! |
After the bar and ballroom at the Holiday Inn closed around 2am Saturday, the party moved into the lobby, where lots of twins kept us singing along to old favorites (and new) until almost 6am!! |
At Sunday's Twin Talent Show, Russell and Ralph are ready to start clogging. They perform every year, and are always a crowd favorite! They have won numerous awards nationwide with their clogging group from Amarrillo, TX. |

Here's a small sample of what the judges face when trying to choose the Most Alike. These ladies are from Sunday's 13yrs to 16yrs category. That's Christina and Heather in the purple and pink (in the back row)! |

Even the fraternal sets get a chance at Most Alike! These are some of the boy/girl fraternals! |

Ned and Fred hanging out with us at the Roseland Bowling Alley on Sunday evening, after the festival ended. A few years ago some sets of twins organized this event for those twins not going home until Monday. Since then it has become a MUST for many more, with almost 175 sets participating this year! We always go to watch, but in the interest of everyone else's safety, we don't bowl! |
Hey! How come the camera didn't...oh! These guys are Joe and Vinnie Costa from New Jersey. We've known them for about ten years now! This was their 12th conventon! |
CONGRATULATIONS! All the bowling twins helped Joe (left) and Helen, and Vinnie and Rita (who wasn't able to be at the festival this year) celebrate their twin engagements! Helen and Joe married the following November, and Vinnie and Rita expect to marry in 2000. Helen has a twin, Kathy. Joe and Helen met at Twinsdays two years ago! We wish both couples the best of luck, and many happy years together! |
After the games end, all the twins line up under the Roseland sign for pictures. It took three line-ups to fit us all in this year! |
The firstborn stand behind the younger in the pictures. It's kind of a tradition! |
