McBus

Our 2004 Holiday Rambler Scepter

Diesel pusher, with 350hp Cummins engine. While similar in size (38') to our 1998 Endeavor model, this coach has 3 slides so is larger when slides are extended.

Snuggling Up To McBus

When we first saw our new coach, we were at a rally in Victorville and it was love at first sight. As we stand next to our coach, you get the feeling for it's size.

About that name "McBus"

Ivan, a friend on an RV newsgroup, suggested the name and we liked it. Motorhomes don't have to have a name, nor do vessels, but when a name is given and repeated a couple of times, it sticks.

Annie's World

Annie and I immediately liked the interior. Dark wood gives a very traditional look and the cabinetry was done by very fine craftsmen. The wood is cherry with a mahogany stain. The floor is marble tile.

Across the room from the kitchen is the dining area. The table can slide out for a setting for four persons. We had liked the dining booth in our Endeavor, but like the more formal table in our new coach. Behind me in this picture is one of the sofas and beyond that the "captain's" chair.
