Dr. Robin Gibb, CBE ~ Adam Gibb accepting the honor for his father ~ "The Late Great" Dr. Maurice Gibb, CBE ~ and Dr. Barry Gibb, CBE. They received the award from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace in London, England, today.
"The Bee Gees knew of this award back in 2001. Due to 911, Barry's fear of flying kept them from accepting the award at that time from Queen Elizabeth. They had decided to accept it together. Unfortunately, with the untimely death of Maurice, last January 12, 2003, it could not happen until today. Maurice's son, Adam, was there in his place." | I just received this one tonight too and I think it was Roseanne from Iowa. Looking at Robin's hair I would think it was around the mid - 80's. Love this ONE! |
