These are some photos that I took on 12/20/05 at the Dawson County Historical Museum located at 805 North Taft Street in Lexington, Nebraska. They are photos of the museum's historical display from local radio station KRVN.

This is the simulated broadcast booth containing some historic KRVN studio equipment.

This is the classic RCA microphone and mixing console. Note the large transcription disc in its paper cover on the left side of the desk.

This is a metal sign highlighting the station's move from 1010 to 880 kHz and the power increase from 25,000 to 50,000 watts.

Here are a couple of the photos on the display. The photo on the left depicts the original KRVN studios located in a large house at 8th & Washington. The photo on the right shows a large crowd waiting to visit the studio at an open house on "its first air date - February 1, 1951".
