USS ROBERT L WILSON DDE/DD847 REUNION (2005)

CAPTAIN MONROE WAS OUR AFTER DINNER SPEAKER

Here we see for the first time the Wilson's Commissioning Pennant in the frame at the foot of the podium. It was presented to the Last Skipper, C. W. Truxall, by the Senior Enlisted Man aboard ship when the ship was decommissioned. It is keeping with Navy Tradition. Bill Truxall was kind enough to bring it to the 2005 Reunion for all to see.
