DirtStar in action...

An idea that was over 20 years in the making, it all started August 17, 2002 at an outdoor concert at Fiddlestyx in Milton, Pa. The committment was made to form an 80's tribute rock band that would later be known as DIRTSTAR.

From grungy punk like the Ramones...to the clean harmonizing sounds of the big hair bands like The Cars. The early heavy metal of Black Sabbath to the well refined metal of Metallica. Hard rockin' AC/DC down to sweet whalin' Great White.

DIRTSTAR loves to interact with the audience. If you love 80's rock & metal, you will love a DirtStar show! We will take you on a trip back in time when big hair and leather were cool. Like it or not, you're in for a dose of ROCK & ROLL!

Here's who we are... We are DIRTSTAR. Musicians and long-time friends from the central Pennsylvania area, we are a tribute band to the hot heavy sound of the 80's. From the grungy punk, to the big hair bands, to the head-bangin' heavy metal. We pay a tribute to this era, and add our own style and influences to the music we play. A DIRTSTAR show is a unique experience. Look for us....at a bar or club near you!

DARREN

Lead guitar and vocals. What more can you say? A guitar madman with an awesome playing style. Not bad for a lefty! Darren is the driving force behind DirtStar, and one hell of a tattoo artist!

AARON

DIRTSTAR's drum machine. Aaron is a versitle drummer that can play about anything. His many ventures include drumming for BLUE SUEDE GOO, THE 3 SKINS, SETH, and many others. DirtStar wouldn't be DirtStar without Aaron beating the skins. And hooking up all the wires!

DAVE

Bass and raw screaming vocals for DirtStar. Never know WHAT may come out next! Stay tuned, 'cause it's always a good show. Anything for rock & roll!
