Then merging from the shaDOWS IN THE DARK A FIGURE MOVED AWAY FROM THE OLD HOUSE SEEMING TO LEAVE THE GROUND AND FLOAT as it moved. Then with great speed as lightning flashed all around it the shadowy figure seemed to disappar into nowhere in the dark night as bright bolts of lightnbg flashed all over. There is a light in the darkness .... As the shadowy figure disappeared into the midst of the nights encircling depts another figure wearing a backpack appeared seemingly out of nowhere on the wet street in the heavily pouring rain. The rain somehow seemed to give it more shape adding to the realiy of it's existence. The figure stood up and thenr leaning over his backpack was putting something into it and then closing it. Picking up an insulated container he looked around the area. "Lets see 1313 1/2 13th Street.' he said to himself. "This seems to be the place." he commented looking at the old house. He shivered hearing the thunder roll across the sky followed by a bright flash of lightning.. He now noticed something dark flying near it. It seemed to have got chilly and colder and then it started raining even harder as he could hear the wind whispering. "They had to send me out on a night like this" the shadowy figure commented as a street light made his face glow. He then thaught about the others at the store. He shivered again and felt like someone could TAKE 2 TABLESPOONS OF TAPIOCA AND MIX IT UP inside him. He knew without looking who ordered the pie though he had never made any deliveries here before. He knew the address without even looking at the infromation on the square flat box that he carried. He had been returnibg from a delivery when the order came in, so he decided to go out again adter all he was all wet, and then he went straight to his work with nary a word. Where had he heard that expression before? He also knew as he approached the old house that a girl would answer the door dressed in dark clothes, and a dinner jacket. The door slowly creacked open after he knocked and he felt he could almost hear it echoing. The door was opened by a girl wearing black pants and over a very dark blood red shirt she wore a black dinner jacket. "Can I help you my fine fellow?" she asked. She then smiled at him licking her red lips which seemed redder in contast to her skin color. She then looked at the box he was holding and an unusual expression crawled across her face. He then gulped and used his best cheery vioice as the rain continued dancing, and drumming behind him. "Good Day." He said as to him day began and ended at Sun down. " I am Mon Amis from Psycic Pie." We always know what you are going the minute you touch the phone and call us. You don't even have to say anything. We know what you want." We get our orders right over 99% of the time. The other 1 percent change their mind after placing the order, but we know they will so they get the Psychic Pie that they want anyway. For some we do not deliver because we know they decided they did not want one. Others change their mind after ordering. Before they change their mind we know they will and they will still get the exact kind of Pie they want because we are Psychic Pie." Suddenly a stranger seemed to appear out of nowhere as if from a puff of smoke. A roll of thunder echoed outside. Slinging his black cape with blood red lineing over his sholder he asked the girl, "What's up Suzy Q?" "Well ," sh responded. " I ordered an Apple Pie from Psychic Pie because we were hungry." "Vhat you mean we. I vas not here. You order Apple Pie? Vat four you order ze Apple PIe van you know I like de Strawberry. They remind me so much of ze nice ved blood, an are so much sweeter. "King Henry called himself we when he refered to himself so I can too!" stated Suzy Q. I ordered an Apple Pie because you don't like chiffon because it strickes to your fangs and it is always on Strawberry Pies." "O.K.! I am a Strawberry Vampire!" stated the stranger. I still vant de Strawberry Pie instead of de Apple Pie." I luv to suck ze sweet nector of de lffe from ze sweet strawberries." His tongue then danced around his lips as if anticipation. The Guy from Psychic Pie said, "We are Psychic Pie. We know psychicly what you want before you even place your order and if you will changeit what you will change it to. No matter what you order I will have the Pie you want. Nobody has been dissatisfied yet, he smiled." After all we are Psychic Pie. "If it doesn't I will bite your neck," Stated the Strawberry Vampire. He threw the black cape with blood red lining over his sholder again. I vant a Strawberry Pie even though Suzy Q ordered a n Apple Pie." The Strawberry Vampire steereed at her real hard and frowned. " I vant to suck out ze sweet neckter of de Strawberry from de Pie." "But Strawberry Chiffon always comes on the Strawberry Pies and you keep complaining how chiffon sticks to your fangs when you suck the Strawberrys. Remember all the troub;le you have getting it off of them. Thatr's why I ordered an Apple Pie. " Suzy Q explained. "Thats no problem ,' smiled the Psychic Pie Man then relaxed putting the Psychic Strawberry Pie from inside its carrying container and put it on the counter. "Oh really?" Stated Suzy Q looking at the Strawberry Vampire. "Then try this! " said the Psychic Pieman slowly opening the Pie Box and showed them it's contents. "I ordered an Apple Pie but feel I should have got a Strawberry Pie for my friend. Bsides I