We are both married (fortunately to husbands who join in the twin fun). A couple of times we have switched hubbys and gone to parties just to see if anyone at the party would notice...no-one did. Our husbands very rarely make a mistake, only if our backs are turned or if one of us is where the other is supposed to be.

We each have three children ranging in ages from 41 to 54. She has 2 boys and a girl and I have 2 girls and a boy and no twins, that's another question we are often asked. They hardly ever make a mistake either, and bless their hearts they have had to put up with their Mother and their "other Mother" all their lives. They all just kind of go along with whatever we do and laugh about it.

When we do something that they call "eerie" like when we show up in the same clothes when we hadn't talked to each other, or say something at the same time, or give each other the exact same birthday present, they just shrug their shoulders and say "it's a twin thing".

We are the oldest of 5 children (Gloria's 15 minutes older than I am.) and this is our younger sister Donna.

Our children kid about being more like half siblings than cousins because their Moms are identical twins and they may be right. I know nothing about DNA or genes but they may have something, and it would be interesting to look into it.

Neither did we marry twins, another oft asked question, in fact we rarely saw twin boys when we were growing up. There was a pair that used to ride their bikes over to see us but we were waaaaay too young to date so that took care of that. There was another pair that were in our class in high school but they were too "bookish" for us and the only thing we liked about them was that their Dad owned a potato chip factory.
