8/8/08 - An actual update! Sadly, I really don't have a lot of room to update the page anymore. You can, however, still find me all over the web. I have my own YouTube page under the name of LiquidPolicenaut. There, you can find a ton of Policenauts and Snatcher videos as well as many classic and current video game videos. As always and until next time....LS 3/6/06 - As some visitors MAY have noticed, I don't update pretty much anymore. I still love both games (and the whole MG universe too) but I feel I have updated and done the website to the fullest on my trusty ol' webtv space for the past 6 and a half years. Eventually, when I can find someone to help me, I would love to move the whole entire website to a new server and redesign the whole thing to its' fullest potential. Until then, I will try and keep it running right where it is, for as long as I can. Thanks to the thousands of visitors to the site over the years. I'm glad there were that many visitors to come and enjoy both Snatcher and Policenauts the way I have. As always.......LS 3/6/06 - Quick update here. In the recent issue of the Official Playstation Magazine (#102), in the "INPUT" section of the magazine (that's the letters section of the mag), you MAY notice a letter about a game they forgot on their "The Best Games You Never Played" article. The game is none other than Policenauts....and the author of that email is none other than yours truly :) At least i can always know that, even nearly 10 years after its' release on the PSOne, I at least got Policenauts one more shout-out..and maybe even a few new inquisitive fans to it. Until next time........LS 6/6/04 - Hey everyone. Just a quick update, not too much though. Today is June 6 and every Snatcher fan should know that "The Catastrophe" happened today either 8 years ago (according to the Sega CD version) or 13 years ago (according to the PC-E version). Either way it's an anniversary :) That's all for now. Until next time....LS 4/1/04 - An actual update! LOL I decided to add another section to my Extension page. I added the section "My Collection". It'll just be a page of pics from my own personal collection and stuff. The link is on my 2040 Extension page, but its also right here. I'll be adding more pics eventually to it, so this is just the beginning. Hope you enjoy. Till next time...LS 3/12/04 - Hello once again my fellow Snatcher & Policenauts fans, I still live! LOL. I know it's been a long time since my last update, but life has been kinda busy the past few months. This isn't a big update, but I felt it was worth mentioning...Metal Gear: The Twin Snakes was recently released for the Gamecube and, while in a good many areas it is nicely done, overall, I feel the original still holds up better in many categories. To my disappointment (but somehow I KNEW they were going to do this), all the Policenauts posters are gone and replaced with a poster of Zone of the Enders and the anime clip from Policenauts was replaced by a clip from Zone of the Enders 2. While ZOE 2 is a very good game, I miss my Policenauts references :( Anyways, it is still a good remake overall...just dont get rid of the original :) Well, that's it for now. I shall return sooner than 6 months with an actual site update this time! Till then.....LS 8/22/03 - Hey everyone. I realized this month is my website's four year anniversary and I just wanted to thank everyone who has been visiting my site over the years. I've been a bit busy lately, but I just wanted to add this piece of news. Many people have decided to email Konami of Japan and try, one last time, to get Policenauts translated into English. If you wish to try and get it translated here, email them at kcej-info@kcej.konami.com . Make the email nice and concise and, even though you may want to, dont curse at them either! LOL Just tell them your appreciation for Policenauts and that it would be great to see it released here. Small little update. I finally added something I should have added awhile ago. Under the Import Help section of Policenauts, I added the translation of the title menus and options for the PSX and Saturn versions. That's all for now. Till next time...LS 7/04/03 - Hey again everyone. I've just completed reconstructing the main page to The Policenauts Paradise and Snatcher Shrine Multimedia Masoleum. It now more closely resembles the look of the main page. Also of note, Konami recently announced the re-re-release of Policenauts in Japan. The news appeared on a French gaming site, but now also appears on Gamespot. The game will be released on Aug.7 and will cost around $15-20 US dollars. That's it for now. Under the Magazine Scans area of the page, I have added an overseas preview of Policenauts from Gamepro and under the Miscellaneous section there, I added an ad for Snatcher from an old Electronics Boutique catalog. Notice in the ad how, on the CD case, there is an "M" rating for it. Anyways, that's it for now. We also passed the 7 year anniversary of the Catastrophe on June 6th ;) Till next time....LS 2/20/03 - Welcome back everyone...Just a small little tidbit today...I picked up the newest issue of OPM today and it comes with a playable demo of Zone of the Enders 2 on it (another Kojima game). Now, we are all used to Kojima putting in little references to his other games in each one, but OPM did it this time (kind of)..In the sleeve that holds the actual DVD, remove the DVD and check out the pic behind it..recognize it? ;) It's the EMPS model from Policenauts!
