Tyger's Diary For July 14, 1999
Since this is my first entry on my webpage, I thought I'd begin by telling you about my miracle cat. I"m the proud owner of 4 lovely cats: Tang, the siamese male, Keedie, the mother of my other 2, and a long-haired mix resembling a Maine Coon cat, Keedie's daughter, Misty, a polydactyl calico, and son, SnowPuff, a white long-hair with a green eye and a blue eye. Snow Puff is my miracle cat. He has kidney disease. About a year ago, he got terribly thin and dehydrated. Our vet recommended putting him to sleep, however, we decided to take a chance and let the vet treat him for his illness. After a week in the animal hospital and a few weeks of force-feeding him a special diet and giving him fluids, he recovered, much to our vet's surprise. He was expected to die, not recover. But he fooled everyone! He is still alive and well today. He still has kidney disease, as he always will. But with medication and a special diet, he now lives the life of a normal, happy cat. He's living proof that miracles do happen when a cat has the will to live! See you next time! TygerStar079
