Alan and I, along with Princess Sugar Pie, really enjoyed the TV interview that took place at the Mountain Brook Retirement Village!
When I rolled Princess Sugar Pie into the Healthcare facility, in her buggy wearing her Famous "Cowgirl" outfit with her glasses on, I just wish that I could have taken a picture of Alan's Face. It was a look of disbelief and total amazement when he first saw Princess Sugar Pie. He said, "I have never seen anything like this before in my life," while shaking his head. When most people meet Princess Sugar Pie for the first time, they have this same reaction but maybe not quite as animated as Alan's was.

Princess Sugar Pie is wearing her famous "Cowgirl" costume, which is "only one" of her many wardrobe outfits that she wears!

While I'm changing Princess Sugar Pie's wardrobe, Laura Byrd; in back, Margret Knopp; who was partially viewed and Kay Tipton; on right, all look on with total amazement!

While I'm holding Princess Sugar Pie dressed as "Mrs. Clause", she in turn is tightly holding her little Moose. Carol out at the Smokey Mountain Flea Market gave Princess Sugar Pie the baby bonnet, and moose along with some other stuffed animals that Sugar Pie really loves.
Since the bonnet was way to big for Sugar Pie's dainty head, I had to modify and re-sew it somewhat to fit her. Sugar enjoys visiting everyone there at the Smoky Mountain Flea market when it is open during the weekend. She also visits "The Smoky Mountain Knife Works" and the Five Oaks "Tanger Outlet Mall" and enjoys those places too!
Note: This taking her to such places like the "Flea Market", "Knife Works", and "Outlet Mall" are an integral part of her training so that she will be accustomed to the many sights and sounds that she will encounter when I take her to visit health care facilities and/or enter her in cat shows! This makes Princess Sugar Pie a much better and much calmer cat!

Eventhough, Princess Sugar Pie is best known for her Cowgirl outfit, she is dressed up in her Witches Hat in this photo. This is her 2nd oldest outfit with the Jack-o-lantern costume being her 3nd oldest one. I bought this hat along with the scarf, not pictured, way back in October of 2005 at the Pet's Mart that is located in Spanish Fort, AL.
I dressed Sugar Pie up for the first time that year and one of my friends, Laura Wilson, took some of the first pictures of Princess Sugar Pie, in her various outfits. This first photo session took place while inside Laura and her husband's business called "Advanced Transmission" which is also located in Spanish Fort. I knew then that I was on to something when Sugar Pie started posing for those pictures.
Sugar Pie's first outfit or costume was an old "jelly jar" knitted cover that I made into a hat for her way back in the early part of 2005. This happened right before my Mother sold our family business called, "The Jelly Jar". We owned it for 34 years until my Step-Dad, Ed, died.
Sugar Pie looks like a cute "little kitten" in the picture that Laura took of her in the knitted "jelly jar" hat. It is one of the cutest pictures ever made of Princess Sugar Pie. I should put that picture that Laura took in Sugar Pie's images section - which I will probably do sometime in the near future. Thank you Laura for taking all of those great photos of Princess Sugar Pie! They have been used in Sugar Pie's contact pages for an Atlanta Pet Ad Agency and also for her pet photo entries in a couple of contests.

Princess Sugar Pie really enjoys posing for pictures which is her favorite pastime, while I, Kay Tipton and Janine Roushey look on. Janine's right hand is seen holding the camera phone while taking a picture of Sugar Pie.
More people seem to take pictures of Princess Sugar Pie with their camera phones than with any other type of camera. Sugar Pie really enjoys posing for all pictures no matter what they are taken with. Convenience wins for camera phones, I guess.
Princess Sugar Pie and I really enjoyed our interview with Alan Williams and also enjoyed our visit to the Mountain Brook Retirement Village. We plan on visiting again in the near future!
Special Thank You's go out to Alan Williams of WVLT TV 8 and his cameraman; Daniel Beckner. I also want to thank Dianne Hall; Activities Director at Mountain Brook and also thank you's go out to Janette Jager; Admin. Assistant at Mountain Brook for all their help in making this interview and visit possible, while making it a great success. Also, thank you Janette for all the photos that you took. Again, thank y'all plus all the residents that were involved too for this successful interview and visit. This was Princess Sugar Pie's First TV News Interview Ever!
