By now you should know that The James River Band and Tommy Bishop and The Chessmen are the culmination of Tom Briner, Custom Music Services and Rudy Boisseau of Sounds Nice Music Services.
Our approach is to provide more material in a smaller package for the venue.

Tom Briner as lead vocalist/guitarist has an arsenal of music titles in a wide variety of styles. His experience over the past thirty years brings a virtual encyclopidia of music to any event.

Rudy Boisseau brings classically trained and theater honed accompaniment skills and his abilities with synthesizers and Electronic Music Composition add to an aleady diverse capability. Rudy uses a GENERAL MUSIC S3 for a digital work station and a classic ARP 2600 for sound synthesis, analog style.
This combined experience can deliver musical entertainment for a wide variety of tastes.

You may have an outdoor wedding with an evening reception. This requires a portable sound system, and if you like an audio or video recording of the event. Lighting may also be necessary for the reception. If you need accompaniment for the soloist in the ring ceremony, Sounds Nice is here to make your wedding a memorable one.
Your company may need a training video and background music and voice over narration is needed. We can Compose, Record and Copywrite your music and Sounds Nice can provide Voice Over Narration and Sound Effects from his library of digital and analog sounds.

Travler is primarily a country band that really delivers the dance music. Wayne Greer heads up the ensemble as lead singer/drummer/rhythm guitarist. Wayne has provided country music throughout Virginia and NC for over 20 years.
On bass is Jay Levorsen, Frank Pitchford on lead guitar and RudyBoisseau on Keyboard. Travler covers danceable Country, with some Beach, Soul and Funk music tossed in.

Silhouette is a two piece ensemble comprised of Pete & Shirley Wells. Their duo has entertained the various East Coast clubs and Cruise Ships since 1994. Pete controls the midi equipment performing over sequenced bass and drum tracks while Shirley's duties are in the lead and backup vocals and "shake-a-ma-things" Shilouette has an extensive song list covering Country with an even better Patsy Cline list as well as 50s thru 90's top
Rock, Beach and Soul hits.
