Samantha learns to stack

This litter was too small for the show ring and did not exhibit the qualities that I was striving for so they were never shown. All but Samantha were sold as pets and altered. Samantha (the pick pup) was bred once, but did not conceive. I never tried to breed her after that time. Samantha was spayed and lived until she was over 14 y/o. I purchased several more Bassets during the early 90's from other kennels but never got what I was looking for. I turned my focus to Pointers by then and away from Bassets. I do credit my start in purebred dogs to the Bassets and esp. my Sommeil. As if it were not for them I would not have been so driven.
