This website Page shows 1:48 O-Scale Models of IRT - BMT and NYCTA / MTA Rapid Transit "Maintenance of Way" Rolling Stock. MTA (NYCTA) Gondola-Body Traveling crane car # 245 seen in work train on center track of "EL" local station. Crane swings 360 degrees and rides back and forth on inside-gondola rails. Also has a rising and lowering boom with a 7 foot mini-extension boom at end.

Newer (early 1990 issue) MTA Steel 50' Flat Car # OF-173 is seen at rear of Crane # 245---these flat cars began replaced many of the earliest IRT wood & steel shorter flat cars from the 1910 thru 1940 era work roster. (Taken July 2001)

Rear car is an old 1910 IRT era truss-rod "GOH" rebuilt flat with a load wire cable reels on board seen passing thru station on El local track. It is preceeded by newer, modern steel flat # OF-173 (Taken July 2001)
