I "luv" this collage of The Bee Gees. First time I saw this was in 1999. Whoever put it together THANK YOU SO MUCH! The picture that is in the front was from Saturday Night Fever in the '70s and the picture in the back was from BG2K in 1999~2000. My daughter and I had a life size poster from the 70's. That poster was so large it looked like they were standing in our living room. The 2nd copy I obtained from a friend in New Jersey who found it in her attic. My original ONE was destroyed. They both have a blue and white background, which made them look like they were standing in the clouds. Thanks and ENJOY!

The track - which featured in classic musical Saturday Night Fever - hit the top of the U.K. charts in 1978 and will be honoured at the forthcoming BBC Electric Proms concerts in London next month (Oct08). Gibb and Spiteri will perform a duet accompanied by the London concert orchestra at the city's Roundhouse venue on 25 October (08). BARRY GIBB + ROBIN GIBB PLANNING A RETURN TO THE STAGE NEXT YEAR? "The surviving BEE GEES are eyeing a return to the stage - five years after the death of their brother and bandmate MAURICE GIBB. Gibb passed away in 2003 at the age of 53 after suffering complications from a twisted intestine - and his death devastated his two siblings Robin and Barry. The pair only played one show together after their brother died, preferring instead to focus on their solo work. But now Robin has admitted that the emotional wounds are slowly healing and they are now preparing to make a comeback as a duo. However, he admits they are likely to stick to their decision to retire the Bee Gees name out of respect for their late brother. He says, "We decided that on an emotional level at that point. This was in England - the prize was 30,000 pounds, so Barry presented $60,000 to DRI. Barry Gibb and his wife Linda, serve as the group's international chairmen. A new position was also announced - Young Society of Love and Hope Honoree. Holding this title in its first year are the children of Barry and Linda Gibb: Stephen and Gloria, Ashley and Therese, Travis and Stacy, Michael and Ali Gibb." ============== GIBB NEWS 2007 ============== The home of Barry and Linda Gibb, purchased from the estate of the late Johnny and June Cash, burned to the ground earlier this year in Tennesse. Fire was caused by roofers during the renovation. Barry says that they will build there own home further back on the property and leave the remains of the Cash's home as a memorial to Johnny and June Cash for their fans. -------------------------------------------------- May 8th and 9th, Barry Gibb, was on American Idol during this weeks eliminations. Barry gave instructions and made comments to the contestants. They were all singing songs written and sung by Barry and his brothers, The Bee Gees, also Barbara Streisland and Diana Ross. I think he very surpised that one of them picked THIS IS WHERE I CAME IN. I was surprised that Barry chose TO LOVE SOMEBODY to sing on the 2nd night. I was hoping he would've sung WORDS. I love the way his face lights up when he sings that song :) --------------------------------------------------------- Robin Gibb was a judge a few years back on American Idol as well. I believe he did it here in America and in England. He made a record with the winner in England of one of the Gibb songs. --------------------------------------------------------- It is hard to believe that it has been 4 years, since Maurice Gibb died on January 12, 2003. Barry sold Middle Ear Studio. After Maurice's death he had purchased it from Mo's estate and from Robin. Another part of Gibb history is gone. Brothers, Barry and Robin sang together in Florida for charity. Barry bought Johnny Cash's home in Tennessee. Can you just imagine the kind of music he will compose there!

Robin Gibb to be at the July 4th Celebration in Washington, DC " Fans heard Robin singing JIVE TALKIN, HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE AND STAYIN ALIVE today (July 3rd) at the dress rehearsal~ sound check for the show.
