SOMMEIL OREILLE LANGUIR
September 30, 1988 - August 19, 2000
I lost me beloved Basset Hound today. Sommeil (prononuced So-May) was my beginning into the world of purebreds, she was with me through thick and thin, and many moves ranging from Guam (which included a qaurentine) to California. She never complained as she became one of the many dogs instead of the "only" dog. If it was not for her there would be no Oreille Kennels. My kennel, as many of you know, was named after her. She will be sadly missed , but her spirit lives on through her 10 y/o daughter Samantha, as well as all the Pointers here. Sommeil's personality could make anyone smile as she almost talked to you, she was very special. Sommeil Oreille Languir will always be the "Wind Beneath My Wings". Thank you Sommeil for just being you.
