JUNE UPDATE:

We got 2.25" of rain in June. Plants are growing slowly, Plants aren't the biggest, I have ever had, but I have plenty of tomatoes coming on. Not impressed with the growth of the 4th of July plants at all. My Sweet Baby Girls are really going to town. Blossoms and maters everywhere.Early Blight is minimum and insect damage is barely noticable on all plants.

July 2: Bought yet another plant. This is #75. Kind of late, but it is an earlier tomato. I bought a Husky Cherry Red, my favorite cherry type. Hope I have time to get all them picked.

July 4: Measured .75" of rain

July 7: Measured .2" of rain

July 14:
1 Fourth of July

July 17: Garden sure is slow to grow and underdeveloped,so I bought some Expert Water Soluable fertilizer and did the garden. One of my squash plants died and even though I haven't mentioned them on this page, I thought I would now. I have planted new seeds of a zucchini called "perfect pick", which requires no bees to pollinate. The deceased squash was called "gold bar" and I only got 2 squash from it. My remaining squash plant is called "elite" and is doing fair. Both were planted in the same 3cu.ft bag.

JULY UPDATE:

Got 3.5" of rain in July. Fell mostly after mid month. I am running behind last year with the tomatoes., but type and size are better this year. Last year, my main garden hadn't yielded yet and all I had picked were smaller types from bags. This year bags haven't started yet, except cherry types and 1 Carmello, which is fairly standard hybrid flavored. A big let down. Beefmaster is sweet this year, but small. Super Fantastic is basic flavor also..

AUGUST UPDATE:

WOW! Hot days, cool nights and really dry for 26 days. Plants were stalled for a while but started all of a sudden and now they are in a hurry. Got 2.5" of rain, mostly on August 28th. Chianti Rose is great tasting and Crimson Cushion turns out to be my largest fruiting tomato.
Rush of rain cracked a lot of tops in a circular fashion. Most are smaller then normal but they are sweeter then usual.

NOTE: Everything has remained undersized, due to he dry conditions, which the exception of what I thought was Crimson Fancy.I have never grown anything this consistantly huge, because I lack a lot of sunshine, but this is big, most 5"-6" in diameter, but they aren't Crimson Fancy, Crimson Fancy are round, not heavily ribbed, as I just found out this evening and not near as big. I think it may be Crimson Cushion, because it was seed sent by a fellow grower, so I'll assume he/she made a slight error. I have made the adjustment in all areas othe web page. GOOD for me in any event. They are yummy. .Champion sure is extremely prone to Blossom End Rot. It's the only one this year.
