TINKER TOY BOY. 1. I'm a tinker toy boy I'm a tinker-toy child. Give me tinker toys and I just go wild! Always go to sleep with my tinker toys. I'm just a good ol', happy ol', tinker toy boy. 2. I loves them little wooden wheels with the holes in the side. And all the playful pieces that I can fit inside. It's kind of like life, with all the things you can do. And its kinda like dreaming, and makin' dreams come true. 3. Well, i'm a big boy now, with big tinker toys. Ever'thin I own, brings me some kind of joy. Friends say my rooms, never look the same. I just can't stop playing, my tinker toy games. 4. When I applied for a job, an' took their aptitude test. They gave me a hundred parts and said, "do your best." I thought they were kidding, 'cause for me it was play. And what I built that day, is on display... today. 5. Well, they called me a genius, put P.H.D.s on my staff. What the others couldn't do, I did with a laugh. I became a blood brother to ev'ry kind of machine. I tell you, I built things nobody'd ever seen. 6. I never tried to put a square into a round hole saw a lot of people try even though they was told. Their mama's, a lovin' lady gives 'em lots of class and poise but all they ever get from me was more 'n more.... tinker toys. Ev'ry one, became a tinkerer, and now their children do the same. They just can't stop playing, their tinker toy games. 11. And now, they've got computers, so there's no end to what they'll do. Big time impact on this world, 'cause they make so much that's new.
