With the exception of a few Archives Sets, 1958 and 1972 Topps are my only attempts at collecting full sets. I selected 1958 because as a child it was my first year collecting & that set has always been my favorite. 1972 was selected because on 11/07/72 I made a significant lifestyle change that in essence gave me another "birthdate".
The majority of cards I have from these sets are of the "well loved" variety and therefore my condition requirements are similar. So, send me your creased, stapled and torn, your wrinkled and your worn, & I will give them refuge in the House of Maxwell. |
