A Lone Wolf Coming Home
Winds blow across a frozen plain. The lone wolf's
fur ruffles as it trots alone through the frozen
wasteland of life, looking and longing for the spiritual connection and family it has never known in this lifetime.....A tentative questioning howl, is
heard off in the distance- The lone wolf pauses,
and pricks up its ears, as it recognizes the call of the pack-Older than our memories, and more ancient beyond all knowing. Without hesitation,
the wolf stops and howls back to the full moon rising over the horizon. The howl in the distance, now closer, rises again in joyful return, stronger and without hesitation this time....And then another
voice is heard and another and another, until
the excited howls, echo through the night.
The lone wolf again raises its muzzle in return,
and lets out a long, low howl that tells of a wanderer lost, returning home. A loner no longer alone, but coming home to ones missed and loved, and soon to be known again......
Are you that lone wolf?
