JOHN FRANCIS LANGAN & MARGARET MARIE MURPHY   Our common ancestry goes back to Maurice Sylvester Langan and Margaret Kenelly, that is the spelling version I have of them. I have him born 1837 in Ireland and died Feb 4, 1927 in Platte Center. She I have born in 1841 and died in Platte Center in 1904. From there we diverge, each of us descending from another sibling. My grandfather was John Francis Langan, I have him born 29 June 1862 in Askeaton, Ireland. He married Margaret Marie Murphy, born 20 Feb 1875 in Platte Center, on 29 Nov 1893. My grandparents came to Illinois in the late 20's I believe. They died in Illinois in the 40's and I believe were returned to Nebr for burial. Columbus maybe. Unfortunately all of the offspring of John and Margaret Langan are now deceased. She married Roy Kellogg from Sioux City, Iowa and you know, I'm not even sure where. But it was in Illinois somewhere, probably Evanston.
