HERE IS A RECAP AND PHOTOS OF SHIPMATES AT THE 2004 REUNION IN SAN ANTONIO

There were thirty-four shipmates in at the reunion..With spouses and family and guests we had a total of sixty-five in attendance. Significant is the fact that eight shipmates were first time attendees, or a quarter of those present were there for the first time. Two of that number volunteered to be nominated as officers of the association and were duly elected. Shipmate Bill Truxall, the last commanding officer of the Wilson, joined us for his first reunion. A good time was had by all and many reunion regulars praised this event as one of the best in our twenty-three year history. Phil Dilloway _________________________________________The Reunion was great, as I previously stated, and I think it was one of the best, if not the best I ever attended. All of my gratitude goes to the wonderful people behind the scenes who make everything come out correct. It was a marvelous job done by our committee. I am sure, I will have to say the same thing next year, for I know the people working on the committee, and I am sure it will be great too. Again, thanks to everyone for a wonderful experience, Rufus Walker

OUT GOING SECRETARY/TREASURER

This Photo of Phyl Dilloway and his wife "Sande" is a reminder of Four Years of dedicated service that Phyl provided to the Association. He also spent much time in instigating and helping this webmaster build a new Web Page for our Association and our Great Ship we all loved so much!! I have enjoyed taking on this task so much and my Gratitude for Phyl's help and inspiration is beyond mention, but we have a new Sec/Treasurer now, with whom I served aboard with in the early 60's, Frank Esposito, and I trust and believe he can carry on with the same gusto and forethought! Thanks Phyl Dilloway, we all know you will be there when we need a helping hand!! Sincerely, GGRicks (62-65)
