Our Mission or Purpose is:

To Facilitate the preservation and perpetuation of Native American Culture through observation, education, support, enlightment, encouragement, and unified participations, working in UNISON, to aid and assist one another, and to promote the common cause of the Native American Indians in Indiana.

The Native American Indian Association of Indiana, also known as NAIAOFIND .... was founded in 1998. We held our first function in August of 1999. We are a young organization as you can see. However we all have been working towards bringing services to the Native Americans in Indiana. This is not an easy task, so if you will bear with us we will find other services to help assist you.

PATIENTS' ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

  • Marion Co. residents only-Wishard Advantage Program - 639-6671 - All Medical charges are adjusted to what you can pay or IF you are eligible, ALL Medical charges are paid for you.
  • Eli Lilly/ LiIly Cares - Prescription Program - 1-800-545-6962 -If you are eligible and if they produce it, you can receive prescriptions at no charge.

HELPING HANDS NEEDED:

We are searching for people who want to be of help to the Native Americans in Indiana. If you would like to be of help in any areas, such as any kind of home repairs, we have many Elders who need this kind of donated time. Assisting Elders and impaired ones to get where they need to go or do the shopping for them when they can not go.

You are invited to join us the Native American Indian Association of Indiana Inc.to participate in our 4th Traditional Gathering to be held at Camp Sertoma East in Indianapolis Indiana.

This year we will be hosting kid's educational day as part of our traditional gathering. We are inviting local schools to participate on Friday August 23,2002. We will be limiting the First Annual Kids day to students currently enrolled in the fourth (4th) and fifth (5) grade. Admission:$5.00 Adults Children under 10 free with adult. BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS.

OPEN TO PUBLIC:$1.00 Admission Friday 5-10PM. Friday evening will be casual, a time to visit, make new friends and browse the trader booths.Enjoy the traditional food.
Saturday Open 10AM till 10PM--- Sunday 10AM to 6PM.
DANCE TIMES: Saturday: 12:30-4:30 & 7-10PM
Sunday: 12:30-5PM

Camp Sertoma is located on the corner of Brookvlle Road (Hwy 52) and German Church Rd.
Brookville Rd. is EXIT 47 off I-465 if you are driving interstate, Camp Sertoma is (4mi) east of I-465 The address is 2316 S. German Church Rd.

ALL PARTICIPANTS PLEASE READ: We will be honoring an old tradition from now on. You will need to furnish your ( own plates, eating utinsels and cups ) In honoring this old tradition, we furnish the feast and you furnish for you and your family the items above. You can use the kitchen to clean your items anytime the kitchen is open

CAMPERS: Camping fee is 3.00 per night per adult. Children under 10 free. Showers and restrooms with handi cap stalls, play grounds for the kids.
