Newly updated! I've been meaning to complete this page for over a year, as well as one on character info for Oh My Goddess! Small Things are Handy!. I finally got digging around my Atari 8-bit disks and dug up this info which was translated from the original pages in Japan from Studio P-something. Anywho, thanks to Bruce C for help on getting this stuff. Bits of it are incomplete due to a word or some wierd wording in the original Japanese. I did the best I could, and Bruce was helpful in deciding on some of the wording. I have no idea why it took me so long to get around to doing this. I also plan to add info on the TV episodes, summaries I plan to write original instead of translating from the Japanese pages (for which Bruce grabbed for episodes 1-5).

Natsuki

  Name: Sasahara Natsuki

  Lineage: With a human father and a nekomata mother, she was born half-nekomata.

  Her tail is usually one long tail, but can become 2 tails when angry.

  * She's basically the (ottori) type, she's more likely to be fond of people she knows more than the typical person.

  * Doesn't mind eating canned cat food.

  * Takes to cleaning herself at odd times

  Family composition : Father -- archeologist (university professor), mother -- nekomata.

At the time we join the story, she's already without her mother. Because her father is currently overseas on an excavation examination, Natsuki is living as the head of as much as 30 cats (hybrid).

    Occasionally, she'll get from her father wierd excavation objects (stone statues and ornament articles) and puts them in a room where they are everywhere.

Sakura

  8-1/5 tail bewitching fox.
      (She's supposed to be a legendary 9 tailed fox.)

Though she can fly, she can't disguise herself. She hasn't become a 9 tailed fox just yet. She has a complex about that.

  father -- human. A master of yin & yang. Has already lived for 300 years, mostly a phantom. Is senile, has been sealed up for danger.

Batanen-sempai

  Think of him as Natsuki's sempai.

  Special mention :
  He is talented and skillful with his hand to hand fighting technique, but his strong point is his marksmanship (with guns).

  While he's very dependable as a bounty hunter, he's falling in love with Natsuki. More than his feelings as a man, he prefers his feelings as a protector.

Fuujin & Raijin

  Fuujin is red, Raijin is green.

  The parasites Natsuki carries.

  They draw the host's living body energy to live. They collect the energy, and can shoot from their backs an electrical ball. (They can become like an armadillo, a shape that completely covers the knuckles.) Usually, a person can keep only one, but Natsuki has two! (That might be due to her stronger bewitching power.) (A gift from her father, apparently.)

Tachibana Makoto and Ayami

  The young married couple who run the coffee lounge "Lamp". (Natsuki & the others are their regular customers.)

  Tachibana Makoto (the husband) - "Lamp"'s Master.
    (It seems to be a cultural thing in Japan that the person who owns and runs a bar or similar establishment is called 'Master'. ref: Kimagure Orange Road ABCB, Maison Ikkoku Chacha maru.)

  While he's always smiling warmly and to everyone and his regular Police Company customers who like him, he's very stern about the bill. And thanks to him, his shop is doing good business.

  Tachibana Ayami (the wife)
  She helps her husband at "Lamp", a hard working person who prepares food and as a waitress for the shop. She gives good advice to Natsuki about troubles in love.

  While she is a bright, gentle older sister, you'll be very scared when she's angry!

Bob

  Name: Bob
  Natsuki's pet cat.
  A cat, but he's an important guardian for the single living Natsuki. He's better known as a loan shark. (?)

Mudagami

  Chief Clerk Mudagami

  The Police company chief clerk that Natsuki and friends are stationed with. He's their immediate boss. He's what you'd call a "God" (because he is able to notice changes in things like the time-space continuum) - His achievement is in stagnation because of criminal arrest. It has become necessary in desperation to obtain reward money.

  But on the other hand, he also needs to pay attention to another's needs for the training (or promotion) of subordintates as a "nice boss".

  (He's not the ideal boss!)

Grey

  Grey
  An office girl at Natsuki's duty station. An original character in the anime (not in the manga).

  Somehow, a girl who says cool things, she'll sometimes come at a bad time, and makes Natsuki and the others to feel an occasional shock.
  There seems to be a sweet cute person behind those pop bottle glasses!

Tommy-kun

  character/personality : the humble servant type by nature (Peau's faithful dog statue) Tommy has a crush on Peau.

  special mention : He is a blood relative to Batanen.

Naoko

  Can be childish at times because her mother was murdered by a monster. She has a hatred of monsters. She loves her gun more than men. (Must be why she doesn't have a boyfriend. ^_-)

  A 4 spirit tamer (human), a water sprite tamer 'mapetto' (doll).

  The usual objects around her are 7 floating orbs, doing this creates the result that they drop when she's surprised.

  special mention :  In her house are 40-50 physical dolls, and she has a name for each one of them. Her friends are the dolls and Shimoda, her only coworker/associate.

  Her father is MPC's company president, and is also cold toward her father in the corporation.

  A go-getter driving an F-Elf.

  She considers Natsuki & others as her rivals, and comes running to meddle in one way or another.
