Tomato Problems

This page wil be dedicated to problems facing Tomatoes and Tomato Plants.

This is a picture of Early Blight in it's early stages

This is Early Blight, near the end of the season. Notice the progression from the first picture. There is very little you can do to prevent Early Blight, except; always use clean tools (wash your tools with chlorox diluted with water, after the season is over). Keep soil from splashing unto foliage. IE: Mulch well. Lastly you can try a fungacide spraying program. I recommend Bio-neem, which is natural and organic. Daconil is also good, but a chemical is a chemical and my friends have learned to expect an organic tomato

The next 2 pics show the characteristic concentric rings on leaves

Notice the rings inside the brown spots, on the leaves. The concentrc circles are characteristic of early blight

You can really notice the rings on this closeup. If you don't have these rings, chances are you don't have early blight. The ringing can also be present on the plants stem.