don't feel like an Apple Pie anymore." Then looking into the Pschic Pie box she gasped. I can not believe it !" "We are Psychic Pie. We know what you want. " The Pie Man said. " It contains 1 CUP OF SUGAR AND 6 CUPS OF STRAWBERRIES MIXED. We use a CHOCOLATE GRAHAMJ CRACKER CRUST." "Oh and no chiffon! Sure I'l tell you what's in it!" The Psycic Pie Man said as if reading Suzy Q's mind. "THE CRUST IS MADE USING 2 CUPS / 8 OZ. OF SEMI~FINELY GROUND CHOCOLATE GRAHAM CRACKERS." He paused, " I can't tell you the secret ingredient in the Pychic Pie as it is done Psychlcly." H continued . "ADD 1/2 CUP MELTED MARGARINE OR BUTTER, ADD 4 TABLESPOONS HONEY OR 3 SUGAR. COMBINE ALL CLOCKWISE TILL HOOPY . Hoopy means altogether complete. THIS WILL MAKE BOTTOM CRUST. DUPLICATE IT WITHOUT THE SUGAR/HONEY FOR THE TOP CRUST. " I can't tell you what the secret ingredient is!" He paused seeing the expression on Suzy Q's face. " Besides you could not locate it easily anyway." "PUT THE CRUST IN A PIE PAN OILED WITH PEANUT OIL to maintain the nuttiness, WALK THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST UP THE SIDE OF THE PIE PAN (A DEEP PIE PAN IS BEST FOR STRAWBERRIES) AND OVER THE TOP SIDE EDGE AND ACROSS BOTTOM TILL EVENING. I mean UNTIL THE CRUST IS EVEN," After filling, snd covering it, It is then PUT IN A 350 DEGREE PREHEATED OVEN ABOUT 10 OR 15 MINUTES. REMOVE LET SET TILL PIE IS DONE . IF MAKING TWO PIES DO NOT DOUBLE THE TEMPERTURE OF THE OVEN IF YOU DOUBLE THE INGREDIENTS." He smiled and said. " That answers what you were wondering about how the crust was made." "It looks delicios !" Suzy Q stated, "Hey!!" "It looks sooo good. I must drink ze nice sweet red nector of ze delicious Strawberrys." the Strawberry Vampire said. Then he sank his fangs into the juices of the Strawberry Pie. The Psychic Pie Delivery Man noticed the pairs of round marks in the shriveled Strawberries in the Strawberry Psychic Pie. Then he said, " Don't forget you can read your Psycic Pie juice to see what will happen in the future. When you are done eating your slices of Psychic Pie look at the designs made by the Strawberry Pie juice, etc. on the plate and carefully meditate on the designs made on your plate (ceramic is best) like you do when cloud watching for shapes in them or with Tea leaves. However Suzy Q had Pie Juice on her plate. The Psychic Pie Man studyed over the designs left by the Psychic Strawberry Pie very carefully seeming to become one in awareness with the designs. Closing his eyes he seemed to merge and become one with them as he meditated. Then he took 4 deep breaths and opened his eyes.

"Interesting," said the Psychic Pie Man looking at the Pie Juice on the plate. It looks like one is shaped like a Pie, and the other like a Strawberry but it is kind of hard to .... "There would be more juice to read if Strawberry Vampire did not suck it all up!" said Suzy Q angraly. " Hey I used only my share!" responded he Strawberry Vampire, " and I don't thenk de vampires have ze fortunes. Besides I am a Strawberry Vampire and I luv to suck ze juice . "Too bad there isn't more here." said the Psychic Pie Man. " Then I am a Psychic Pie Man and should be able to inturpret it anyway." Hmmm" Very Interesting . I guess I should then. It says I am going to give you the recepie for PSYCHIC STRAWBERRY PIE REQUIRED BY PSYCHIC PIE NOTE~ IF YOUR MEASUREMENTS DIFFER INFORM ME AND I WILL ADD THEM ALSO - Now for the recepie ~ PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES TAKE 1 1/2 LB / CUPS OF STRABERRIES, REMOVE THE GREEN TOPS, AND SPLIT EACH ONE IN HALF I have tred to spli them with laughter wihout succss. Maybe they don't have a sence of humor. At leasit it makes me feel good. STIRRING CLOCKWISE FOR POSITIUVE ENERGY IN YOUR FOOD ADD 1 EGG for all the yolks you been doing. BEAT UP THE EGG REAL GOOD unless it is sentiant then appologise first and ask if it will agree to live on in you. ADD 4 TABLESPOONS FLOUR STIRRING CLOCKWISE. Then ADD 1 TABLESPOON S@M%C•*° JUICE (OUR SECRET INGREDIENT) SOMEWHERE. COMBINE EVERYHING TOGETHER STIRRING IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION . MIX TILL IT IS HOOPY AND POUR INTO THE CHOCOLATE GRAHAM CRACKER PIE CRUST. POUR IT SLOWLY AND EVENLY INTO THE PIE CRUST. TAKE THE CHOCOLATE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST MADE SAME AS CRUST INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN EARLIER EXCEPT NO HONEY~SUGAR IS ADDED AND SPRINKLE IT ON TOP OF THE PIE. SPREADING IT WITH A COLD KNIFE COVERING IT COMPLETELY TILL FLAT, AND PRESS SIDES, OR IF USING LIKE A REGULAR CRUST which I feel you will not use with a Strawberry Pie ROLLING IT FLAT AND THEN PLACING ON TOP IN STRIPS PRESSED TOGETHER. PUT IN A PREHEATED 400 DEGREE OVEN 42 MINUTES as 42 is the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything according to the Hitchhikers GuideTo The Galaxy. and

Standing in the center of the round pie rug the Psychic Pie Man then raised the pie container that he had brought the Psychic Pie in over his head, and said, "Enjoy your Psychic Pie And May Your Fortune Be Bright Then You Will Contact Us Again On Another Night. We Know You Will !" Then suddenly with a great puff of blue light he disappeared . Pie Man, Pie Container, Pie Rug and all..... Oh! The Strawberry Psychic Pie was delicious so I am ordering another one like he predicted. and my fortune from the juice came true like you would never believe. :)
