Headspace is surface ground and squared to a .0425 rim depth, the same as a bolt action rifle too tweak in alittle accuracy... A hole is "E.D.M.'ed", a hardened ground solid dowel pin is pressed in over the top of the front of the firing pin... This new dowel pin keeps the front of firing pin from raising up and causing flyers and gives more consistent firing pin strikes... Firing pin is reworked and surface ground flat... Rear / bottom of bolt body is full radiused for smoother/better bolt function with standard and high velocity ammo's... The seen outside of bolt is beautifully prism jeweled as a finishing touch... Send in complete bolt assembly with $44 plus $6 priority mail return... Check or M.O. ($50 cash is good so there is no wait for check to clear)... Send by U.S. Mail or UPS... Turnaround... After it arrives - max it can be here is 2 weeks... If there is 2 or more bolts in package, its $44 each, plus (1) one $6 s&h... Do not multiply s&h... ( if bolt is to be used with .17 Mach2 ammo or .22 Hyper-velocity ammo only order "small radius"... CPC REV.3 EDM EXTRACTOR can be added and installed to above bolt rework by adding $10.. Bolt body can be "blackened" instead of jeweling. Bolt is polished than cold blued - same price, just note change... Or... Bolt can also be be ordered shining 'polished' with no jeweling...

10/22 MAGNUM BOLTS are done with polishing - jeweling - headspacing to .049 rim depth - new added dowel pin over the firing pin - small rear radius... Jeweled bolt shows that you put some work into your rifle and even took care of the little things

8 y/o Isabel in Texas saved up her own money to get her bolt CPC'ed... (8 y/o)...You can make a 10/22 your own...

Added magazine release extension, overtravel stop, anti-creep stop, auto-bolt release and crisp 2.25 to 2.5 lb trigger pull all standard on CPC 10/22 trigger job...
Trigger jobs on new plastic trigger groups are done here, no problem, normally at 2.5 to 3 lb pull... (Plastic trigger groups already have a extended magazine release so no extension is added)....

CPC 10/22 bolt rework. Headspace is surface ground to .0425 depth. Prism jeweled.

Three crown options are available for Ruger hammer forged barrels, (a) this is a backbored crown, (b) the sporter taper version (shown below) is also available plus (c) a recessed target 11 degree crown, at any finished length customer wants...
There are also crown options for Tuneups done on the 10/22 using the carbine barrels with open sights or aftermarket barrels, ect...

Optional but free cleaning hole in rear...
Tough nylon bolt stop pin is also free with CPC 10/22 Tuneups.

Inside receiver is stoned flat, to remove burrs, but is not polished.

CPC FreeBore chamber + chamber and entry polish. Barrels extractor slot is put in at correct angle and depth...
On carbine models with open sights, barrel is fixture installed so sights are leveled correctly on top... About half of CPC 10/22 Tuneups are with open sight carbine barrels...

Barrel is setback to a CPC FreeBore semi-auto match chamber designed for Ruger 10/22's, lapped, recrowned by 1 of 3 different crown options and re-installed with a tighter lockup...

Ruger T barrel sporter tapered crown... This one was threaded into the Ruger receiver eliminating the V-block part making a stable rifle... Barrel is finished at 19 inches...

Ruger T or RRR barrels only... Tapered from end of stock forward by 8.5" to a .62" dia recessed 11 degree target crown... Removes 1/2 lb of front end weight and produces the best accuracy from the hammer forged barrel... Add $18 to Tuneup for this option... See crown options page on main website...
